Im planniong on doing another national rally RP, but unlike the last one I ran, this one is gonna be a bit more organized. THe concept is the same, but I'm changing things around a bit.

The set up will be similar to the NSF1 races, where the winners of the event will be selected by a rng, with bonuses going to people who RP. However, the key to the RP wont be the races themselves, but the character interactions. There will be about one post regardin the actual racing (which will take place durring the day, as the racers dash from checkpoint to checkpoint), for every few pages of character RP. Like I said, those who RP, and decently, will get bonuses to help in the racing.

In a few minutes, I'll have up the entry form for the RP, and I'll have as many people who wnat to enter in. I'll be posting more info as I can, and go ahead and start signing up!

Subclasses:

Stock

Touring: Mostly stock cars in production, excluding Super Sport class. Examples: BMW 330ci , Ford Mustang GT, Mercedes Benz C Class, Infiniti G35/Nissan 350Z etc. Vehicle must be in current production, or no more than 10 years old.
Sport: Slightly higher class over Touring, excluding Super Sports. Factory tuned vehicles fit here. Examples: BMW M cars, Ford Mustang Cobra, Mercedes Benz AMGs, Corvette Z06, etc. Vehicles must be in current production, or no more than 5 years old.
Super Sport: Highest stock class, in production vehicles. Examples include Ferraris, Lamborghinis, and other “exotics”. Must be in production, or no more than 15 years old.
Classic: All cars produced before 1980 fit into this class. Modifications for reliability are allowed. Also included in this class are kit cars of all years, and custom one of’s.

Note: All vehicles in stock class must be stock, save for body or interior modifications. All modified vehicles fit in Modified class

Modified

Pro Mod: House tuned vehicles include all years and makes of tuner vehicles done by a professional tuning house or company. Examples include vehicles done by Callaway, Dinan, AC Schnitzer, HKS, SLP, GReddy, Roush, Saleen (excluding Saleen S7), Mugen, etc. If vehicle fits into this class, please list modifications and primary tuner.
Self Modified Light: Class includes all lightly modified vehicles done by the owner, or with minimal shop time.
Self Modified Heavy: Class includes all vehicles modified and owned by the driver. Due to the levels of modification in this class, there is no restriction on shop time, however, the owner must pay for all modifications out of pocket. If a car is owned, and modifications paid for, by a shop owner, it still fits into this class.


Race
There are no subclasses in the race class. All vehicles in this class are dedicated and purpose built race cars that can compete in professional racing events. However, all vehicles in this class must use street tires as opposed to race tires. All cars must also be able to run off pump gas, which, in Imitora, shouldn’t be a problem, as low grade pump gas is higher than most nation’s premium grade (97, 100, and 115 octane)

Video Cars

In the first Imitoran national rally, a small group of racers didn’t race to win, but to film the race itself. The DVD release under the Mischief series as Mischief VI: Getaway in Imitora. It is currently the number one selling lifestyle video in Imitora. This group does plan to film the Imitora Player’s Run, and is also accepting others who wish to film the racing, and any antics which may or may not take place. Further, most of these filming cars are show cars, and will be participating in a car show at the end of the race.

Entrant Cost: $50,000
This fee covers not only the entry, but also the cost of fuel, hotel, and meals for the entire trip. Further, the organizers of the event cannot promise legal protection or immunity, and the cost covers any lawyer fees that drivers may incur over at any period over the event.

Stage One

Day(s): 1-2
Checkpoints: Northampton to Felston
Distance: 750 miles
Description: Mostly highway miles along Imitora's famous Highway 121, with interludes on Interstate 30 and 35 in the first, yet second longest, stage of the race. While in Northampton, speeds will slow as drivers pilot the somewhat confusing highway system, taking the over and under passes, banks and hills through Imitora's most famous city. However, once out of the city, speeds can reach upwards of 150 miles per hour, sometimes even faster, as the racers speed towards Felston. If all goes according to plan, the racers should arrive in Felston by night fall.
Events: The first night before the race will be held in Northampton (Day 1), and the racers will register with their cars. That night, the racers will receive a welcoming speech and dinner, and after that, they are off to their own in Northampton. Street racing, the best clubs in the nation, if not the world, a city that comes to life at night, massive beach parties, will all be there for the racers. The next day, they will gather outside the Water Lily hotel, and the go will be given for the racers. That day will be spent mostly racing, and arrival in Felston will be a relaxing event. Felston, like Northampton, has a great night life focused on the beaches.

Stage Two

Day(s): 3
Checkpoints: Felston to Ft. Welston
Distance: 500 miles
Description: All highway miles on Imitora H320. This route pulls the racers further from the coast line, in towards the center of Imitora, but not by much. Arrival in Welston should occur before night fall, where the racers will be treated to some of Imitora’s most famous casino’s and resorts.
Events: Accommodations are provided by the MVP Club, a night club, casino, and hotel. Racers will be given $25,000IC in chips and credit to play in any of the casinos, and access to all shows and spectacles to be had in the city. Their rest will last far into day four due to the shortness of the next stage. The surrounding desert/grass land region offers plenty of opportunity for those who wish to go horseback riding, or off roading. The racers will leave for the next city around 4:30pm.

Stage Three

Day(s): 4
Checkpoints:Ft. Welston to Darren
Distance: 215 miles
Description: This short sprint will take the racers to Darren, Imitora, by way of IH320/IH820. The shorter sprint should last no more than three hours, bringing the racers into Darren just past night fall. The success of the next stage is well dependent on the success of the racers in this stage in avoiding the highway patrol. IH820, due to its use as a major industrial transport way, could not be secured against highway patrol officers like IH121, IH320, II30 and II35. This will be the only portion where racers will be well advised to slow down, as any driving acts will be taken at the racers’ own risk.
Events: The evening planned is a relaxing one, with accommodations at Darren’s famous Blue Orbit Spa, set on the outskirts of the agricultural town. Relaxing will be well advised, as the next stage is the longest in the race, and will start early. Racers will be treated to massages, hot tubs, body wraps, and anything of a relaxing nature.

Stage Four

Day(s): 5-7
Checkpoints: Darren to Bayview
Distance: 942 miles
Description: The longest stage of the race will bring the racers around the Cape Of Blue Sea on IH320, and up back towards Bayview along II22, Northampton’s sister city. The distance is all highway miles, and the turn up towards Bayview will lead the racers up the Imitoran coast, giving the drivers chances to take runs through the cliffs and over hangs along II22. The scenic drive also yields near beach straights that will allow the racers to push their cars close to the limits.
Events: Bayview is in many ways like Northampton. Another coastal city, racers will be given and extra day of rest due to the length of the previous day’s stage. The racers will arrive long after night fall, but like Northampton, Bayview never really shuts down. Accommodations have been made at the Bayview Grande Hotel and Casino, the most luxurious Hotel in the city. Like Northampton, racers will have access to some of the best clubs in Imitora, some of the most extravagant restaurants, and of course the mainstay of the night life in the major cities in Imitora, street and highway racing and parking lot car shows. The next day will be a day of rest, where racers can tour the city, gamble at the many casinos, visit the Imitoran National Aquarium, which contains many “live” exhibits in its underwater viewing area, lounge on the largest white sand beach in the nation, and take in many other attractions. For that night the organizer of the race has rented out Moon Dreams, the third largest club in the nation, second only to Europa and Stormnight in Northampton. The party will celebrate the driver’s making it this far, and allow the racer’s the last chance to relax before the last, and most important, stage of the race.

Stage Five

Day(s): 7-???
Checkpoints: Bayview to Northampton
Distance: 350 miles
Description: This marginally distanced run carries the racers to their finally destination, and the starting point of the race, Northampton. The entirety of this run takes place on IH360. This long, straight (and most importantly) flat, stretch turns the last stage into an all out drag race…a 350 mile drag race through light to medium traffic, on a highway that couldn’t be secured by the high way patrol. This intense run will allow the cars to reach maximum potential in speed, and test the racers’ nerves. However, the run is well worth it for those who make it into Northampton.
Events: The winner of the race will be named, and the prize money handed out. Afterwards, the racers are free to stay in Northampton as long as they wish, and experience everything that the capital city of Imitora has to offer. The night life alone is reason to stay an extra week or three, and we can’t forget Northampton Nights, the largest car show in the nation, in which many of the racers’ cars will be displayed. Accommodations will be provided for the racers for up to a month past the race end, and those that stay will be able to attend a meeting in regards to setting up the next race.

Story: When the Kunar Protectorate overthrew the government of Kassyyk and former head of state Matt Scheffert thrown from the palace in Aronica by gunpoint Admiral Hirbat needed to break the spirit of those still loyal. One of his ideas was to enter the former leader's car into a rally race so that it would return battered and broken if it even returned at all. The Stingray was a gift from the people of Aronica to Scheffert, and it would be the ultimate insult if it were to be destroyed.

This looks cool, but I haven't had much time recently. I should be able to post a character tomorrow, though.
