Multiland has some issues with the Universal Bill of Rights (A UN Act) and therefore, until such time as a repeal can be submitted and until such time as such a repeal is agreed to, Multiland Law has changed as follows (we have written the UN article under the UN Act, then our response to each article:

Article 2 -- All human beings have the right to express themselves through speech and through the media without any interference.

Multiland Free Speech Harming Others Act: A person or a law may STOP people expressing themselves through speech and through the media where this is considered necessary to prevent or/and stop upset or/and harm to one or more other persons. This is NOT interference (as confirmed by the dictionary), as the term “interference” falls short of meaning “to stop”, it only effectively means “to delay”.

Article 4 -- All human beings have the right to be treated equally under the law of any member nation.

Multiland Non-human beings Law Persons arrested are not considered to be human beings but will still have the protection of the Law of the People of Multiland. Once they are released, they will be considered to be human beings.

Article 6 -- No human beings will be subjected to arrest or exile without an explicit list of their offenses.

Multiland Non-humans Law Persons subject to arrest or exile are not considered to be human beings, but will still have the protection of the Law of the People of Multiland. Once they have been released or exiled, they will be considered human beings.

Article 7 -- Any arrested person must be assumed innocent until proven guilty.

Multiland non-persons Law Persons arrested for one or more Serious Crimes are not considered to be persons, but will still have the full protection of the Law of the People of Multiland. They may therefore be presumed guilty until proven innocent. Once they are released, they will be considered to be persons.
