In a recent move that shocked disillusioned adults everywhere, the Barkzdale Bans Bureau (BBB) has forcibly removed "Hi-Jinks: Pranks for Parents" from the Nick at Nite lineup.

The BBB declared that "Hi-Jinks" was detrimental to the state of parenthood in Barkzdale because it encouraged parents to exact revenge on their children. "We can't have this sort of perversion displayed on television, especially weeknights at 9:30," said BBB Television Department head Johnathan Pirb. In the speech against "Hi-Jinks," Pirb also mentioned that it "doesn't promote intellectual growth of parents or their children."

However, as with every issue, there is an opposing viewpoint. The Adult Television Association of Barkzdale (ATAB) refuted the BBB's claims, pointing out that "Hi-Jinks" taught children values that would be useful in the "real world" and that it also stopped "obstruction of justice through childish pranks." Bill Shadston, President of the ATAB, said, "It's important that children learn at an early age that pranks are not appropriate. That prevents them from attempting more dangerous pranks as they grow older."

On the far side of the spectrum, there is Quinn Grecktor, a rogue public speaker renowned for his moving oratory regarding genetically enhanced lettuce. He asked not to be directly quoted, but the general direction of his speech was that pranks should be taught as a school subject mandatory in all colleges because business becomes more and more shifty every day. He made it clear that he believes pranks reveal the true ways of shady businesses.

The Barkzdale government is currently debating the ban but will not disclose any additional information until they have reached a decision.
