I'm interested. Have read the entire IC thread. Also participated in a similar thread before.

One thing I need is the promise of dedication to this Academy. Other Academies have died out from inactivity, and I'm looking to keep this going strong for a very long time. I understand RL is much more important, but I'd really love activeness in this. I have a lot of plans to make it interesting.

I will likely be available on a fairly constant basis, save for limited access during exam week(s), as well as Tuesdays/Wensdays.

OOC: I based this character off of Carrie White in the Stephen King book "Carrie", in this alternative history Carrie faked her own death after the events described in the book occured and fled to California but the shock of everything caused her to suffer Amnesia. She asumed the name Amber Brownstone, married and had a daughter who in turn married and had a child of her own.

I see somebody else like mutants, too. My royal family members are mutant/vampires. Plus, my leader has his own mutant academy built on his land. And I started my own academy thread in June of this year. But it did not make it. A couple of people disappear during it. So… I will like to sign up two of my teachers at my academy to your thread. Weight:Varies with the level of care she has about it, though she's never fat.

Appearance: Being six feet tall wasnt something special back home, in fact it was downright tiny, but she would be considered long and lanky, though not neccesarily a stick figure by pretty much everyone else. Being human in the first place made her a social outcast in her native land, and having both purple hair and -naturally- strange powers only compounded her problems.

Mutant Power(s):The ability to sponaneously generate uplifting or demoralizing imagery and sounds in a persons mind. Currently taking the form of various kinds of music, as she hasn't had any real opportunity to grow her talents.

Personality: Apathetic with a purpose. Has to be motivated to accomplish basic tasks others would do without question, unless she is possessed of a long term goal. Getting to the academy from a wartorn country, on her own, for one. For the most part reluctant to engage in conversation with others, though she works well with younger children. Has a great learning capacity, though this was foiled by the insanely large class sizes at home, and state forced social bonding.

Exactly. Using your powers in broad daylight not only puts you at risk, but it put's the Academy at risk. Doing so will bring dire consequences for the Academy overall, and Reina will definitely not like that.

Was that really needed? If you had this planned with another character in the RP, that's totally fine, but if not, I would suggest taking that out. None of my characters would even dare entering someone elses' mind without permission, nor would they let anyone else attempt to do so, especially in the Academy.

Another thing, for most of the characters. The Academy is for those who don't exactly have the best control over their power, and for those who don't exactly know what their powers are. That's the whole point of it, is to help the characters learn what they can do, and control it. As of now, I already see a few characters using their powers as if they know them perfectly.

It's in response to Daniel(Midlonia)'s probing.

Essentially my character hasn't really mastered the whole "mind probe" thing. The only "power" he has mastered insofar would be the "seduction" technique where he vanished from sight. Everything else is open because I don't know what I [or the teachers] may eventually give him.

As it stands, I state that he skimmed "Surface thoughts" which are ones which are right at the front of your mind and you simply wouldn't noticeif they were read. If he did try to mind probe, your brains would probably be the rough equivalent of Borscht because he doesn't know what he is doing. The Smashing of the Mind probe was accidental as it was rather clumsily wandering around looking for Violet.

Nexlon's decently skilled at his Amplification and Suppression powers, but he can only do it for a few moments at most. His actual fighting skills need some work as well.

My character Jason has (barely) minimal control of his power to keep it from killing those around him.

Amber Brownston/Carrie White on the other is a more complex case, while still one person, Amber and Carrie are diverging into two seperate personalities in one body (MPD, Multiple Personality Distorder) but they are not fully pulled apart... yet.

While Carrie is an expert in controling her powers, Amber is not and what use of power Amber thinks she has used has been in reality all Carrie.

But at this point I'm not sure where I'm going to take Amber/Carrie.

Well…not on land that has a 300,000 men private army guarding it. Count JWolf, my leader and the headmaster of my academy, owns a lot of land in Romania. Castle Von Wolf sits in the middle of his land. He owns the land for 40 miles around Castle Von Wolf. I’m not good a math but I know that is a lot of land.

Plus…JWolf has had the land for a long time. Around a 1000 years. And nosy people get shot, if they try making it into his lands by him or his sons.

Semirhage: I'd suggest that you just stick with Amber Brownstone, rather than putting Amber/Carrie every time. Everyone participating in this RP probably knows who it is by now.
