Love Knows No Bounds

From working closely together on the projects of their respective roles in Government, to late nights and having to on occasion sleep at the offices, it could almost be said that the relationship between Lord Indigo Blue and Lord Juno Sanchez had grown to be quite friendly. And for one thing, staff at the offices had noticed but one thing--the more time they worked together, the more time they actually spent together outside of those bastard work hours. From tennis to a cappuccino down by the lake, the bonds of friendship had always been growing ever so closer, ever so tighter. Until this.

"I'm... shocked..." stuttered Juno, staring at the scene which had been lay before him. "What do I say?"

Indigo smiled from the corner of his mouth, "I would hope for your answer to be Yes?"

See, this wasnt exactly the first time these two gentlemen leaders had been "involved" with one another. But having been considered straight for most of their known lives, they found it relatively difficult to accept themselves rather than to expect others to also. There were those nights at the offices, tentative times in a random cafe, and even such times when they but laughed over a doughnut, or something. It were these actual moments that had formulated the bounds of their friendship, and furthermore into something much greater. Of course, but to consider marraige--it was legal, certainly; but it didnt exactly make it feel alright. Indigo however, (being the more dominant partner in this "relationship") had chosen to take the lead. He wanted this, and for all that he was willing to sacrifice in order to gain, he would obtain it.

Juno's shock wasnt surprising in the slightest. "So?" asked Indigo raising both eyebrows. "Would you be willing to take that risk? Would you be willing to live forever, together in this relationship we have forged?"

"I would," trailed Juno, his eyes meeting elsewhere. "But I wouldnt know how to be recieved. Hatred? Anger? Have I betrayed anyone? My Family?"

Indigo pressed his lips together, pulling the courage from within. "I wouldnt want to force you." He began to close the case, with ring inside and all. "Its alright."

Juno shook his head and stopped Indigo from doing so, "No! Please, invest your patience upon me. I do want to marry you, Indigo. I do want this relationship to strengthen, I do want to grow with you forever." Juno took Indigo by the hands. "And so I do, I do, I do."

Indigo's face contorted in what would have been considered an extremely pleased grin, and thus wrapped his arms around Juno tightly, embracing him.

"You're a good man Juno," he breathed. "Tis why I love you so much."

"And I do unto you." Juno savoured the moment, this couple beside the lake. "When will we marry? Oh when?" He teased, pretending to be the fair (and indecisive) female.

Indigo pondered for a moment. "How about we just make the announcement of our engagement, and then leave the details until later?"

"Sounds like a good plan," conceeded Juno--his face but a grin plastered all over it.

{SUBJECT: Our Engagement}

I would like to officially announce the engagement and 'intention to marry' between Lord Indigo Blue and Lord Juno Sanchez, made and agreed upon on the $date, $year, at exactly $time. Over the course of time, we have found that the boundaries of friendship have been but only unsatisfactory, and in order to move into the next phase of our relationship, we have chosen to bind together into the eternal agreement of marriage.

Thankyou all, and many of you can expect invitations to our upcoming wedding within the next few months or so.

Signed,

The Hague, an upscale inner-city apartment

"I take it I should leave your Excellency for the evening then" – a serious-looking gentleman dressed in black gave a courteous nod to Tim de Boer (http://ns.goobergunch.net/wiki/index.php/Tim_de_Boer) as he grabbed for his coat in the narrow hallway with stairs leading up to a stylishly decorated apartment. He shook his head as he watched two attractive young men run excitedly up the creaky narrow stairs together.

"Bye Rogier, see you tomorrow!", a cheerful, tittering voice sounded from the first floor. "Take the morning off if you want!"

The offer was answered by the opening and closing of the front door. Upstairs, Tim was admiring his latest prize while preparing two cups of cocoa in his small but cosy kitchen. Joas was probably in his early thirties, but he looked much younger – a radiant smile made his round face with its short dirty-blond hair look very pleasant and fresh.

"You have butler?", Joas asked with some surprise as Tim stirred the Colombian-grown cocoa slowly.

"You bet ya! I have serious responsibilities you know."

"Like going out in the Drunken Tiger on friday night to pick up boys?", Joas teased.

"Not as much as I’d like to", Tim said with a melancholic smile, "but I do have to keep in touch with the electorate."

Joas, on his part, saw this as a clear invitation to walk closer to Tim and snuggle up from behind as the young State-Secretary of Foreign Affairs poured the cocoa into cups.

"Hmmmm", Tim murmured, "I’ll drop the cup if you don’t watch i…"

*beep beep, beep beep*, a little device clipped to Tims belt sounded.

"State-Secretary, you have incoming messages", a soft computer voice hummed in the kitchen.

"Sorry bud", Tim said with a smile as he loosened himself from Joas, putting the cup down as he walked over to a woodwork-covered workstation nestled in-between a trendy couch and a stylish lamp. "Computer, display new messages please."

The workstation buzzed as Joas waited in the kitchen, drinking some of his cocoa. Tim quickly scanned the messages prepared for him, finding nothing particularly important or urgent. Just as he was about to close down the station to get back to his visitor, however, his eye was struck by a strange invitation. A frown was turned upside-down and with a giggle Tim beckoned Joas to come over.

“Look at this!”, he said, standing up straight again as his friend hugged him from behind while staring at the screen. “Did you know he was gay?”

"No idea", Joas said with a smile, "but I can understand him. That Sanchez is a cutiepie. Still he is not nearly as cute as you are."

"Awwwww"

"Just make sure you get to go to the wedding", he grinned, "and bring a guy of your own."

Tim turned around, naughtily staring into the eyes of Joas and pushing him back against his chest.

"Now don’t you think that me inviting you here means that you get to influence any political decisions", he said playfully. "That isn’t why you’re here and you should know that."

"Oh?", Joas asked with feigned surprise as he allowed himself to be pushed back towards the sofa, "What am I here for then?"

"Oh I’ll show you!”
