DataNet v2.0 Released & Official
[Anatoba City, Austar Union] -- Minister of Internal Correspondance, Director Timothy D. Aryan has officially announced the release and opening of the multibillion dollar project, DataNet v2.0. As it had been planned, the shift from v1.0 to v2.0 was completed at midnight last night, with all major networks shutting down for the time period of just over two hours. And predicted to have the ability to handle much higher volumes of traffic for less price and / or effort, beta testing has proven astounding.
"Under the new DataNet," explained the Director at a quick press conference. "I can proudly say that each arm of society will benefit from this. Corporate networks will be able to be linked to other corporate networks, civillian networks will be more organised, government networks will be tightened to utmost efficiency, et cetera et cetera."
