Where has all the baseball gone?

I haven't signed on in a while now. I was hoping that by now you would have started the second NS World Cup of Baseball. Sadly, however, participation in the NSWCB has stagnated since I stopped posting. :( I've decided that I need to take a more active role in setting up the next tournament.

I have a poll on this thread for the host of the next cup. Anyone signed up for the second tournament, excluding puppets, can vote in this poll. The options for the poll will be Milchama, Sarzonia, Wingarde, New Montreal States, Liverpool England, and Kaze Progressa. If any of those individuals does not wish to host the next tournament, the should state that they withdraw their name from the ballot. Whoever wins the poll will be the host of the next tournament and will scorinate all of the games. The host may use any scorination method that he/she chooses, but if he/she wants to keep the method similar to the last tournament I'll be glad to discuss the method that I used. Also, we'll start the next tournament with only 28 teams. The host of the next tournament can use whatever type of schedule he/she chooses.

The reason why nothing has happened is because we need the leadership of somebody and your that somebody who gave the NS baseball world leadership. So since you have been gone the support has all but stagnated.

By the Way: What TI calculator do you have? I have a TI 83 and how do you program anything into the calculator?

I have a TI 84 Plus. The programming language is exactly the same though. It isn't too difficult to program, but it's kind of hard to discribe. So I'll answer that second question later, when I'm more prepared to describe everything.

Crimmond is not signed up for the next tournament, so her/his vote will not count. That means that Milchama has two votes, New Montreal States has one, and Kaze Progressa has two. Anyway, I'm considering coming back to host the second cup myself. If I do choose to host the second cup, it will start some time in the first half of January so that I can have time to focus on school during the last few weeks of this semester. Next semester hosting the tournament should be alot easier on my schedule since I'll only have four classes instead of seven.

Neither Iesus Christi nor Yurka are signed up for the next cup. I'll go ahead and count their votes as well as Crimmond's anyway. I'll also take the liberty of assuming that they would like to participate in the upcoming tournament giving us a total of 31 teams. (If they wish to not participate, they may withdraw their entry from the tournament. This honestly might be a rather bold assumption on my part so I'll make sure to inform them via tg that I've entered them into the next tournament.) Finally, I give my vote (as a tie breaker) to Milchama. This is mostly a formality since I have decided to host the next tournament myself, but it also provides a backup host should I decide that I need another vacation from NS. Nothing at all against any of the other candidates, just that Milchama has been uniquely dedicated to the NSWCB (also Liverpool England voted against himself which I'll take to mean that he'd rather not host the tourney, and Kaze Progressa is very busy with World Cup of Football/Soccer affairs.) Anyway, like I said, this is mostly a formality since I've decided to host the next tournament myself. It will start some time in early January. And so, congrats to Milchama on being declared Vice-President of NS World Cup of Baseball Affairs, or something like that.

edit: Oops, actually the poll connected to this thread is actually still open until Saturday at 9:32 A.M. (American Eastern Standard Time.) It's like Bush-Gore in Florida in 2000 (sorry if that brings back any painful memories.)

Now the result is official. Milchama wins the poll. I'll still be the host of the next tournament, though. If, for any reason, I am unable to host a future tournament, Milchama will take my place as host. I really am sorry that I've been unable to post consistently over the past month. This semester has been so difficult for me and I've needed the time to prepare for my finals. I hope to start the next tournament in the first half of January at the latest. Also, I'm posting a rosters thread, as well. So, now, everyone will be able to participate in the cup by posting her/his team's roster.
