In today's Syrvanian Daily Newspaper, the front page headline read:
"It's over!" The article went on as follows.
In a surprise move Syrvanian riot police, lead by 800 Roman Republic Gorkhas stormed a building which housed riot inciters. After a brief firefight, where one valiant Policeman was killed, and three wounded, the allied forces took control of the entryway. After clearing out rooms of confused and befuddled anarchists, the ringleaders were finally found huddled in a closet, and were taken into custody. Syrvanian Chief of Police,
Gustav Melchovik had the following comment: “In this time of crisis, the Roman Republic was kind enough to provide 800 of their Special Forces, for a very reasonable price. Syrvania also thanks the great nation of Popeleoma Del Signe for providing riot control supplies for very reasonable prices. Without the help of these valiant nations, these riots would have gone on indefinitely.”
Once the civilian loyalist militias are provided the pay and land they were promised, Syrvania will start building once again. Also, once again, Syrvania wishes to appeal to any nation that has any surplus bulldozers or other construction machines.
