Righto. This is going to be an RP based in the early 1900's. A group of men and women are taking an expedition to search for the fountain of youth in South America. Of course, to spice/spruce things up a bit, there will be some unexpected things along the way. I am intending for this to be a combination of a horror RP and an adventure RP. I would like to have four or five nations besides myself, playing one or two characters each in this. If your interested, just post an info sheet on your character. The following can be your template, or you can use your own.

Height: 6'2"
Weight: 198 lbs.
Hair Color: Brown hair covered by an Indiana Jones style hat
Eye Color: Hazel eyes
Background: He is an American gun slinger and an adventure seeker by nature and a personal bodyguard by trade. He carries a whip and a pair of pistols in the holster. He is not adverse to company or strangers but he never works with a partner. Currently he has been hired by Alexia Scarlett, the spoiled rich daughter of the man funding the exploration for the Fountain of Youth.

Name: Reinhard Speer
Age: 20
Sex: Male
Height: 5'11"
Physical description and/or picture: Blond hair and blue eyes
Background and other information on the character: At seventeen left his family and joined the French Foreign Legion. Jack fought bravely in North Africa went the fort was surronded. The arab warriors attacked and entered the fort. Reinhard the only one with a Luger brought down twenty men. The fort was saved and Reinhard became a Lieutenant. After three years in the Legion he came back to Germany. He carries a two Luger pistols. Hired by Jim Harding to be his body guard on his trip threw the Brazilian Rain Forest.

Age: 42

Sex: Male

Physical description and/or picture: Definitely overweight, he weighs 230 pounds. Slightly graying brown hair. Very tan skin. Hazel eyes.

Background and other information on the character: Jim Harding has been a follower of the Fountain of Youth lore for most of his life, starting when he first read of it in a book at the age of 12. He has read countless books and attended many a lecture concerning it. He finally thinks he may have an idea as to where it is located, deep in the heart of a rainforest in Brazil, South America.



Name: Beto Chavez

Age: 17

Sex: Male

Physical description and/or picture: A fairly small boy, weighing only 136 pounds. A native of Brazil. Black hair. Brown eyes.

Background and other information on the character: Beto has lived in the suspected jungle his whole life. He has an intimate knowledge of the rainforest and is the guide for the group.

Physical description and/or picture: Lightly built, long flowing brown hair, wears an off white button up shirt, khaki pants, and a leather satchel in which he keeps his note books, sketch books, and water.

Background and other information on the character: Freshly graduated from Grad. School, Dr. Jackson has a PHD in archeology. Hoping to shine some light on the legend of the fountain of youth, he accompanies the party into the jungle.

The obligatory sexy but kinda snobbish rich girl whose father is paying for the expedition. Hope you don't mind, Khiraebana.

Physical description and/or picture: A slender girl, with an hourglass figure and long plantinum blond hair. Her blue eyes are soul piercing.
Background and other information on the character: Alexia is the daughter of the man who's group is paying for Mr. Harding's expedition. Although originally Alexia wasn't supposed to know about, she has her way of snooping and finding out such things.
The first chance she got, she left her mansion and snuck onto the boat carrying Mr. Harding and company. A spoiled girl who's used to getting her way as well as using her father's money to get that way. She's rich and knows it, and isn't afraid to throw that fact in people's faces.
Although, she's about to find out that in the Brazilian jungles, her father's money doesn't ammount to much...

Wait... is he French or German? Or was he a German who defected?

He's German. Reinhard joined the Legion to get away from his parents and to see other parts of the world.

lol Sure. She's definately going to need someone to protect her rich behind. I dunno though. If Alexia hires him, she's more likely to treat him like a personal man servant then a body guard. If Irvine likes to hear, "Oh Man servant, fetch me another cup of tea, yes?" Then sure, let's go for it!

Well he wouldn't have much of a choice if he was hired... unless he quit, and that wouldn't be very smart in the middle of the jungles of brazil.

Or maybe... he will kidnap her and hold her for randsom :D I kid, I kid.


It sounds good to me. Makes for an interesting way of getting my character into it as he isn't a doctor/scientist nor does he know anything about the fountain of youth (besides tales) or the jungle.

But you do realize that the French Foreign Legion is... French. And the French fought against the Germans in WWI.

Ok, I think that I am going to start this RP by making a post with Jim discovering what he believes to be the location of the Fountain of Youth. He will then send out telegrams which, you people can handily recieve. That method work for everyone?

A young male out for adventure. Worked hard and long hours in an effort to raise enough money to travel, and overheard of this 'adventure' and decided to change his plans.

I.E. Jack follows Alexia into the bar, and notices the group, recogizing one of the men there as his comrade from the 'Nam. He goes over and they discuss movies, life in the world, and so such.

Well guys, I'm sorry to say this, but I really have to back out of this. If you guys can keep it going, thats great, but I find that I just don't have the time nowadays. Again, I'm really sorry I've gotta do this, but I have to. I wish it could have gotten further, and I hope to RP with you guys someday in the future when I actually have free time.
