The Cycle of Elections has come and gone in Semirhage, and with the rise of Sophia Moss as the heir to the glory of Preston Wallace the parties have shifted in almost all areas except one, the People's Party still dominates the scene.

Senate Seats: 150 (50 States, 3 seats each)

People's Party: 99 Seats

Green Party: 15 Seats

Machine Faction Party: 15 Seats

Labor Party: 15 Seats

Semirhage Pride Party: 3 Seats

Communist Party: 2 Seats

Declaration Party: 1 Seat

----------

As you can see the people of Semirhage (with over 90% of all eligible voters exercising their right to vote this cycle, down 1% from the last cycle) have chosen the People's Party (a moderate party, able to gain concensus, in control of Semirhage for 25 years) to head the Senate which allows Sophia Moss to have her party in the Majority.

Three parties tie for second with 15 seats each, the Green Party (Enviromental), Machine Faction Party (Technology), and Labor Party (Worker's Rights).

In third place is the dying Semirhage Pride Party (Neo-Conservative Party) with only 3 seats.

In fourth is the slow-growing Communist Party (want's to turn the country into a Maoist Communist State)

And in last place is the Declaration Party (Strict Interpretation of the Declaration of Republic) with a single seat.

-------------

As you can see the majority party is still in control of both the Senate and the Prime Designate branches of government, but the debate on making the Supreme Court an electable office (like all other judical appointments) continues.
