My nation's flag seems a bit...squarey.
I think I need a pattern or something on the right side but I'm not sure what exactly, any ideas?

I believe this belongs in gameplay or technical.
But, try enlogating it in the direction that makes it seem squarish. It's really up to you, try some trial and error techniques until you find what you like. It's usually accidental.

Am I wrong, or are your kinda going for a scales of justice theme? If so, you may want to think about writing "balance" in one of the top corners and "justice" in the other.
