Brief Historical Overview: The Empire of Bonduari
Nearly 800 years ago, several humans from Earth left, fed up with over-population and intergalactic growing pain issues these settlers left with hopes of finding a better place to call home... and to make sure they do not commit the same acts that Earth did in centuries before. These settler finally settled on a Earth-like planet, which settlers named Bonduari- after the manufactuer of most of the ships used to migrate there, the planet orbited a Mid-range Orange Star... everything seemed perfect, the government was extremly progressive taking the best ideas and philosophies that existed on Earth and slightly changed them to better fit the current situation. As the years progressed, the Republic of Bonduari prospered, several innovations were invented during this time, however over-population was becomming a problem as industry had begun to take large sections of habitable areas. Knowing this, the Congress of Bonduari comissioned several teams of civilians to settle the remaining planets in the same system as Bonduari, and teams that settled other close- but outlying star systems. As intrest grew in these new colonies,some industry left Bonduari for new investment oppurtunities among the new markets associated with the colonies. Over the next few decades Bonduari stumbled along in intergalactic progress. Those decades would prove to be harmfull to Bonduari, several Civil Wars broke out, trade slamed to a halt and all resources were moved towards military support and weapons and manufacturing. Several citizens during this period migrated outside of the Republic, mainly to Earth and it's holdings or allies to Bonduari. The planet of Bonduari was left decimated, basic infastructure would have to be rebuilt from the beggining. As the Main Civil war drew to a close, Bonduari was transformed; A powerfull galactic power- now lost. The Republic of Bonduari was reduced to Bonduari and it's system's planets, and three colonial star systems. During this period of rebuilding, an unlikely colonial gem immerged from the ashes. The colony of Beta Antaries- which was spared from most of the Civil War, arose as a major industrial factor to Bonduari. The planet kept all of it's major industries and even gaied some during the Wars as little or no fighting was going on to disrupt trade. In late 652 A.C. (After Colonization [Of Bonduari the major planet]) Revloution- once again struck Bonduari, this time it was for good. A govenor from the southern-most continent of Bonduari raided the Capitol Complex of Bonduari, there he dispersed a nerve agent in Congress, killing several members- he than took his coup to the Prime Ministers main office, killing him and declaring himself Emperor of Bonduari and it's holdings. Several people revloted.. but finally, he succeded in controling the population by giving them what they wanted- jobs, money and housing. With Bonduari content, he was safely in control. However, on Beta Antaries.. things were diffrent, several people protested this course of action and called for seperation while others supported this move, hoping an Emperor would eliminate the process of berauacy in aid funds for areas improvereshed by the Civil Wars. However, overall this action was dissaproved by the general population of Beta Antaries disapproved. The Emperor did not change the limited self-government that Beta Antaries currently has, however as unrest is on the rise, time will only tell.
