King Chaotik L'Awful II has been re-elected King of Chaotium. With this, Chaotik has entered his second term of government. Four years ago, Chaotik succeeded his father, king Chaotik L'Awful I, who himself ruled for twenty years, in a democratic election in which the old king refused to get voted on. King Chaotik I himself succeeded the despotic King Bob XXI The Not-So-Nice, and renamed the country from Bobland to Chaotium. As his first action, king Chaotik II has decided to open the borders of Chaotium, which his father closed twentyfour years ago to prevent invasion from icky capitalistic outlanders.
"I'm sure Dad meant well" , king Chaotik stated earlier "but there's only so much to be earned selling origami art to your neighbour in exchange for vegan-friendly hamburgers. If we stop sending all those ships that venture near our territorial waters away, we will open our market to the outside world. I don't intend to make us a corporate paradise, but the income will be crucial in improving our nation."
To further this, his Elected Royal Highness has allowed Chaotian telecommunications to begin broadcasting beyond Chaotium. This means that outlanders will soon be able to watch programs like 'Bad Times, Worse Times' . We of CNN are not sure that's a good thing.
