There was a concept thread a while ago (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php ?t=450073) about Role Playing the Reformation. I thought this was a great idea. Sadly, the thread died quickly. I am going to try to make this happen. I'll roleplay the Catholic Church. You guys will either role play:
A) Real Life Sect that formed
B) A sect you made up (though you must find Biblical support for your teachings)
OR
C) A nation where sects popped up
The RP will start when Luther nailed his thesis to the door of the church in Whittenburg, in 1517.

Catholic Church- Cherry Ridge
One of the most powerful institutions in the world, the Catholic Church holds sway over Catholic rulers. The Church holds the power of excommunication. The Pope also holds lands in central Italy, known as the Papal States.
Leader: Pope Leo X
