Here it is, the Minutan factfile. I will update this if anyone needs to know anything during an RP. I would advise ignoring my nation page for everything apart from population. It is no accurate reflection of the race I am to describe now!

Nation Name: Minuta (Min-you-tar)
Person: Minutan (Min-you-tar-n)
Minutan as a People: Minutan (Min-you-tar-n)
*Capital: Guerado (K-Where-Are-Do)
Major Settlements: Nitatren (Night-At-Run), Hiterati (Height-Er-At-I), Liperfac (Lip-Er-Vac).
Housing: The houses of the typical Minutan are made of brick, and some older ones are simple (some spectacular) mud buildings.
Other buildings: Other buildings can be made of brick. Some buildings stand out though. The huge 'Palace of the Ancients' is made out of a clifface overlooking the major town of Guerado.
*Note: Minuta does not have a specified capital, this city has the biggest population of all major settlements and houses some of the major Minutan and places in the society (such as the leader, the biggest spaceport, it is the main producer of vital items for the Minutan, and is where the Palace of the Ancients is).

"They are around eight foot in height and stand on their hind legs which are not dissimilar to that of a horse. Their muscles go with their body size. The average Minutan has muscles the size of an average humans thigh. They stand upright, tall and proud. Their skin is a horrible dirty purple in colour. Their feet are hardy with extremely tough skin on the bottom with which they walk on. Their toes are long and versatile, each foot holding four toes. Their arms fall by their sides, about waist height, protruding to the front slightly. Their hands are alot bigger than an average humans, with bigger surface area and longer fingers, with a wider span. Each hand holds six fingers. Their heads are not dissimilar with a humans, but within the proportion of their own body size. Their nose is different though, the septum protruding out, while the rest is pushed backwards. Their top lip is almost non-existant, while their bottom one is a reddy-purple in colour, and alot larger. Their eyebrows fall over the eyes, covering about half of them, but can be raised for extra vision easily. Their faces have alot of small extremely able muscles, capable of moving a large amount of their face, adapting to the situation. For example, in a sandstorm they can cover their eyes with their eyebrows to protect the eyes, or can close their nose if needed. Their sense of smell and sight are extremely good. However, they can barely hear anything at all. Their is only one gender of Minutan. A new Minutan is born out of a dead one. This is not an instant thing, but for every dead Minutan, it is said five rise to take its place. The religious belief (not held by the Minutan society itself, as they do not know how it works either) is that the spirit of a dead Minutan spawns the birth of another five by some mysterious act of some higher power. The Minutans just accept that it happens and don't care about it. A Minutan should live for about 3,000 years, due to an extremely robust immune system and quick response to serious injury. However, due to warring and social takeover, their life is cut short. They can go without food and water for about sixty days, living on their reserves. However, should they go through their reserves, recovery takes a very long time. They feed on meat alone and their bodies react badly with toxic substances. They drink water."

A Minutan scholar:
"Spread over a vast planet lay the peoples of Minuta. How did they get there? The land was first inhabited by primative bloodthirsty creatures who were killers by instinct. Through, in comparison with other creatures, not very many years, they evolved into a civilisation. They began fulfilling basic needs, developing abilities to interact and perform quite complicated tasks. One of these beasts had to take control. A leader emerged, one dominant beast who gained respect through the society which had developed, who everyone of them eventually accepted as their leader. The first leader was intelligent beyond the levels of the rest of his kind. He formed a shambles of an authority with a small military type group. This group wasn't very advanced, with small arms just defending the society from rampaging beasts, who were of course joined by other members of the species. They rallied around a leader in time of trouble. The social system began to develop quite quickly, as did the economy. Better weaponry was created as through the ages their knowledge developed.
As leaders died and new ones came to power, the race developed. The third leader was quite important. Not only during his leadership did the first weapon develop, but during his time the first Weso* was tamed. Now common place, the Weso is the main form of transportation. He opened trade links with other nations who came down in great ships from the skies. As this leader died the next continued his good work. He kept the trade links open, and one day they managed to obtain the technology to produce these great ships. They got help from their allies in building them and established a military fleet. The ships were not beautiful by any means. They were living organisms similar to the weapons.
As time went on, so did the advancements. Wars started and ended. Races were eradicated and the whole area around the Minutan home planet changed. The first great Minutan war started. Minutan allies came to aid in fighting off a common enemy. The Minutans fought off the enemy fiercely with their new found technology and old weapons. Three leaders passed during this time, and each one was supported by the people who fought bravely, defending their home world that had spent so long building up. Casualties were high, but the population grew considerably after the war as more Minutan spawned."
*The Weso: A huge beast capable of carrying heavy loads and suprisingly quick. They are tamed and ridden by people throughout the Minutan society. Some have been made protection for and are used in battle. They form the basis for a cavalry of some sort.

"As a social group they are extremely strong, with the amazing ability of teamwork and social interaction. Compared to other creatures evolutions, they were quick in getting where they are now. A leader is elected through the strongest most able and respected beast. It is not uncommon for showdowns between two highly respected members of society to fight to the death over leadership. Word spreads quickly of a new leader, everybody then accepts that this new leader is more capable than the old one. These conflicts have been known to last up to fifty days in one case. They are fought with bare fists, the two competitors slogging it out between themselves with no help. Their society revolves around conflict and death. Without death there can be no life, and without life there can be no death. Weso's are common place, but not wild. They are tamed and ridden by Minutans. They are used for carrying items or as quicker transport to places."

Minutan in Combat

Where their weapons fail the Minutans hands are its next weapon. They are capable of crushing an average human in one fair blow. A Minutan lives for killing. Their whole society revolves around it. For this reason they are extremely strong, which is no way of winning battles itself. For this they have developed from experimentation by ancestors weapons that have capabilities of other nations weapons. The one downside is that the technology is quite underdeveloped. These weapons have been known to kill the holder. Explosions during battles are not common, but not non-existant either. The weapons are slowly getting better.
Weapons: In the days gone two handed spears were more common. Long hardy wooden poles with a composite sharp point strapped to the end, usually with a red strip of material tied on just below the point. How the colour of this material came to be is questioned. Some say it is coloured by the blood of enemies, which would not be suprising. Others settle for the obvious method, dying. This spear would be used in a stabbing motion or swinging which also causes considerable damage to the opponent, due to the spear point having sharp edges also. They are still used but not so much. They have been mostly replaced by firearms. These firearms are not the refined neat weapons of other nations, but ugly and rough. They seem in proportion to the tall built figure of the Minutan, seeming almost biological, almost alive.
Cavalry: In land battles, a Weso is used. This huge beast is ridden into combat. It can take quite a beating and the armour provided by its master adds to its importance. Seeing one of these huge beasts fall to the ground is quite a sight, as they fall, give up and (especially on the home planets) dust rises from the ground to cover them as though it were a blanket.
Space Combat: The ships of the Minutan are living creatures, controlled by the Minutan but by no means a slave. For more info, see "Minutan Ships".

Regenerative Bio Hull: The ships are living creatures. They create energy. Such is the efficiency they rarely need rest, and even then it is after a long battle. The hull of the ship acts as though tissue would. It repairs itself, meaning the ship rarely has to dock, unless it has sustained serious damage. Like a living creature, the ship contains organs that act like any other.
Energy: A wierd organ pulsates in the ship. It is not known how but this organ produces a huge amount of energy. It powers the ship and its weapons, as well as the shields.
Shields: Shields on Minutan ships are weak. The technology is poor in that area. The power has never been refined from the energy source. The shields are not naturally part of the ship. The shields can withhold a fair bit of fire, but not too much. Once the shields have gone, it takes quite alot of the ships energy to restore them.
Weapons: Bio weapons are used in the ships. These are powered by the ship and release a huge amount of energy. However, these weapons are slow to fire.

"Deep within the heart of the Minutan sector lie the remains of wars spanning centuries. Dead planets with no life lie side by side to drifting rock from planets long since destroyed, and then you have the Minutan home planets. Three planets, one central large one and two smaller ones in its orbit, more like habitable moons.
The main planet houses 95% of Minutan. The two moons (Hig and Waya) house 1% and 4% respectively. The main planet is barren, a huge desert with lots of small patches of water. The two moons are very different. Hig is mostly water, with a few small islands on. Weya is a large forested landscape with a 42% water coverage. It has large mining areas on."

"The High Lords consist of five Minutan. They are absolved from conflict and takeover, and are high ranking. What do we do? Should the leader be challenged in a takeover fight, we make sure the fight is fair, bare fisted and between only the two. It is rumoured that the High Minutan have powers beyond the normal. The truth is, we do. During a battle, we may be found leading the attack with full High Minutan Armour and a battlestaff. This staff is our channel for our powers. So we may not exactly be as muscular as others, in fact we aren't. We do not need it. Our power's get us by. Of course when we die a new Minutan will need to take our place. The Minutan with the power are drawn to our centre as soon as one dies. They can feel it. They arrive... when I say they, there is only ever one... but they arrive and are instantly entered into our order. Their energy is quickly tapped into and they find out how to use it quickly."

Important Minutan
Requ Dobango
Requ Dobango has contributed so much to Minutan society. He tamed the first Weso, developed modern Minutan weapons and is the oldest living Minutan, excluded from social takeover. He resides in the inhospitable barren lands on Minuta's home planet, living as the ancients did. He develops weapons and things much needed for the military. A veteran of the two great Minutan wars, he is much respected throughout the populace.
Har Hulit
A superb commander of the flagship of the first Minutan fleet, he had done much to develop spacecraft and travel. He spent his life finding problems and solving them. His personal ship, the Magaraki, lies in the Minutan capital's spaceport, now not used. He died repairing a malfunctioning ship, despite the High Minutans best efforts.
Harish Lumiq
Leader of the first expedition to the planet TY-509b, or 'Oz'. He is an expert in salvage and rescue missions, leading many groups during the second great Minutan war, rescuing captured forces and destroying lost ships or technology.
