An Audience with Lord Malice...

Lord Malice sat silently in a large shuttle meditating as she traveled through hyper-space. She was to meet with a "Commander Shimmra" aboard the Exquisite Death in the Tenlen IV system. Six of her handmaidens sat in a circle around her, meditating as well. Suddenly, a voice crackled over the com in the room.

"Lord Malice, we have arrived. I will begin transmitting our presence."

Malice rose. She hated meetings like this, but the Empire needed allies, after all...

The message sent out was:

This is Lord Malice's private shuttle, and we are looking for the Exquisite Death for a diplomatic meeting. Come in, Exquisite Death?

Tenlen IV

"Commander. A small infidel vessel has entered the system. It identifies itself as the Jeedai we're waiting for."

Commander Shimmra smiled a hideous lipless smile. "Good, good. Dock with their ship. Prepare the warriors at the docking station, I will be there personally. This Jeedai will be mine..."

Across the system from the Sith shuttle, an unusually large piece of space rock suddenly began to move of it's own accord on an intercept course. Bristling with coralskippers and weapons mounts, the heavy cruiser quickly made it's way towards the shuttle while broadcasting; "Sith Empire shuttle, this is the Exquisite Death. We are coming alongside to allow you to board. Commander Shimmra will greet you at the docking area. Please power down your engines."

OOC: One point that is sure to peak the interest of your character - as Yuuzhan Vong, the Talaaxians have no presence in the Force. They are like holes in blanket of the Force. They can't be sensed or affected directly by the Force.

The engines powered down with a dull hum. The Handmaidens went over a final check of their weapons, making sure everything was in place in case things took an enexpected turn. The shuttle began to slowly descend into the bays of the Exquisite Death...

OOC: Sorry about the HUGE delay but I've been having major problems connecting to the forums.

IC: Assembled to meet Lord Malice in the docking area of the Exquisite Death, 40 Talaaxian warriors stood at attention dressed in full voduun crab armour, amphistaffs coiled around their arms. In the center stood Commander Shimmra, also in voduun crab armour. He offered a salute and spoke.

"I am Commander Shimmra of the Talaaxian Empire. This is my ship, the Exquisite Death. You should pride yourselves on being found worthy..."

The shuttle landed with a slight jolt, and soon after the ramp descended from the rear. Six figures descended out of the shuttle. They were clad in purple robes that had elaborate golden designs on them, and a hood hid each one's face. Than Lord Malice her self walked out calmly, stopping for a moment to observe her new surroundings. One of the Handmaidens peeled back her hood, her bright, fiery red hair falling out onto the purple clothe.

"And you should consider your selves likewise lucky to meet Lord Malice...sh-"

She pauses for a moment in mid-speech.

"He rarely pays a diplomatic visit to anyone..."

The Commander appraised the Sith envoys before him, his cold stare passing over each of them in turn before he spoke again. "I am told that you are a Jeedai. Are my inferiors correct?"

"No, we are not Jedi. We are Sith...and whom ever told you we were your inferiors was mistaken."

The Handmaiden spoke once more.

OOC: Wasn't calling you inferior, was speaking of his subordinates.

IC: "Force users nonetheless. If you would please come with me, we will begin our discussions." Shimmra said, motioning to the sphincter-like door in the wall across the room.

Lord Malice simply gave a meager nod, and made her way over to the door, the Handmaidens following her as well.

Commander Shimmra led the Sith into the corridor, followed by a dozen warriors. As they made their way through the bowels of the living ship, a sudden primal and unstoppable hunger flashed through the force and into each of the Sith. Something on the ship was hungry for them and it's hunger was being projected into the Force.

"The Gods are very interested in Jeedai(OOC: We have only one word for force-users and can't/don't differentiate between the light and dark side ). They will be glad to meet you.."

Malice was a bit intrigued. Gods? Well,...she always wondered what it would be like to meet a deity. She and her Handmaidens simply continued the walk, not slowing in pace.

After a few minutes of walking through the ship, during which the ferral hunger grew stronger, the party reached a large door. The Commander entered first, stepping aside to allow the Sith in.

Inside the room were three voxyn and their handlers as well as a half dozen warriors.
---------OOC Note-----------

Voxyn are genetically engineered creatures designed to hunt force-sensitive beings. They are half-Vong creation half-vornskyr and all nasty. They can screetch at a supersonic pitch with enough force to cause unconsciousness, belch a very strong acid and have poison-tipped claws.
------------/OOC Note----------
As soon as the Sith entered the room, the voxyn went crazy, wrestling desperatly with their handlers in order to get at their prey - the Sith. All of the warriors uncoiled their amphistaffs, some placing them in the staff/spear configuration and others in the venom-spitting whip configuration and stood at the ready. Taking his coufee from it's sheath, Commander Shimmra smiled at the confused Sith.

"Prepare to meet the Gods, Jeedai infidels! I promise you an honourable death, for the Gods demand such...."

OOC: Talaaxian warriors wear voduun crab armour which is capable of stopping a lightsaber. There are several weakpoints, however. They are the armpit area, the groin area and the neck. Amphistaffs can also stand up to lightsabers.
