New Christac

OOC - This is completely open, join in whenever you want. New Christac has been having skirmishes with nearby countries for a while, but up until this point there has been no full scale fighting. The military base Mozz was built; where all operations in the West of New Christac are organized. This is where the story starts. The initial story line is that the countries involved are trying to protect their citizens but are also being pulled into a nuclear war.
IC- Mozz - A military base on the west border of New Christac. 23:22
The sirens blared all around the complex, the soldiers on guard nearby removed the blanks from their weapons and pulled out the live rounds. Those sleeping woke up in the barracks, realized what was going on, and ran to the armory as fast as they could. This was the moment they had all been training for. The fear on the faces of those running to the front wall was noted by the Cleric on duty, but this was understandable. All the tests concluded that those on the base would have roughly twenty minutes before the fence would breach. Those guards running with guns in their hands, some still dressed in their sleeping wear would know this.
"Do it for God!!!" The Cleric shouted to those on the front wall, who were busy loading the machine guns and building make shift cover, raising his sword high into the air. This was met with applause from all those who heard. This was not going to be so much a fight, as a massacre. The Cleric silently spoke to his Lord “please God, may we be met in your kingdom by the choir singing us songs of victory”

“We have a code red, code red” Shouted 2nd Lieutenant Willz
“Wake the general!” Sergeant Coklin shouted to the Clerics standing either side of the door. They nodded and left.
“Get the foreign secretary on the line!!” ordered Captain Sheez
“Move the armored inventory into the area” Screamed Willz to the privates on the computers next to him.
“Activate the ICBMs!!” General Rogers announced from the door way making the others look around.
“Done sir, ready to fire!!” Shouted Sheez
“Foreign secretary on the line!!” Private Smith told Sheez.
“I’ll take it!” Said the General “And someone wake the President”
“He is already awake” Saerat announced from the back “and power down the ICBMs!!”
The General passed the phone to Sheez and addressed the President “Sir, with all due respect, we have just lost one of our best bases in the west. We should be preparing for a war!!”
“I am not going to pull New Christac into a nuclear battle, I have to assemble the Council to discuss the situation, but those ICBMs stay down, understood?”
“Yes sir” the general said bitterly
