I've been thining about doing an RP based on the Legend of Zelda video games. My idea for this is that it would take place a few years after the end of The Legend of Zelda: The Ocarina of Time. Ganandorf has been overthrown, and Zelda has claimed her right to the throne of Hyrule. Without Ganandorf to lead them, the Gerado have fallen to anarchy. Zoras' Domain has thawed out, the Goron population is recovering, a new Deku Tree is growing, and Link has returned after a while to Hyrule.

With Ganandorf locked away, it looks like every thing is turning out fine. Eventually, however, a Hylian named, um, uh, let's say Billy-Joe, has stolen the Master Sword. Now he has evil plans to rule the world.

I would like to keep this as much as in the world in Legend of Zelda as possible. You can submit other kinds of characters, but I think we should probably stick to one of the folloing races:

Hylian(Non-magical elves)
Goron(rock-people)
Zora(fish-people)
Kokiri(kids for ever)
Sheika(ninja-like warriors)
Deku(wooden buisinessmen who live in holes in the ground)
Skull Kid(funky little dancing forest-spirits)
Gerado(female dessert-dwelling theives)
Fairy
Great Fairy
Korok(wooden person)
Talking Owl
Talking Frog
Stalfos(skeleton monster)
ReDead
Lizalfos(Don't know why you would want to use the last few, but you can if you want to.)

if you fix up the plot a little bit, I'm in. May I suggest Ganon? Not ganondorf but ganon. The evil, trident wielding pig demon in the first few games.

If you want to get down to it, there are many races(ie Stalfo, Octo, ect)
Also Ganon(according to the LoZ Occarina of Time(OoT) chronos) is Gandorf possessed/warped by the corrupted power of the Triforce of Power. Also, Majories Mask follows shortly after OoT.

Ganon was actually ganondorf's master. Ocarina took place years after certain games, like link to the past, minish cap, and four swords adventures. Ganon was a man named ganondorf, but the ganondorf in OOT was just a puppet, if you will.

And I believe that Ganon and Ganondorf are the same being, just seperate incarnations. In OoT, Ganon, is the deformed giant pig thingy that is created when the Triforce of Power possesses Ganondorf, we all know that. As for the whole, Ganon(from previous stories) was Ganondorf's(from Oot) master, I'm not to sure that's correct. I do however, reserve the right to be completely and totally wrong. Also, Lizalfols could kick serious ass if their movements weren't as predictable as in OoT.

Your storyline does need a bit of CPR. Perhaps RPing the classic Ganon vs. Link, with our own little twisted twists?

I'd be interested in such an RP. Are we going to replace the existing Zelda characters in addition to our own?

Tried this RP before. Never got off the ground.

He would be King Goron by now.(exept that they call their kings "Big Brothers") But he is taken by Khiandiost.

That seems very, very, very unlikely, but NS is not the place for the labyrnthine timeline arguments of the Zelda series. ;)

Also, the desert warriors are Gerudo, and the shadow people the Sheikah.

I think most Zelda fans see the Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask to be the definitive versions, with some saying that the Windwaker takes place a couple of centuries after.
