Well, I've been deeply involed in a Star Wars RPG on these forums for awhile now, and I"ve been thinking about this for awhile.
I am hereby opening a new RPG, based on Battletech. If I get enough poeple to sign up, we'll play, if not, I"ll just drop it.
Basic Rules: Each single player can command up to one Lance, or one Star, of Mechs. ( 4 Mechs to a Lance, 5 to a Star.)
When creating your Lance/Star..First Generation Rules apply. This RPG will begin at the opening of the Clan Invaision of the Inner SPhere.
When listing your Lance, Pilot names for each Mech are not needed to begin, but Pilot name of the Commander of Each Lance/Star is.
When creating your Lance, make clear waht types of Mechs and What Varients are involved. ( I have a Jenner..is not acceptable...I have a Jenner 3-C is.
To begin:
I;m looking for:
2-5 Lance of Inner Sphere Mechs, preferably attached to either aknown House ( House Davion would be good), or a known Mercenary Unit ( grey Death Legion, Black Widows).
2-5 Stars of Clan Mechs. TO start, only Clan Jade Falcon or CLan Ghost Bear are acceptable. If I can get enough people involved, I will open up Clan Steel Viper, or others.
Would like to see:
1-5 companies of Infantry and/or armor.
1-5 Stars of Elementals.
1 - 3 Flights ( 2 ships) of Areomechs.
1 - 3 Merchants.
ALso note...if you choose Clan..you must annouce ahead of time if you are Bloodname worthy, or Freebirth. If you wish to claim a Bloodname, we will have to have Trials of Posistion to see if you can hold you own.
Mercenary Units...be prepared to show good backstory if you want to open a new Mercenary Unit. To create a Merc Unit worthy of Playing, you must have 2 poeple allied, with one full Lance ready to roll each. ( Special Exceptions may be granted, for single Mech Mercs looking to hire into a group.)
If enough people come into the game, I will bring in more rules/Regs.
