Imperial Protection Agency Headquarters, Mid-Morning, Colony Osiri.

The man sat in the Centre of the room, his form thin, gaunt. He was unshaven, and had several slices over his thin body. His breathing came out in ragged gasps, his head raised upwards as a fluid dripped from above him onto his forehead. He thought, he listened to the sound of the drips, felt them, keeping him awake, making him live every moment he was in here.

On the opposite side of the room, a the sound of mechanics whirling when a door opened, light flooded the mans senses and he gasped at its intensity, his eyes having been in the dark for Days. His eyes slowly adjusted, and he saw before him a tall man, long black hair and pale skin. When he regarded the person sitting in the chair, it was with disgust.

“Samuel Ryan Cooper,” Azeilma said. The sound caused the Spy in the chair to wince…that made him wonder why…he hadn’t been that sensitive to sound… “I doubt this is your real name…but it is the name you registered with when you entered the Empire.” He seemed to stare off into the distance, before continuing. “You arrived from Adejaani Nine years ago. Since then, you have taken several jobs.” He looked at the man. “You where granted Citizenship 6 Years ago, and got a job in the Imperial Authority 5 Years ago”

There was a pause…before he spoke again. “For 4 years we figured that you where no threat to us, although we kept an eye of you, but then…then The Imperial Authority put you up.” He smiled, watching the drip fall on the man. “See…we knew you where passing on information…we let you loose for a year, to get an idea of your style…it was fairly well done. You got things through. After a while however, we decided you where useless to us. That’s why you’re here now my friend. Because your going to tell us who sent you”

He smiled, withdrawing a needle and pressing it into the neck of the Spy. With a quick finger push, the green fluid was injected into the Blood Stream. Azeilma watched…before at some moment, he decided it was right to speak again.

“Who sent you, be honest now” He said, a snarl to his voice. “The Liquid I injected will have…dire effects.” The man screamed, as if someone had just ripped away some of his mind. “I know which part of your brain I want…the rest of it can die for all I care…do tell me, or it will continue” More Scream. “Tell me!”

“Adejaani…” he screamed, as more of his brain tissue was eaten away. “I was sent by Adejaani! Make it stop!”

“Good boy…now, as a true citizen, you would know death is the price for treason…since you choose to tell me…I shall make yours quick.” The man would never have even seen the phase blade as it lashed out, causing the head to roll from the body. And with that, Azeilma walked from the room. As he did, he looked at a passing servant.

“Tell the Adejaani that we wish to have a speak with them.” He said, a fury in his voice. “Tell them to send someone here As soon as their able”

"Oh indeed, is that right?" Augustus Murdoch (http://home.iprimus.com.au/quincyw/cbaker.jpg) was tall and as colourful on the inside as he was on the outside. Despite being the Second Deputy Head of State (in essence the Vice-Vice President), he dressed as anything but. The jacket he wore was a patchwork of tartan, reds, greens and blues, with lapels large enough to land a spaceliner on, all covering a shiny velvet purple vest which in turn barely covered his ample middle. Canary yellow cuffs matched his canary yellow and black striped trousers and up on top of his head was a wild mass of straw coloured locks going in every direction.

When he talked, Murdoch tended to be as loud as his outfit, often times spraying those nearby with saliva as his perfect BBC English diction and well refined vocabulary tended to cut people down to size rather effectively. A big man with an ego just as large, he was nevertheless a very formidable person not to be trifled with.

Now he was using his presence to great effect, staring down his impressive nose (and middle) at the cowering aide or secretary or whoever it was that stood in his way. Although a bunch of Protection Detail Agents were flanked behind him (as did a handful of aides and deputies), Murdoch definitely radiated far more power. "Sir, kindly get out of my way before I shove you out of my way!"

"He did get out of my way." Murdoch mused as the man leapt aside. Pausing to compose himself, he strode into the conference room magnificently, glaring down the length of the table, he struck a rather pompous pose. "Right. You, sir, have dragged me away from a nice supper of fried gumblejack and foie gras. This had better be important!"

Azeilma sat impassivly, looking at the man with enhanced eyes. They took note of things the humans wouldn't even be able to see, Weight, height, any Martial skills he had. The many things shown in the way he stood, the way his face went, the speed of his Pulse, any medical conditions he had. Most of these where put on display to the right of Azeilma's feild of vision, while he studied the man in front of him. After a few seconds, he spoke.

"Hello." He said, standing while keeping his hands on the desk. "I am glad you could come so quickly. I am here to inquire the real name of Samuel Ryan Cooper." there was a pause as with a few quick manipulations of the gravity around the man by the computer, he was forcably seated while anyone else was blown out of the room. Behind them, the door closed, and then following, locked.

Azeilma smiled, looking at the sitting figure opposite him. "Now Murdoch...tell me what exactly you hoped to learn by sending a spy into the Imperial Authority? And tell me why you didn't think we would find him?"

"I suppose for much the same reasons you sent a spy to Ravolox." He pulled out a large manila folder from out of nowhere and slid it across the table. "Your own spy we caught several weeks ago. He's comfortable and in a secure area, though I think that your man received far better treatment than mine." His face hardened. "Kindly do not insult my intelligence, sir.

"The Regime of Adejaani may have fallen into decadence, our citizens fighting for our Imperial Crumbs, but we are not so simple and ignorant as people make us out to be. I should ask you, sir! We were first on Ravolox and we kindly welcomed you in with arms wide open. We exchanged embassies and trade, our peoples mingled. What have we done to incur your spies?" He asked softly.

Azeilma took the folder, and began scanning through the pages. With a quick glance he knew that there was something wrong with this. he looked up and smiled, a look on his face.

"Firstly, your agent knew the risks, its a shame he joined the Imperial Authority, otherwise we wouldn't have had to kill him." he sighed. "Pity, despite being a spy, he was usful to the Service, but this matters not. The Spy you caught wasn't from this agency, he got sent from higher up to act as a decoy to hide my own operations." He looked over the folder. "I fid it rather irritating they felt the need to do so actually, but I had no say in the matter."
