*****THE OLYMPIC COMMITEE OF NOUVELLE ANGLETERRE*****
On behalf of OCNA I am pleased to announce that Nouvelle Angleterre is submitting bids to host both the Winter and Summer Olympiads.
The mountain ski resort of Furneux Pelham has submitted a bid to host the inaugural Winter Olympiad. The Mayor of the city Tom McCusker said "I beleive that with the infrastructure for a wide variety of winter sports already in place and very welcoming locals, Furneux Pelham is the ideal place to stage the Olympics. We would be a city that would embrace other cultures and learn alot from their customs. Nouvelle Angleterre is a nation that is free from government corruption and the threat of international terrorism and so would be a perfect place to stage a show of international unity".
The nations capital Noumarche has submitted a bid to host the inaugural Summer Olympiad. Nouvelle Angleterre's Prime Minister Daniel Allen MP,PM said "The people of Noumarche and indeed the entire nation would be delighted if Noumarche was chosedn to host the Summer Games. We have only been an independent state since 2002 and have only recently established international relations. It is because of this that we have a government free from corruption and a nation free of terrorism. The gaining of independence allowed us to totally rebuild the cities of Nouvelle Angleterre and therefore the nations sports stadiums are brand new, the showpiece being the 100,000 capacity National Stadium in the centre of the capital. I firmly believe that we could make the inaugural Summer Olympiad the success and spectacle it deserves to be".
