Ok people, This is going to be an RP based around my nations school system. Baisically creating a new character is going to be the best way to work this.

The unusual thing about my nations school system is that they kidnap children from there parents at a very young age, usually around four or five. From here the 'students' will enter an intense military training regime until they turn about nine. After they turn nine they will then enter individual training with a soldier in a similar field to what they will be going into. I like to keep whatever fields open incase someone comes up with a really good idea, and these fields are subject to change, but here's a small list.

Scout/sniper
Frontlines
Medic
Martial Arts
Special Forces
Torture/Interrogation
-and whatever you can come up with

All of these fields are open to all interested, except Special Forces. This has a special requirement that I just feel most people will like. I Usually RP my nation as slightly Post-modern tech. Nothing terribly past where we have advanced now, just having the slightest thoughts as to how genetic engineering. All Special Forces ops are reguired to be genetically engineered, but since it's really new technology, they will have flaws. An example of my favorite one is Valerie. She Can hela wounds such as lacerations and broken bones at a very fast rate, and her senses are slightly better than a normal person, but to pay for these 'gifts' she doesn't deal with people well, and has mental problems. I have plenty of examples if your curious, jsut ask.

The way I want this RP to go will be starting when the child in question is still at home with their parents, and them being captured, and parents either cooperating, being killed, or something along those lines. The RP will then commence to the first day. The first day will be the start of the routine they will have for the next several years. We can then either skip around and stop in here and there, but the real kicker is graduation and the final, I have several surprises setup for this so I won't spoil them. After your student graduates he or she will be assigned to a character that has experience in the field, where they will learn from for the next several years.

Ok, now doesn't this sound fun? Well anyway, If you are interested hit a post right here, or TG me. I encourage everyone to take two students, but if you don't want to don't feel pressured into it.

There will probably be a fair amount of gore, violence and Swearing while I'm at it, so don't be surprised. If you want a charcter template, jsut give me a name, and I believe everything else will fall into place with time, and we can talk about genetical altered students if you are interested. And Don't worry, I'll let you choose what they get, as long as it is in a limit, and they have some sort of flaw to show for it.

The only real bit of info needed will be name. The rest of the info is due to change during the course of the RP

There's a certain main character of mine who has fathered several bastard children and I believe any one of them would make a fine addition to whatever force you plan to assign them to.

Hello, it's me, Arthaga Nova. Let's see, Theao, know you already. Otherwise, one, possibly two new faces, good to see. For those who don't know me, I tend to act as press secretary for NoF's OOC threads. I've been through more of these than I can remember, so yeah, I'd be happy to field any questions.

Still though, a few quick comments.

To Mercenary Soldiers: Yes, frontline is essentially your basic infantry. I'd like to say that what NoF listed in the opening post is an incomplete list. Without killing any brain cells through serious thought I can add Charm, Strategy, Demolitions, Pilot/Driver... yeah. There's alot. As to your suggestions, assassinations tend to be handled by Special Forces and Charm as well as Martial Arts. The latter of the three involves the use of swords and the like. At the risk of sounding corny, they'd be sorta like a ninja. Engineer isn't a bad idea, but the Hvy Weapons would fall under Frontline most likely, have to ask NoF on that exactly.

As to your second note, the students are NoF citizens aged 3-5 who just get snatched right out of their beds at night. No kidding.

Yes, that is correct, frontlines is general infantry. Thank you for the suggestions, they will be taken into account, and more than likely used. MA was added at request a while, so thats why it is there, that and there does seem to be some demand for it.

Applications from other nations are more than acceptable, although they would have to learn of the program first, although that shouldn't be hard considering I bet your nation has it's underground connections. Be aware that we assume no responsability if the child fails to make it through the program alive. Candidates will be dropped off by the parent.

Charm? Is this a diplomatic/secret agent type profession?

The US Army and Marine Corps infantry are typically organized in fireteams of four, two teams to a squad. They consist of a rifleman, a dedicated one; an M203 Gunner (Grenadier) that handles an assault rifle (M16 or M4 typically with a 203 underslung) equipped with a 40mm parabolic grenade launcher; an automatic rifleman (equipped with an M249 Squad Automatic Weapon, classified as an automatic rifle and sometimes as a light machinegun in .223 caliber); and a team leader equipped with a rifle much like the rifleman.

Anti-Aircraft weapons like Stingers are employed by a seperate MOS, as are the Javelin systems that smart-fire anti-tank rockets.

The Assassin was intended as more of a government-employed specialist in information theft, sabotage, and clandestine elimination of high-profile targets, not just the third one as the name might suggest. While a ninja could accomplish such things, relying on a sword and thrown weapons in today's age of automatic firearms, body-armor (special resin compounds called 'Liquid Armor' are being used to coat kevlar to make it impervious to sharp instraments. Even repeated ice pick stabs won't puncture it.), and electronic security, they might find themselves somewhat over-matched.

Yes, that is baisically what charm is. Althoguh only Females can apply to it. If you've played Metal Gear Solid 3 you should have a pretty damned good idea.

If not, Baisically they train the eligible females to get close and dirty to whomever to steal documents, assassinate people, and whatever.

Question: Do they get snatched or do they need to be donated by the parent? Little Darius was intended to be an NoF citizen, the result of a one-nighter between Ms. Williams (also an NoF citizen) and Mr. Bray (An American citizen). That ought to simplify things if the snatching was going to be the way to go.

Ah, that makes sense. Ok, other nations can donate there children, but all Nofian children are snatched. That works just as well, if not better than what I had planned.

I'd rather keep the adult instructers to those that have RP'ed in one of these before, because they know what to expect and how I like to RP this. So sorry, no, maybe next time.

All though a kind of rule of thumb I went by is no more than three main abilities with the Geneng, and I rarely go more than two. It still is experimental technology. How about you go with the faster reflexes and enhanced muscles. AN is doing the bone density one, and I'm kinda protective of the healing one with Valerie.

I had a really good one on a different forum where one could generate light, and the other acted as a light sink, in other words she absorbed light.

Post them waking up, if you want to get detailed you could go over their last memories fro home before they were kidnapped. That would work nicely.

I've decided to add in a small quirk to Rei.

NoF, feel free to have your men/whoever note it.

Whenever Rei passes through a doorway of any kind, she uses her hand to move her hair from the back of her neck, revealing her barcode for a second before letting the hair fall back.

This is common practice in Krowemoh, where all doorways are equipped with scanners that scan the citizen's barcodes as they pass, and logs it's own location as well as the time the person passed. This way any citizen can be tracked 24/7 and his/her location can be made known at any given time, down to the last door they passed through.

It's not entirely uncommon for Krowemohians to have hairdos which leave the back of the neck bare, but for those with long hair, it's common to move their hair out of the way to let the scanner scan their barcode. Also, not doing so is considered evading a Scanning, and is a very heavy crime in Krowemoh.

Rei had this drilled into her head, so it's only natural that she assumes that all doorways, be they on any Planet in the Krowemohian Empire or on Earth, are equipped with scanners and thus she needs to let them scan her barcode whenever she passes through.

Just a tiny quirk to add ontop of her slew of other quirks. :P

Sorry, I had my last midterm yesterday, and I was doing my math homework lastnight, so I didnt' get to post. I would post today, but I have watch duty until fairly late, which they switched me at the last minute. So I gotta leave for that in a few.
