It's great to see some top performance amoungst the players and to see that some players can hold the beast known as 'mexicona national'.
It's also good to see that the tour is both male & female and to see that one of my players Lucy Ox is tied for first after two rounds. She is at -7 for the tournament after shooting a 65. This included two eagles and three birdies on the first 12 holes.

1. Lucy Ox 65 -7

Round 3 was in even better weather conditions than the previous round. A perfect blue sky with a slight cool breeze was just right for some of the players. Although FPlayer 2 shot an 80 and is at 9 over after three rounds.
He landed in deep trouble on the 15th, after finding his ball in thick rough, he then pitched it too short & into a water hazard that guards the heavily sloped green. He also found a nasty score for that hole.

OCC: Paul Greenwood 72 E & John Jacobs 72 E
Both players have remained at even par since the start of Round 1. Staying at Par on the Score Board is often a safer option on a mean course, but this course is relativly simple to master and has not yet been affected by Wind or bad weather that is predicted tommorow!
Unless Paul & John, birdie & eagle every hole tommorow they can only really stay put on the score board at second last place. Money Wise, there looking at around $15,000.
Geoff Rio is also tied for 7th and is at Even Par. Unlike the last event in which he placed second, Rio had a bad start Round 1 on the 3rd and posted a 8, but several birdies got him back to Even Par, in which he has remained for the last three rounds....

On the final day of 'the heritage' wind blew hard, and nearly every player shot one birdie or remained Even for their round. However William Peterson finshed at 25 under to win the event by six strokes and won $523,235 while dale newman managed to shave a few and get back to even par and win last place $13,139, 25 strokes behind Peterson.

Next Event: Sony Open - Shearwaters National
Held: 9th Jan.2006

First Prize: $772,359
Cut: 10 Strokes behind leader

Shearwaters National, after going major renovations, is back, offering a 'new' sort of challenge.

The IPGA is considering new possibilities on tour. If approved in the Discussion Thread, the IPGA will make greens slower, and having the speed used on tour over 25 years ago. A Shearwaters offical said Pros are always playing on courses that are so challenging, that soon, there wont be challenging. They have just pushed the limit to far. Fairways may become not as tight, rough will still be thick. This may become a new challenge, the results will be alot closer than before. Now thats a challenge!

OCC: The Scores remained very unsual after a fine day, but was interupted by heavy winds. The cut is to be made tommorow for those not within 10 strokes behind the leader. There needs to be some improvement!

Overgooi has made a comeback this season after reigning last season. He didnt to good to start this season but may be heading for first place at the Sony Open.
