edit: If you don't understand the ratings system, read link #4 in my signature. If you still have questions after reading that post, go ahead and ask.

Everyone will now be able to post her/his rosters in this thread. The rules for rosters are located in link #4 in my signature. Sarzonia and Milchama, because of the RP posting bonus, will each have 11 allocatable points to use on their overall batting or their overall pitching rating. Everyone else has ten, as mentioned in the rules regarding rosters in link #4 in my sig.

ROSTER

Pitchers (Rating: 56)
Starting Rotation
12 John Morgan (RHP): Woodstock Mountaineers Led the Sarzonia League in victories with 14 in its inaugural season and finished third in strikeouts with 100. Rating: 60
22 Charlie Palmer (LHP): Portland Fishermen Known for having the best changeup in all of Sarzonian baseball, he was named the first-ever Jim Palmer Award recipient for postseason MVP after leading the Fishermen to a Sarzonia Series crown. Rating: 55
27 Brian Edwards (RHP): Lexington Flight Despite the Flight's last place finish in the Incorporated League, Edwards was a 10 game winner (10-6, 3.11 ERA). He doesn't strike out many and relies on a sinking fastball to get ground ball outs. Rating: 54
34 Brad Baxter (RHP): Nicksia Nighthawks Baxter led the Sarzonian major leagues in wins (16), innings pitched (164) and strikeouts (142). He just pitched two days before the team assembled, so he was pushed back in the rotation. Rating: 65
40 Ken Sutcliffe (RHP): Portsmouth Pilots Sutcliffe is the veteran of the rotation, turning 36 at the end of the season. He's known for being a heady pitcher but he can still throw the ball past hitters when he has to.Rating: 46

Bullpen
32 Kenny Spencer (RHP): Saugerties Streakers Spencer is arguably the best setup man in the history of the sport in Sarzonia. He has only three saves in his career, but makes a living closing the door in the eighth inning.
29 Jay Ballard (LHP): Nicksia A specialist at getting lefthanded hitters out, Ballard made only one career start in secondary school. He threw a two hit shutout in the state championship in that start.
33 Roger Tolliver (LHP): Avalon Aeros The lefthanded long reliever for the Aeros, he led the league with most innings pitched by a reliever (82) without making a start. His 36 appearances was tied for the most among all relief pitchers.
17 Kerry Clark (RHP): Woodstock The league leader in saves with 27, Clark has a devastating curveball and fastball. He's working on developing a changup.
39 Alvin Dryden (LHP): Rypien Rhinos Dryden is the lefty closer on the national team and will alternate with Clark depending on the opponent. Dryden led all of Sarzonian baseball with 29 saves.

Position Players (starters in bold
C 10 Fred Carlton: Grovesmont Gryphons Carlton is the best defensive catcher in Sarzonian baseball. Calls a great game, threw out 41 percent of opposing baserunners. His problem: He hit .218 with only one home run.
1B 44 Hank Everly: Woodstock Led the Sarzonian League in home runs with 30 and finished tied for second in runs batted in with 95. His batting average of .269 is lower than his coaches want.
2B 8 Dewey Griffin: Avalon The sparkplug for the Aeros, Griffin led both major leagues with 34 stolen bases and nine bunt hits. He was tied for second in the league in sacrifice hits (bunts or flies).
SS 2 Chris Spontanelli: Townshend Tigers: One of the many shortstops in the Cal Ripken mold, Spontanelli led his team with 15 homers and 72 RBI. At 6'5", he's the tallest starting shortstop in Sarzonia.
3B 9 Kate Schmidt: Bristol Bears: The only female to earn a starting spot on the national team, she hit .317 to lead her team and smacked a surprising six home runs since her August callup.
LF 19 Tyrell Gordon: Portland Set a record for most outfield assists in college or high school baseball with 133. Had only two outfield assists this season when major league teams decided not to risk running on him.
CF 23 Drew Bradley: Avalon A speedster, Bradley is known for his graceful play in center and led his league in outfield assists with 10.
RF 24 Mark Dwight: Nicksia Not much with speed or a throwing arm, but Dwight specialises in being at the right place at the right time. He led the league with a .344 batting average.

Reserves
OF 36 Skip Hale Woodstock: Hale played in a career high 39 games for Woodstock due to injuries to other outfielders. He's known as the best pinchhitter in the league and can serve as the starting DH if necessary.
OF 7 Tyler Hunter Bristol: Can play either corner outfielder position, but his throwing arm is arguably the worst in the league.
C 13 Mario Salvidotti Avalon: Improving as a receiver, Salvidotti led his team with 20 home runs and 81 RBI.
IF 3 Russ Fraley Bristol Handled his demotion to reserve behind Schmidt with surprising grace and honed his skills as a shortstop so he could play short or third and is learning first base in training camp.
IF 5 Bryan Carroll [/u]Portland[/u] Extremely valuable asset to his team, he can play any position in the infield. Could serve as the emergency catcher if necessary.

OOC: Shouldn't success in the tournament also preclude how much allocatable points you get. So shouldn't Bipedal Apes get more points for winning and me for second place. While other people who posted rosters last time get some points just for participating along with the RP points?

Roster later today
ooc: I considered doing that, but in the end I decided against it since the less successful teams would probably gain just as much experience from losing as your team and Bipedal Apes gained from winning. So past performance will not give you additional points in the upcoming tournament.
OOC: I'm not exactly sure how the points allocation works for returning teams exactly... do I get 11 more points to allocate to my team?
I made an error in my previous post. Milchama, Sarzonia, Fmjphoenix, Bipedal Apes, New Montreal States, Kaze Progressa, Clavis, The Foylands, Wingarde, Tonissia, Yafor 2, and Liverpool England will each get a bonus point simply for participating in the first tournament. Also, as mentioned previously, Sarzonia and Milchama will each recieve a bonus point for their post count from the last tournament. That means that Milchama and Sarzonia will each have 12 allocatable points to spread between their overall batting and pithcing ratings (in addition to the standard 50 in each category.) The rest of the participants in the last tournament [Fmjphoenix, Bipedal Apes, New Montreal States, Kaze Progressa, Clavis, The Foylands, Wingarde, Tonissia, Yafor 2, and Liverpool England] will have 11 allocatable points to spread among their overall batting and pitching ratings. Therefore, you will only have two new points that you did not have in the last tournament.

Also, you may make any changes to your roster that you like. That is, you are not required to use any of the same players. Furthermore, you are not required to assign any of the same ratings to any of your players. You can make your roster as different [or as similar] to your previous roster as you like.

NEW MONTREAL STATES REFORMED EXPOS

Colors and logo: Same as the original. Youppi was executed by firing squad, however.

Manager: Felipe Alou clone number 3 - The experiment has been dubbed a success, and the Felipe clone has been reactivated.

The Rotation - 58 points

RHP Benny Graves (New Montreal Pirates) - After leading the Pirates to the States Series championship two years running, Graves turns his considerable guts and curveball to leading the Expos to victory in the Worlds. Rating: 61.

LHP André Fabre (Moncton Sands Barons) - Up-and-coming fireballer with minor control problems will create both strikeouts and bombs. Rating: 56

RHP Gilles St-Vaillier (Acadie Roses) - Showboat pitcher, famous for his skills both on the mound (.217 ERA) and off it (recent rock album went gold). Fires up crowds and pisses off opponents. Rating: 59

LHP Kenny Stewart (New Montreal Pirates) - Crafty veteran will provide stability to the rotation. Excellent control. Rating: 57

LHP Alexandre Thivierge (Valdemont Cavaliers) - Sole bright spot in a dismal year for the Cavaliers. Loner. Rating: 57

The Lineup - 53 points

RF Willy Godwin (St. James Scarlet Knights) - Speedster will be relied on to get on base and given green light to steal. Baserunning instincts second to none. Switch hitter, 18

LF Antoine Bedard (Pointe-Nord Ours Polaires) - Solid all-around hitter, can get on base or hit for power as needed - just what's needed to back up the impulsive Godwin. Lefty, 18

1B Jimmy Caughron (Sherbrooke Capitaines) - Rocks the ball like none other in the Ligue. Good glove as well. Righty, 20

3B Sam Baker (New Montreal Pirates) - Clutch hitter with good power to both sides of the field. Switch hitter, 18

C Timothy Green (Sorel Pingouins) - Recent destruction of home field and town seems to have redoubled intensity of this league-leading catcher. Will provide expert guidance for off-the-wall pitching staff. Righty, 20

DH Louis St-Guillaume (Acadie Roses) - Veteran slugger has gained back in smarts the half step he lost in speed and power. Lefty, 19

2B Bertrand Brault (Philemon Marins) - Half of Sailors' spectacular double-play combo. Usually at lead-off - now must show he's better at driving in runners that previously known. Righty, 16

CF Greg Pepperdine (Ville-Marine Metropolitaines) - League MVP for combination of defensive performance and bat. Coming off minor hamstring injury that will keep him in 8th slot for the time being. Switch hitter, 15

SS Jean-Marie Lemieux (Philemon Marins) - Other half of Philemon's DP combo known more for glove than bat. Lefty, 15

ooc: The schedule for the next tournament will be more similar to the other cups. The teams will be devided into eight groups of four. Each team will play a 5 game series against each other team in its group. After the completion of this round robin of 5 game serieses, the top two teams (defined as the two teams with the most games won) from each group will advance to the elimination stage. The elimination stage will be a normal playoff of five game serieses, with the winners of the serieses in each round advancing to the next round. A new facet of the second cup will be that righty batters will receive a +2 ratings bonus against lefty starting pitchers, while lefty batters will receive a ratings penalty of -2 against lefty starters. [EDIT] Furthermore, righty batters will recieve a ratings penalty of -2 against righty pitchers and lefty batters will recieve a ratings bonus of +2 against righty pitchers. Switch hitters will bat in the opposite handedness of the starting pitcher.

In this tournament, 5 stadiums will serve to host the games. Each 5 game series will play one game in each of these stadiums.

The AndiDome

Type: Double Retractible Domed Stadium with grasslike artificial turf

Capacity: 100,000

Location: Dowtown An Archia

Established: Year 15

Characteristics: Left, 100m; Left Center, 110m; Center, 120m; Right Center, 110m; Right, 100m; Wall Type, Padded; Warning Track Type, Average Distance from wall; Dirt Type, Grounded Brick; Size of Foul Territory, Average; Grounds Crew Rating, Excellent

Notes: The AndiDome was the first major baseball stadium built in An archy. It is also the largest and most state of the art. The unique dome design is worth noting. There are two retractible domes. The first is opaque. Directly above that dome is a clear glass dome. This gives the grounds crew three options with regards to the the domes. First, both domes may be open to allow for a outdoor game. Second, both domes may be closed to allow for an indoor game. Finally, the opaque dome may be open while the glass dome is closed in order to keep out the winter snow while at the same time allowing the moonlight to shine on the players and fans. The architecture of the stadium is regarded as the most beautiful of any sports complex in all of An archy. The façade attempts to capture the essential form of the snowflake and the inside is astonishingly spacious even with a sell out crowd. The effect of the field design on player performance is negligible.

Plantopia Field

Type: Open Stadium with natural grass

Capacity: 52,000

Location: Plantopia

Established: Year 25

Characteristics: Left, 108m; Left Center, 123m; Center, 130m; Right Center, 120m; Right, 110m; Wall Type, Brick with Ivy; Warning Track Type, Above Average Distance from Wall; Dirt Type, Grounded Brick; Size of Foul Territory, Very Large; Grounds Crew Rating, Very Good

Notes: Built in the Year 25, Plantopia Field is notable for its liberal use of vegetation incorporated into the façade of the stadium. Located in Plantopia, the absurdly temperate city on the east side of the island, Plantopia Field is the only purely outdoor baseball stadium in the country. The effect of the field design on player performance is significant. With the deep outfield walls and the large foul territory, pitchers tend to perform much better in this stadium. (Starting pitchers receive a ratings bonus of +3 when playing in Plantopia Field.)

Setting Sun Stadium

Type: Domed Stadium with artificial turf

Capacity: 45,000

Location: On the far west side of the island directly south of NonCitizen territory

Established: Year 16

Characteristics: Left, 85m; Left Center, 99m; Center, 119m; Right Center, 111m; Right, 100m; Wall Type, Padded; Warning Track Type, Average Distance from Wall; Dirt Type, Dirt; Size of Foul Territory, Above Average; Grounds Crew Rating; Good

Notes: With a capacity of only 45,000 fans, Setting Sun Stadium is the smallest of all five stadiums hosting this years World Cup. The unique dome design refracts the light of the setting sun creating a massive rainbow over the suburbs of Andersonville. Inside the stadium the fans enjoy the most comfortable and spacious seating in An archy. The field design has a moderate impact on player performance. The short fence in left is highly advantageous to right handed batters. (Right handed batters in Setting Sun Stadium receive a ratings boost of +2.)

The Stadium in Andersonville

Type: Retractible Domed Stadium with grasslike artificial turf

Capacity: 63,400

Location: Andersonville

Established: Year 20

Characteristics: Left, 98m; Left Center, 111m; Center, 120m; Right Center, 100m; Right, 88m; Wall Type, Brick; Warning Track Type, Below Average Distance from Wall; Dirt Type, Grounded Brick; Size of Foul Territory, Below Average; Grounds Crew Rating, Average

Notes: The Stadium in Andersonville is a very large ballpark with a retractible dome. In addition to its new function as joint host to the NSWCB, it has also been home to little league baseball games in An archy for nearly a decade. The architecture is rather plain, but the fans enjoy fairly comfortable and spacious seating arrangements. It is also the only "green" baseball stadium on the island. The field design has a moderate impact on player performance. Left handed batters perform better due to the short fence in right. (Left handed batters receive a ratings bonus of +2 when playing in The Stadium in Andersonville.)

Mountain Stadium

Type: Domed Stadium with artificial turf

Capacity: 57,500

Location: In the Anderson Mountain Range on the West side of the island

Established: Year 31

Characteristics: Left, 95m; Left Center, 104m; Center, 116m; Right Center, 104m, Right, 95m; Wall Type, Chain Link Fence; Warning Track Type, None; Dirt Type, Sand; Size of Foul Territory, Very Small; Grounds Crew Rating, Below Average

Notes: The newest baseball stadium in the country will open at the beginning of the NS World Cup of Baseball II. Notable for its location in the mountains, the architect has attempted to symbolize this unique location in the façade by designing a dome that is pointed rather than round. The effect is striking and futuristic. State of the art features in this new stadium will include video screens on the back of every seat in the stadium and luxery boxes with retractible glass windows. The field design will have a small effect on the performance of the players. The location, however, will have a massive impact on player performance. Physicists have confirmed the theory that the high elevation of this stadium (which causes the air to be very thin) will cause batted balls to travel 14% further and will cause pitchers to wear out more quickly. (All batters receive a ratings boost of +4 and pitchers receive a ratings penalty of -1 in Mountain Stadium.)

20 games in qualifying? That's still pretty long. Since nobody's being eliminated, a 4-game series for the group stage might be a better idea...with the 5-game series in all other rounds...

Yeah, and no byes in this tournament. Plus, it's not nearly as bad as last tournament. And besides, I like 5 game serieses because they allow teams to compete in every ballpark in each series, and they teams to play every one of their starting pictures in each series. Overall, this tournament should last eight weeks including the allstar series. I hope that won't be too long.

I've noticed that some of you have not provided the handedness of your starting pitchers and batters. Because of the rules changes, it will be necessary to list the handedness of the players within your roster. Any player(s) for whom you do not list a handedness will be considered right handed.

NEW RULE: VERY IMPORTANT:
Each switch hitter you have in your lineup will take away 2 rating points from from the sum of the individual ratings of your individual batters. For example, if you have an overall batting rating of 55, normally you would have 165 individual rating points to assign to your individual batters. If you decide that you want to have one switch hitter in your lineup, however, you will only have 163 individual rating points to assign to your individual batters.

Note that this rule should not discourage you from having switch hitters in your lineup. There is a definite advantage to having switch hitters. This rule was created so that the advantage would not be so extreme that you would want to make all of your batters switch hitters.

For those of you who have not posted your rosters, remember to do so by the time the tournament begins. If you do not post your roster on time, or if your roster includes any mistakes (such as accidentally assigning too many individual rating points to your pitchers), your team's performance will probably suffer.

ROSTER

Pitchers (51)

Cleon “Stop the pain” Edgarson (R)(60) : Leading Pitcher for the The warriors. Recruited into the national team due to lack of baseball players in Iesus Christi.

Charlie “Chuckup” Rogers(R)(58): Played for the Furies in the very limited baseball league in Iesus Christi. Earned nickname due to nervous vomiting he suffers from since joining the national team.

Sammy Ajax(R)(42): Recruited from the giant Iesus Cricket league by government. Isn’t sure about how baseball actually works but was known for his all roundspin in the domestic cricket scene.

Patrick “Bodyline” Hogan(L)(55): Also picked from the Iesus Cricket league. Reached fame for bodyline bowling. Suspension from cricket was looming when recruited into Iesus national baseball team. Known recently for knocking out opposing practice game player as he left the dugout.

Don Brash(40)(L): Another Iesus Cricketer pulled into the national side. Outspoken on issues of race, one law for all and the LBW law. Little Knowledge or interest in baseball.

Batters(59)

Swan “Acting War chief” Foster (19)(R): Pride and joy of the Warriors. Lead them to victory over teams like the Rifts and rangers. Deciding influence in close match verse the Orphans.

Sergio Santos(25)(R): seventeen year old starring batter for the Furies.Genuine star of the small Iesus baseballs scene. Has the skill he could probably make it in any nation. His family have a vested interest he returns with the team.

Cochise Clement(17)(L): Another Warrior. Is simply thrilled that they can come out and play with the big teams.

Hammud Masai(17)(L): The Rifts leading man with a bat. On and off the field. Works as a Policeofficer in the Capital.

Matthew “Foul Ball” Hageenought(22)(R): Strong Cricketer. Famous for the quickest doublecentury in Iesus cricketing History. Drafted into the team, but still hasn’t quite got the hang of it yet.

Nathan Asstlen(22)(R): Strong straight drive batter for the Army First XI. Seems to be getting to grips with baseball. Doesn’t have the same potty mouth as his team mate “foulball”, but then doesnt generally know what day of the week it is either.

Tom “Cowboy” McKitterick(17)(R): Turnbull AC's frontline batter. Has little experience like most of his teammates but makes up for that with ‘moxy’ and a healthy dose of what losing will mean.

Marcelino “Rembrandt” Sánchez(19)(L): A true artist for the Panzers. Noted for his precision hitting and lisp. Throws like a girl, rumoured to catch like one too.

Martin Mary McCullum(19)(R): Played for the Airforce 2nd XI before turning to baseball. Now plays for the airforce Low rider Baseball team. Cousin of the controverial Cardinal.

Some of you have made minor mistakes in your rosters. I understand that these small mistakes are very difficult to avoid, but you should correct them before the tournament begins because you will not be allowed to change them at a later date. Here are some roster mistakes that I have noticed:

First of all, everyone except Tonissia and Casari should remember to assign a handedness to each of their starting batters and pitchers. As for mistakes made in individual rosters:

- Milchama, the sum of your starting pithcers' individual pitcher ratings is only 283. With an overall pitcher rating of 57 you still have 2 addition individual pitcher rating points.

- Sarzonia, from what I can tell (You did not explicitly state your overall batter and pitcher ratings.) you have an overall pitcher rating of 55 and an overal batter rating of 54. You still have three points that you could assign to either overall rating.

- New Montreal States, the sum of your starting pitchers' individual pitcher ratings is only 280. With an overall pitcher rating of 58 you still have 10 additional individual pitcher rating points. (That could make a huge difference.)

- Beautiful Yalaluxurios, you really really need to assign rating points to your players. If you do not do this, your team will not be successful, guaranteed.

- Hockey Canada, once again, it is vital that you assign rating points to your players. The rating system is not only one of the most unique features in the NS World Cup of Baseball, it is also vitally important to the success of your team. Ask any of the participants in the last cup and they will verify the fact that neglecting to assign rating points to your team will cause you to perform very poorly.

- Tonissia, you forgot to include a DH among your batters. Also, in a related issue, you have 14 unassigned rating points available for your individual batters.

Finally, the tournament is being delayed, yet again. This time the delay is only one day. Martin Luther King Jr. Day (a holiday in the United States of America) is on Monday January, 16th, and I will probably not have access to a computer on that day. So, the tourmanent will start on Tuesday January, 17th.

Wonderful. You obviously did not notice the new rule change that has to do with switch hitters. According to this new rule, if you want to have three switch hitters, you only have 153 individual batting points (six fewer) to assign to your starting batters. Read post # 17 in this thread for an explanation.

Starting Batting Line-up, Yafor 2 East Wind

1)Rey Ibanez Position: Right Field. Age:23. Bats:Lefty. Rey is one of the best Right Fielders every to play Yaforite baseball. He started his career as a Utility Infielder, then switched to First Base. He was then moved to LEft, during a period of time when his Yaforite League team had no Left Fielder. His magnificent arm was thence discovered and he is now playing Right Field, as one of the best defensive players in Yaforite Baseball. His speed is excellent, his being in the top in steals each year. He can also hit for power. Rating: 25

2)Adolf Von Vladimir Position: Shortstop. Age: 27. Bats:Switch-Hitter. Von Vladimir is a switch-hitting shortstop who is perfect in the number two hole. He often bunt it over so that Ibanez can advance. While he is sadly lacking in the area that many call power, he often hits for average, ending each Yaforite League year with an average over .280. Rating:24

3)Anthony Walker Position: First Base. Age:25. Bats:Righty. Walker is one of the weak spots in this Yaforite Line-up. His potential is amazing, with his power well known. He has a very good eye, but he is very inexperienced. He is not built to bat third, thus his low rating comes forth. Rating:21

4)Henry Izturis Position: Center Field. Bats:Lefty. Rating:26

5)Sebastian Telemaco Position:Third Base. Bats:Switch-Hitter. Rating:22

6)Robert Fletcher Position: Second Base. Bats:Righty. Rating: 22

7)Trimiane Casey Position: Left Field. Bats: Lefty. Rating:19

8)Eric Santaro Position: Designated Hitter. Bats: Righty. Rating: 24

9)Matt Inzint Position: Catcher. Bats: Lefty. Rating: 28

2)John Rean Pitches: Left. Smart pitch locator. Rating: 65
3)Willie Jarvis Pitches: Right. Smart pitch locater with fast fastball. Rating: 61
4)Micheal Klem Pitches: Right. Good fastball, good curve. Rating: 62
5)Samuel Cledart Pitches:Right. Good fastball, locates well. Rating:63

No reason to punish people for this stuff. Remember that this thread was not to popular and some (probably like Yafor 2 aka Gupta Dynasty) did not realize it was up. Sounds reasonable to me. I honestly doubt that very many people will take advantage. And the ones who do will probably become dedicated contributers to the RP if we give them a chance to redeem themselves.

Your roster is nearly correct. However, you get an additional point to assign to your overall batter rating or your overall pitcher rating because you were in the first tournament. This could have a significant impact on your performance. If you don't see this post in time to make the roster change before the deadline (actually I'm extending the deadline, but more on that later) don't worry about it to much. It's more important just to get your roster in at all (so long as it has ratings.)

Also, Andossa Se Mitrin Vega, your roster is perfect. You don't need to adjust anything.

Finally, the deadline for posting rosters and/or making adjustments has been extended. I figured, since the tourney is being delayed (yet again) it would only be fair to give all of you more time to get your rosters in. This time, there is no set date for the deadline. It depends on when Milchama feels ready to cohost the tournament. I'm not sure when that will be. Just remember to be patient. Most of us have had difficulty understanding the ratings system, so it's understandable that he needs to take his time to understand the scorination system.

- Sarzonia, from what I can tell (You did not explicitly state your overall batter and pitcher ratings.) you have an overall pitcher rating of 55 and an overal batter rating of 54. You still have three points that you could assign to either overall rating.
That's now been edited. Ratings for both pitching and hitting are 56.

This would technically be a violation of my new roster deadlines policy. (This policy is located in post #18 in the NS World Cup of Baseball II - Scores/RPs thread.) However, since you only changed your roster in order correct former errors and since those changes were not significant at all I believe that allowing these changes would not be a violation of the spirit of the rule. Also, since I did not post this policy until earlier today I don't think that it would be entirely fair to require immediate compliance with the new policy. The new policy will take effect after the end of the first series of this tournament.

With King John Fishhook's refusal to name names has led to everybody on the team being named Kelly Balldoninstein.

Collonie shall have the opposite rankings as Milchama and everybody on their team shall be evenly divided.

Batting 56
All hitters shall be evenly divided which means they shall all have the rating of
19. Except for three who should have a rating of 18.
Pitching 54
Two of the pitchers shall have a 33 rating. Three shall have 32 rating.

Are you sure you want your individual pitchers to be rated that badly? I believe you mean for them to be rated in the 50s rather that the thirties. Remember, your total available individual pitcher rating points equals your overall pitcher rating times 5 (not 3.)
