OOC: Join it. Go ahead, I don't mind. If I didn't want people to post, I would just write a book about this myself.

IC:
zombie (zom-be),n., 1 (in voodoo) a. the body of a dead person given the sembalence of life, but mute and wil-less, by a supernatural force, usually for some evil purpose.
-The Random House Dictionary of the English Language

The Zombie Alliance, twenty-five miles outside the capital city of Necro, in a cave. December 10, 5:53, local time.
Twenty-five people wandered the cave, men women and children, and only two or three of them were not zombies. The rest had already been fumed with evaporated Xxargan potion. These, like most of the people in the land's cities, had fallen into a coma-like state for about six hours. They, however, had been strong-willed enough to resist the concotion's mind-altering effects.

Tann was one of them. They, and the few who had escaped the bombs, had fled here. Tann, fifteen years old, had already died. The only thing was that he had come back.

Voodoo had been common in this land for as long as anyone could remember, and the king had been experimenting with Xxargan potion for years now, seeking to eliminate its side-effects of rendering its victems blubbering idiots. Obviously, he had managed to eliminate this issue. Now it had only its desiriable effect: turning people into mindless slaves. Two hours ago, King Pau had announced that he would, from then on, be called "Lord Necromancer."

In the cave, someone said,"Ssh! Someone is coming!"

OOC: My plan is that the "someone" mentioned by the fellow in the cave is you, fellow NS'r. I'm going with modern-tech, but you can have someone with some other tech level if you want to. Just so long as your character would be able to reach the Zombie Alliance, but not so much as that s/he, it, whatever, would be able to blow up planets by pressing a button on a remote control.

If you haven't already figured yet, I am going to be posting as a fifteen-year-old "zombie" named Tann.

The man quickly staggered into the cave, as though running from some sort of pursuer. Other individuals can be heard rushing past as though they were trying to hunt him down, but they passed quickly.

The man seemed to be pulled from somewhere in the past. His pants, shirt, and vest were all made of the same simple cloth, while his footwear was simply multiple layers of it bound together. The clothes were varying shades of brown, except for the green shirt. He held a small knife with the emblem of a glowing tree on it.

He smiled at first after his pursuers were gone, but it quickly flipped when he saw the others in the cave. He stiffled a scream, and held the knife out defensively. "If there a-are any among you that are still of living mind, s-say so now."

Outside lazer blasts could be heard, with the occasional "Ack ack ack!" Soon a Mongoloid ran into the room, not noticing the human who had run in or the caves dwellers. He leaned up against the cave wall, clutching his "Atomo-Pistol 3000" tight. He leaned outside, watching the....unliving outside. No matter how many he killed, there was always more. They had his rifle and Quetzacoatal only knew what they might do with it.

As he sucked in his pure nitrogen air inside his helmet, until he finally laid eyes on his fellow cave dwellers. He whipped out his pistol, an moved from target to target. He didn't fire, for he was afraid to do so...

ooc: Not Black Scourge thread?
OOC:Nope, sorry. When the IC for the Black Scourge is made, I'll post a link to it on the OOC thread. Not saying that your robot dude can't be in this one anyway.
Also, everybody, my zombies don't look like traditional zombies because they were only dead for a matter of hours, so they might stink a bit, but other than that, decay didn't really have time to set in.

IC:Tann did not know what to make of this strange, big-headed thing that had just entered the cavern, or the oddly-dressed man next to...it. They were obvioulsy foreigners. A woman a ways behind Tann screamed as the alien monster began pointing its plastic death-implement at random people.

The human man asked, with fear in his voice, if any of them were still "of the living mind."

"We all are," Tann said, "That's why we are here."

A man standing next to Tann slaped him in the back of the head and said, "Moron! Don't you know anything about subtrefuge?"

Gah! The beasts were speaking! He checked his Transl-O-Box to see if it had picked up what they had said. It blinked, and so it had. He pressed a few buttons and began to speak. "You Fleshpiles! Are you of the un-infected group? Or should I fire on one of you too find out?"

The man sighed in relief and leaned against the wall. His shock at the bulb headed creature had been shared with that of his previous ordeal involving the living dead, so he didn't react as much to him. However, when he began threatening to kill people, he gestured for attention.

"I think we are all refugees here. I suggest we avoid trying to kill one another." Even if the majority of us are apparently abominations against the core values of the Conclave.
