The pinaccle of extreme sports, Urban Brawl combines the best of paintball, rugby and ethnic cleansing! For years, fans from Otagia, Ald Rhun, and more have followed their favorite teams to victory, defeat, and occasionally agonizing death. Now, Pale Rider Arms affiliates are honored to sponsor the first ever World Wide Urban Brawl Championship! Teams from across the sector have been contacted, invited to take part in the games and bring home the $100,000,000 pot!

OOC: Please fill out the following form to participate, including descriptions of equipment for each position. Energy weapons with stun settings are allowed, but no monofilament or charged weapons. Armor is provided by the PRA Urban Brawl Council.

OOC: C'mon people, sign up! What could be better than a sports/squad-based combat RP?

ooc> I will post a team as soon as I can. The rules posted seem to be modern tech based. Is that the case with this competition, or are futuristic weapons (within reason) allowed?

OOC: Futuristic weapons ARE allowed, as long as they have a stun setting. The original rules are PMT (Shadowrun), so enhanced entrants are also allowed. For example, many of my team-persons have augmetics replacing several body parts (its a violent sport, losing limbs is quite common). In-depth tournament rules are coming up.

A clarification to rules:

The players may NOT bring their own armor. The Brawl armor incorporates a penalty circuit, as well as surrender lights. Using non-standard armor is grounds for expulsion.

Melee weapons are allowed, as long as they are not mono-edged, powered, energized or otherwise lethally enhanced. Stun charges are legal.

Scouts may be issued ONE semi-automatic or burst-fire pistol, and are given light armor, suitable for quick movement. Bangers may be issued the same weaponry as a scout, and wear medium armor. Heavies may be issued ONE SMG, shotgun, or assault rifle, as well as a pistol, and wear medium armor. Blasters wear light armor, and may be issued ONE light machine gun or SAW, as well as a pistol. The Outrider rides a bike of your choice (GROUND BIKE!!!) which may mount ONE SMG, shotgun or assault rifle. The outrider may carry a pistol and wears medium armor. Medicos carry NO weapons, wear heavy armor, and are not allowed to be shot at unless they are on the Outrider's bike.

Team colors must include one bright color and one dark color to minimize camoflague. Yellow and gold are disallowed, as they obscure the surrender lights.

Until the final round of the tournament, ALL RANGED WEAPONS MUST BE NON-LETHAL. Whether this means gel-rounds or stun blasts is up to you.
