"You're right," as the President sat in his office. "It's about time we let the world know what's going on here. Today is our first day of independence, and we may need international support in the coming years, as our nation grows on its own."

The Bizarro territory, which was the northern part of a nation called Lethario, grew tired of the slow dissipation of the freedoms and civil liberties within its own region. Citizens began to disappear, all of whom raised their voices against the Dictator of Lethario. The situation got worse in such a short period of time. Luckily, the entirety of the nation began to see corruption flowing from the cruel and even psychotic dictatorship of Lethario, and a civil war ensued. This was the perfect time for the northern territory of Lethario to declare its independence, while its leader worried about keeping his throne.
Within five years, most of the dictator's armies had been defeated or had deserted the Army and had joined the rebels in their fight, as well as the rest of the factions seeking to oust the dictator. The fight was almost over. All that was left was to take out the dictator himself, who wouldn't abandon his post too easily. Bizarro rebels entered the Palace of the dictator and captured him. One would think that a large amount of torture would ensue, but the only thing that the leaders of the rebel cause could do was to throw the man in jail. The one thing that would probably break his spirit is knowing all of the atrocities he had committed, and the fact that with his entire life ahead of him, behind bars, he would have plenty of time to think about it. The war had ended with over one million casualties on all sides. A democracy was declared within Lethario, and the Bizarro Empire gained independence after peace talks with the new government of Lethario. Close ties remain, because of the fact that both sides had fought together to oust the corrupt dictatorship, which was a thorn in the entire nations' side.
Currently, the Bizarro Empire had structured itself in a similar way to the new government in Lethario, and had established democracy, as well as seeking relations with other nations.

The President walked into his main office, where the camera had been set up, and focused, as well as the setting of the office cleaned up a bit. The President promised a speech, declaring his leadership of the Bizarro Empire, as well as his eagerness to extend an open hand to any nations interested in establishing relations with the Empire. He walked into the room, sat at his chair, and was prepared with a speech that he had already written a few hours earlier.
"Good Evening. I'm sure that a lot of you had heard the news of the critical situation within Lethario, and I wouldn't doubt it if some of you had been concerned. Casualties had amounted up to one million soldiers from both sides, as well as innocents. The amount of citizens that disappeared is estimated into the hundred thousands. As we all believe, here in the newly independent Bizarro Empire, bad things come around to those who commit it, in due time. This is exactly what occurred in the capture of the dictator that plagued our land. We have broken free of the chains of slavery from him, and have declared our independence. Lethario itself also has declared a new government, and almost impeccable relations have been formed with their new regime.
This isn't enough, unfortunately. In order to advance our place in this world, the Bizarro Empire is now opening the possibility of forming relations with other nations, and will gladly negotiate any sort of treaty, or alliance that may be offered, as well as opening trade.
