Bloco'yce would be honored to host the First annual Winter Olympics in its facilities, and is prepared to do so. We have been preparing the slopes of nearby Mount Effinsteep for casual skiing, and have also begun to stake out new courses on the Mountains eastern side, and we hope that the athletes have shock-absorbers in their boots, as well as very strong bones. In the ravine created by the mountain, a deep crack known as The Pit, is Bloco'yces half-pipe, which is serviceable year-round, because there's only one type of weather in northern Bloco'yce, especially in the colder months, like these.

Within Bloco'yce is the large and old-fashioned Bloco'yce Stadium, a structure originally built as an opera-house, except it was built by architects from Raging Penguins - who always get everything wrong - and they forgot to build the roof, stage, and the proscenium arch, so it was converted into a track and field stadium. Which, incidentally has been used only by small children building massive ice sculptures, because it's never warm enough to run. It's capacity is estimated to be around 82,910, but it's probably even higher after the recent installation of the outer balcony, which runs around the circumference of the Stadium, and can be used by around 400 people, max.

In addition, there is the newly built Tuks Ice Centre, which is basically a building built around the normal ground conditions of Raging Penguins in order to make a profit. It serves as a spacious, multi-functional ice rink, which can hold up to 66,800 people, and additional standing space in the balconies for those irritating people who arrive late. Or just smell funny.

The Nordic Skiing events will be held around Bloco'yce, starting from the edge of the Olympic Village, from inside the unfinished Bloco'yce Theatre for the Performing Arts, which has had its seats installed before tha actual structure was finished, which is typical of our architects. The last time we built something of any actual worth was after we kidknapped an architect from Yesnono, and forced him to build a train station.

The Olympic Village is currently being built, in a cheap, efficient, environmentally-friendly way. We plan on building a minimum of 8,000 well furnished, large, warm, and stable igloos, which have been built in front of Bloco'yce by hundreds of skiers from around the country during the highlight of Bobsleigh season. If at all necessary, there is more than enough snow and ice to build many, many more igloos, each of which can hold at least two people comfortably.
Tourist accommodations can be found in the many inns and motels which can be found in and around Bloco'yce. There are even some large Hotels, which were built when the people of Raging Penguins still held that insane hope that people might actually want to visit a land of ice, snow, and icy snow.
There are also last years igloos which can be restored and set up as spectator accommodations.
Reporters and news organizations have had several special igloos set aside for them: The Bigloos. Yes, it's a cheesy, ridiculous name, but what can you expect when you put that sort of thing into the hands of private enterprise?
As its name suggests, they are big. Big enough to house at least a hundred people each, along with water-tight storage igloos for their equipment, and those people they insist on carrying around, the cameramen.

In the event of some sort of threat, the Bloco'yce Police Force, which, being just about the only rewarding job around, is quite large and well trained, will stand by, as well as trained Troglodytes, which have been trained by security experts as well as being read aloud "Meatshielding For Dummies™". There is also a large and experienced group of Troglodytes guarding Athletes equipment, particularly around the Bobsleigh sheds.
In addition, squads of raging penguins have been organized as an anti-terrorism group, specializing in the maddened, single-minded, violent incapacitation of a given target.
We also expect that the Raging Penguins Military will be standing by.

While many travelers may be wary of Bloco'yce Airlines, and the Airport in Bloco'yce, there is a safer alternative. In the city of Kindafrosti, the airport has less ice on the runways, although it is considerably further away from the location of the games, but you can rent a car, or take the train up there.

I have several scorinators lined up for many of the Winter Sports, and although I may need help with one of the sports, it is unlikely. While I have little prior experience with running a Sports Role play, I have already tried out the scorinators I created, and they appear to work quite well.
