In addition, provided the Empress is not allergic to cats, or more specifically mountain lions, we wish to offer as a birthday present, a domesticated mountain lion kitten.

Today, General Ken Remmol sent the Empress a rather cheesy birthday gift - a set of 25 quality Mirkanan cheeses.
"We hope to remind other nations that we are not just a bunch of militaristic wackos with good aim - we make excellent cheese as well," Remmol said with a smile.
OOC: Cheese is one of Mirkana's major exports.

Along with their best birthday wishes, Their Majesties sent to the young empress a finely bred stallion from the Royal Stables. The horse was strong and gave a certain impression of wildness, likely to suit the tastes of a girl her age, while remaining a well trained and quite safe beast to ride. He was a jet black stallion, with sleek, muscular sides and a luxurious mane. He had, thus far, received excellent care and training, to augment his superior breeding.

The horse made the trip along with his long term groom, Theresa Abell. The overweight blond woman stroked and calmed the horse throughout the whole sea voyage, dressed in the nicest clothes compatible with her position. She was, of course, just going for the trip. She would hand the present over to the Khallayneans with the message from His Most Esteemed High Majesty, High King Owain, and then head back to her home country. Although she didn't really expect to speak to anyone but one of Diana's grooms, she was hoping she might, by some chance, come into the presence of the young Empress who had reformed so much about her country in so short a time.

The Imperial Land of Findan also wishes the Empress a happy birthday.

For a gift we shall send her pleasure barge, from Findan's finest luxery ship manfactuers.

If the Empress has not wed, Prince Randyll has been offerd for her. He is the Empeor's youngest brother and has recently turned 18. In one week he shall be knighted adn given a combat command.

To Empress Diane I,

I give congradulations to the Empress of Khallayne on her 16th birthday and send to Her Majesty as a gift a fine blue diamond ring that was once worn by my great-grandmother Helena Gardner during the height of the Akaia Republic, before the Posthuman Revolution.

~Imperial Statement~

The Divine Reich of Tocrowkia offer's it's congratulations to Diane, and as a present, we present her the dagger of one of our esteemed leaders, Ayane Emmerich, whom defended Tocrowkia in the middle ages. She was a very strong female leader, and we feel it is fitting for your Empress.

We would like to wish the Empress a very happy 16th birthday, and many, many more. We hope she will accept the gift of a beautiful katana sword from our nation's finest blacksmith. We garauntee that its platinum blade shall never fail her.

Theresa let her mind wander as she travelled with the present. Khallayne had been in the news a good deal recently. First, their Emperor had arrived at a public party being thrown by the High King and had, according to the pundits, "unforgiveably insulted the dignity of the nation." Then the news carried stories of how horrifically the Emperor persecuted Christians and all other dissenters from the Path of Yellow Heaven. Then there was a horrible regicide and the coming to power of this Empress Diana, who claimed to be the youngest monarch in the world. Theresa wasn't sure if that was true or not. She knew that there were a number of child monarchs but she couldn't think of any younger than Diana off the top of her head.

The groom, herself about eighteen, stroked the stallion gently to calm it from a sudden shift in the plane. "There, there. We're ok, pretty. We're ok." Slowly, the plane was starting to descend, heading towards Khallayne. The Office of the Royal Herald had, of course, made all the usual arrangements beforehand.
