Liliths Vengeance

Twelve destroyers, seventy eight battlecruisers, two hundred troop transports, two hundred frigates, two hundred corvettes, six carriers, seventy-four supply ships, and an as-yet uncounted number of fighters. All of that, in addition to the four worldships.
Hmm. I'm thinking some may consider this too big. However, I'm also accepting the fact that my nation only has these ships, and they were not in the best of condition at start (subtract 1 from the battlecruisers to get the number working). Can my nation support those? Admittedly not. In fact, not being able to support a growing fleet is going to be the focus of my roleplays for awhile. With no industry, no economy, no real government, and no planets to their name, I see this fleet as having problems at first and having to rely on others.
Now, beyond all of the problems of supply, food, ammunition, repairs, and building more ships as the population grows, what other items should I be worried about ICly? Well, aside from how most people will react at seeing a very large and heavily-armed military fleet floating in space. These are people who did just lose their nation, their way of life, and are now in a strange era and region. Also, do you think it's possible to keep the mobile fleet-style of the nation as the population grows?
Oh, and before anyone comments, know this: No matter how big I say my military is (which is, in this case, the entire nation), the actual military for terms of fighting is 5% of population. ICly, I can't afford to potentially lose a large amount of people to a firefight. OOCly, I'm not stupid enough to claim 6+ million people for a military force without at least a billion population to back it.
