For those of you who haven’t seen this before, Heroes in Atrox is a super hero RP. For those of you who have seen this, the plot has been overhauled. Here’s the basic idea:

Atrox City is massive, around the size of New Jersey. It’s residents include humans and most other races, excluding elves and angels. Which is not to say your character cannot be an elf or angel. The Slayer Project, Atrox’s major source of law enforcement, is hiring vigilantes and mercenaries as a way of testing the new “Vigilante Clause” they hope to add to the law.

At the same time, a renowned chemist is enlisting the aid of any villains he can find to help him pull the ultimate prison break. He has been asked by the extremely wealthy Cult of Kzano to free their leader. The promised reward is substantial, both for him and any accomplices.

That’s the story in a nutshell. It will become more complex as the story develops, of course. I’m looking for six heroes and six villains, including the ones for whom I’ve reserved spots. Each RPer is allowed one hero, one villain, or one of each. I’ll be judging their power level, so I may ask you to change them.

Here are my characters:
Good Guys:
Name: Alexander Davidson
AKA: Crusader
Age: 19
Appearance: 5 ft, 11 in. Bleached blond hair, left eye is blue, right eye is a red cyber implant. Dressed in boots, gloves, pants, and jacket (all white). His right arm is tightly wrapped in white cloth and his face is almost completely hidden by the greek helm he wears; the parts that can be seen are badly scared. A pair of metal wings sprout from his back.
Abilities: Flight and bulletproof wings. Also, his right arm and eye are mechanical.
Weakness: In addition to normal human weaknesses, Alex is extremely reluctant to use his mechanical arm which, in addition to enhancing his strength, can deploy a long and very sharp blade.
Bio: Alex lived as good a life as the middle class can in Atrox. He was even lucky enough to become involved with Fiona Sycox, the daughter of one of the wealthy elite. Unfortunately, her father got on the bad side of D Corp. Alex was driving Fiona home when he was forced off the road by a hit man. Next thing he could remember, he was flying the skies of Atrox as Crusader.

Name: Jezebel Sarrow
AKA: Agent Sarrow
Age: 21
Appearance: 6 ft, 0 in. Long black hair pulled into a tight braid and violet eyes. Jezebel dresses in tight leather outfits that would look perfectly at home in [u]The Matrix[/b].
Abilities: Enhanced speed, strength, and reflexes. Very skilled with both firearms and the large, butter knife like sword she carries.
Weakness: Normal weaknesses
Bio: Jezebel is a full-blood demon, hardened by life as a street orphan. At a young age, she joined The Slayer Project and quickly became their poster child.

Bad Guys:
Name: Dr. Jacob Snider
AKA: Dr. Wolf
Age: 48
Appearance: 5 ft, 6 in. Yellowed, wolf-like eyes and black hair now streaked with gray
Abilities: Werewolf/chemistry wizard
Weakness: Silver (though not always)
Bio: As a world-renowned chemist and professor with a beautiful young wife, Jacob was at the top of his game. Then came the fateful camping trip in which he was bitten. He poured all of his time, energy, and money into finding a cure. Soon, the later was all used up and he was forced to enter Atrox’s underworld with a slue of anti-silvers for his fellow lycans and transformation inducing drugs for everyone else.

Name: Amy Snider
AKA: Gel
Age: 36
Appearance: 5 ft, 4 in. Amy has brown hair and eyes while Gel has fiery red hair and vivid green eyes.
Abilities: Shape shifting
Weakness: Can only assume forms which have the same mass as herself
Bio: The lovely wife of Dr. Wolf, Amy met her future husband when he was her teacher in college. Even back then she was a little... off. She was, however, very hot. This fact alone is why, even when Amy developed multiple personality disorder, Jacob stayed with his wife. Once he was bitten, the doctor tried to create a serum to protect his wife when he lost control. He succeeded, although there were some rather nasty side effects.

Age: 320 (Proportional to 16)
Species: Ni-Fel*
Attributes: Black/Red hair, eyes(depends on mood), lean/somewhat muscular build, height(5'4"-5'6"**), Small wings, tail, ears(dog-ish, on top of head)
Special abilities: Minor ability to alter reality, stronger/faster/tougher than appearence indicates.
Weaknesses: Very short attention span, can be harmed in normal fashion
Weapons: Retractable claws/fingernails, teeth, what-ever's handy.
Background: Niri, as tradition for her people, has begun wander, looking for an Adventure. Until such time as she has had a proper Adventure, she may not return home, and thus can be quite odd, and irrational at times.
Behavior: Ni-Fel have, at times been compared to humming-birds on a sugar rush, inveriably, the humming-birds are offended by this comparison.
Affiliation: Good
Has a semi-intelligent, companions, akin to a six-legged mountain lion.

ooc: * Ni-Fel, are what many would consider 'demons', thought they are simply a race that grows in power/strength ect, but not wisdom/maturity as they age and thus are generally unwelcome, as they do a tend to leave a path of destruction/chaos in thier wakes.

** Because of 'hyper-activity', no one has ever been able to get an accurate height measurement of a Ni-Fel

I may not have explained this well enough: I am holding spaces for the above mentioned people. However, anyone is free to submit a character for the remaining spaces. Tuesday any space I have holding which have not been filled will be opened to anyone. Wensday I'll compile the finale teams. In the mean time, I'll ask questions about characters and make suggestions in order to flesh out well-developed groups.

I'd like to start this off by saying that I love the way you tried to underline "The Matrix" and make it bold at the same time DP. It show's a great mastery of BBC code. On that note, do you ever find yourself talking faster than you think?

Name: Oddler Nitesi
AKA: Odd-Eye
Age: Meaningless
Appearance: Tall (Around 6'2"), with bright purple hair sticking, for the most part, straight up, God only knows why. Has a long, slightly curved scar through his right eye. Wears dark armor and long cape; black on the outside, dark red on the inside. Wields a large scimitar, shaped from a massive slab of lab-manufactured diamond (which has all the qualities of naturally-occurring diamonds, but I don't have to pretend he found one large enough to carve this sword out of). Diamond, due to its state as hardest of all materials, is an extremely useful base for a sword.
Abilities: Control over Electric-based elementalism, Super speed (which, in turn, depletes stanima pretty fast), and, due to an extreme case of what he calls "acute schizophrenia," his subconscious is often projected onto inanimate object (IE: PA systems, cacti, channel 12 news reporters on TV, etc.).
Weaknesses: Massive pains of remorse and regret due to his hand in the destruction of his homeland: Matakarma. Also noted are his schizophrenia and stanima. It should be noted, though, that he is not altogether human.
Short:rolleyes: Biography: Oddler was being trained at the Pure Facility, a Matakarman institution which trained persons gifted as he was for military conflict and leadership when he found out that he was the reincarnation of the greater devil Odd-Eye who had sworn at his death that his reincarnation would be a great hero. Not long after that revelation he was made aware of a plot of the new Lord Commander of Matakarma, Trent Samoht, along with the Whole Loop Corporation to shut down the Pure Facility and destroy all evidence of its existance. Before the facility was shut down by the Whole Loop Corporation's forces, Oddler escaped with two of his friends, and, aided by the mysteriously powerful Mitula, he made his way to the capitol of Matakarma. There, atop Matakarma tower, he fought against Trent Samoht, his two friends and Mitula falling along the way. Finally, he overcame the Lord Commander, only to find out the truth. Mitula was the leader of the Whole Loop Corporation, she had destroyed the Pure Facility not Trent, and she only needed to get rid of the Lord Commander and create a common enemy for the people to appoint her their leader. Oddler fled the nation, only to hear what Mitula did to it on various news reports in many different countries. Since then he has wandered the lands looking to fullfill his own prophecy and become the great hero.

Abilties: Tecnomagic

Weapons: His magic, one pistol, as well as a energy blade that comes out of a bracer on his left forarm.
Appearence: Shaggy, dark brown hair. Usually clean shaven. His clothes are utilitarian then fashinable. However, he does have a brown leather jacket that he wears a majority of the time. His pockets are stuffed with bits of wiring and other magical oddbobs that he has found over the years. His nickname becomes aparent when you see him, his eyes are golden with black pupils.
Background: At a young age Eric began showing magical aptitude. However, his parents did not understand what was happening to their child. They were brave but after an offer came to "help" Eric with his problem, they felt they had no choice but to accept. The thinktank did not want to help Fredrick, instead they tested him relentlessly to see if they could activate magic in other personal. Eventually he broke free and killed a majority of the thinktank personal. He has been living as a paranormal investigator ever since.
Behavior: Eric is a very cynical person. For him it takes a long time to trust people. He is introverted and likes to make sacastic joke. However, for anyone who is willing to work past the sarcasism and the cynisism, he will open up to. For him the only sign of trust he can give is to tell a person his true name.

*Eric's magic manifests itself as technomagic. His primary foci are an advanced laptop, a desktop at home, and a set of VR gloves and glasses.

And now, DP, I give you something no-one's seen before, all right, you've seen some of it before, but that just had to be done. As much as I loved the complete insanity of him, The Baron was an unfortunately dull character.

Name: Narine Dadayadan (That's NAH-REE-NAY DAH-DIE-YAH-DAHN)
AKA: Volcannon
Age: 23
Appearance: Hot. Pity she has no social skills. But damn is she hot. When that beer commercial (coors?) says the immortal line "and twins" it was inspired by Narine. Black hair. Dark brown eyes. Somewhat hispanic-looking, but not in the illegal sense. Everyday clothing is practical and unflattering, general encompasses some smock action.
Abilities: A powerful Mech suit. Doppleganger (limit two), however, since she hasn't figured out how to get her suit (or any clothing, for that matter) to doppelgang with her, she doesn't use it much. She's also a fairly genius bio-chemist.
Weakness: Her mech suit is largely designed around fire. Said fire is largely designed around gas tanks on her back. Armored as they are, gas tanks, in general, pose threats. Due to the ammount of studying time she spent in school trying to become a bio chemist, she completely lacks any social skills. Also, it turns out, doppleganging gives the enemy a bigger target, as damage is felt evenly by each body.
Short Biography: Hired straight out of college by the Greater Initiative Corporation (GI Corp) to help design a new mech suit for in league with the Greater Initiative for Holy Armaments and Defenses (GIHAD) subcompany. Her tests with the suit gave her a taste for power which was never fully satisfied. Before the suit went into production, she took all the plans, the suit prototype and a fair sum of money, destroyed the lab, made a few modifications to the suit and has since wreaked havoc on many a city.
The suit itself will be described in greater detail come the RP. DP, I'll asume, knows what I'm alluding to anyways.
Affiliation: Evil (so long as it gives her the greater power)

It's funny actually; when I was creating the characters I wanted Metallicon to be good and Nightcat (which I haven't decided if it is her official AKA yet) to be bad, but as I chose their pictures, abilities, and all that, I realized that they should be reversed.

Appearance: Dressed in a black suit and Fedora that matches his black hair. Bright, somewhat creepy green-silver eyes.
Abilities: Although he does posess slightly enhanced speed and is a decent fighter, J.A.Z.Z depends on his weapons to get by. He carries a mysterious acoustic weapon hidden inside a Saxophone that can blast down steel walls and blow apart humans like paper-mache. He also packs a powerful revolver and a hidden knife.
Weakness: Normal Human Weaknesses
Bio:Largely unknown. It is known that he was a formidable musician in his younger years, but his career eventually slid downhill and he turned to crime to pay the bills. J.AZ.Z. is intelligent, unpredictable, and rarely speaks unless he needs to.

No, no. My bad. I only just glanced over it and thought that "acoustic weapon" was the end of the sentence. I see it all there now. Again, my mistake.

Question 1:Yes, but not very well. The sax will need to be pointing directly at the target, and if it is aimed too high, it will overshoot. It also takes quite a bit of lung power to operate the thing.

The whole Paper-Mache thing is an extreme; only in the rarest cases will J.A.Z.Z. actually summon the force to blow someone in half. Usually the target will just get knocked by a nasty sound wave or sonic boom and be flung around. Painful and hard to avoid, but direct death won't happen too often.

Aka: "Guardian Angel" (The Guardian for short)
Age: 23 (looks older)
Affiliation: Semi-Good
Appearence: Walks around in a white cloak with black trim. Carries a big sword (think Cloud Strife). Long, messy, drak grey hair. pitch black eyes. wraps his black wings around himself under claok so they do not draw attention to him. Under the cloak he has cultesq tatoos that he picked up in his journies, they all mean something to him.
Abilities: Limited Precognition (unnatural reflexes), Super-human hearing, has wings and can fly, Developing psychokinesis
Weakness: Blind, normal human weaknesses, psychokinesis not yet controllable
Bio: After a long line of inter-breeding, Cylaen is the product of demons and angels who have bread with humans. This unfortunate disposition has left him completely blind. He uses his ears and 'sixth sense' to know his surroundings. His parents were killed when he was five and he was forced by his environment to develop early. After traveling the world looking for a purpose, he came back to his home still lost and confused. Because of crime and the differences between the races, children have been abandoned on the street. Cylaen devotes himself to protecting the children of Atrox. The urban myth of the "Guardian Angel" has become a popular tale among the orphanages of the city. But Cylaen's past is catching up to him. As his powers develop, Cylaen is losing control of his mind and they will soon take him over.

Aka: Shadow

Affiliation: Thief, low end criminal
Appearence: looks like a human. wears black clothes to hide in the dark and uv blocking goggles
Abilities: fast, stealthy (able to trick peoples senses into believing noone is there), night vision
Weakness: blinded by direct light
Bio: A half-breed demon. Abandoned as a child, Kev was left on the steet to fend for himself. he became extremely good at stealing. prefers to be alone, but is for hire as an expert thief. Extremly good with security systems and other computers. Moonlights as an assasin. He will do any job for a price.

Villain

Name: Vincent Bolger
AKA: Tuna Melt
Age: 37

Appearance: A mere shell of his former human self, Tuna Melt is a tall and extremely thin skeleton with large mounds of pasty, stark white flesh clinging to his frail body. Gaping holes where normal flesh used to be reveal muscle tissue and bone, and expose Bolger for what he really is; a walking, talking zombie. He has no nose and only one ear, and his teeth are all yellow, nearly rotted out of his shark-like smile. He is completely bald; radiation exterminated every inch of hair on his body, and the whites of his eyes are an unusual black, while the pupils resemble alligator eyes. Despite his deformities, Tuna Melt chooses to dress in very expensive, pin-striped suits. In fact, you'll find him wearing little else.

Abilities: Immune to radiation and extreme weather conditions (such as frigid or scorching temperatures). Could literally walk in the snow naked and not feel anything. However his main ability is his dead on aim--he can literally shoot somebody half a mile away square in the head without blinking.

Weakness: Slower reflexes than a normal human, more suceptible to broken bones. Has all other human weaknesses.

Bio: A highly toted hitman in the Atrox City underworld, Vincent Bolger was said to have been the best shot in all the state. His services were always in high demand, and he'd assassinated many a politician in his day. Bank robberies, heists, assassinations--Bolger could do it all. But a chance encounter with a super hero in a toxic waste plant he'd been hiding out in ultimately led to his downfall. Stripped of his weapons, Bolger was no match for a super human and was knocked into a vat of bubbling toxins. Atrox City thought that was the end of him, but they were wrong. Though the radiation mutated and melted Bolger's skin, he was able to escape the pit in critical condition. He was nursed back to health by an unlicensed doctor and hit the streets with a new vigor. Thugs and bosses alike called him Tuna Melt, for his face largely resembled just that. Of course, nobody called him that to his face--and if they did, they suffered a horrible death. Tuna Melt, though a well-reputed gangster, is hardly considered a powerful, crafty villain. In the right hands, though, he could be extremely dangerous.

Species:Fallen angel
Apperiance:6'3" with almost shoulder length dark brown hair he wears tied back out of his face, black eyes. He normaly dresses in very fine black or red silk shirts. He has a slim, very toned body and walks with a certain deadly grace. His wings arn't always present, he can make them come out or stay in at will. He also has the habit of smoking, it is most common to find him with a cigarret in his mouth.
Special Abilitys:Flight, extreamly quick. Stronger then most humans.
Weapons: He has 2 desert eagles but he normaly likes to use his very long katana that is able to seperate into 2 blades.(both of which he is quite good with duel wielding)
Weaknesses: Mortal, Cold. The sun hurts his eyes and slows him down a little

I'm sorry, Ranarmania, but I have to agree with them. Your character:
1.) Lacks an affiliation (Although I'm guessing he's evil)
2.) Lacks a super name
3.) has a first name that is only a modified version of your nation's name
4.) Seems too much like Tirinia's hero (and baddie)
5.) Has no motivation for evil. Wouldn't the murder of his beloved turn him to good? "Cold to the world" suggests indifference.

If you can fix the above things before another villain sneaks in, I'll consider you again. Unfortunatly, fixing those errors will probably require you to make a new character.

He ran faster than normal people. Finding this new power he tested it out, but ran into a wall. He had a massive cut on his arm, but it seemed to heal itself and faster then normal. With his new found powers he became the superhero Speedy. He became famous in his neighborhood. One day while on his normal route he noticed a fire. Running to the fire it was his house. Jonathan ran inside, but his parents told Jonathan to leave them and that they knew he was Speedy. After the fire he found out who did the fire. It was the mysterious doctor. Finding the doctor Jonathan killed him, but later found out that the doctor was a robot. The robot was created by someone named Dr. Snider. Jonathan knew that he couldn’t return to his normal live. So he turned to a life of crime. He went under the new name Quickspeed. Even though he is a villain Jonathan is still a little skeptical. Jonathan is brash and only thinks one step ahead of time.

Build: Comparativley slender compared to say superman, more of a flash's build since he doesn't rely as heavily on physical combat, even though it is a significant part of his style.
Style: No recognised form, but does not seem to be too advanced as he relies on his phasing to allow blows to pass through him, then solidify to attack with a blur of punches of kicks.
Weakness: He has become familiar enough with his gifts for the brief moment of solidity when he attacks physically not to be too much of a weakness, he has found however electriciy can affect him equally when he is phased in or out.

it's alittle bit of everything. the polt will unfold and events will push Cylaen over the edge. it could be said that for the most part it is his blended species that is doing the most psychological damage to him. his travels around the world didnt help much in the stablizing of his mind either.

He loves the life style of the rich and knows that organized crime is the easyest and fastest way to make money, and now he absolutly loves to kill.
