The Anacreon Prefect

Aboard the Wienis, Flagship of the Anacreon Royal Navy
The Senior Lieutenant of the Wienis stared in horror at the visiplate.
"Great Galloping Galaxies!" It should have been a howl, but it was a whisper instead, "What's that?"
It was a grouping of ships, minnows to the Wienis's whale, but they were so numerous the sensors couldn't even pin down an exact count. On the side of each ship was a mysterious emblem, unknown to the crew of the Wienis but obviously hostile and threatening. Every alarm on the ship yammered hysterically.
The orders went out, and the Wienis prepared to run if it could, and fight if it must, --while down in the hyperwave room, a message stormed its way through hyperspace to the Anacreon system.
Over and over again! Partly a plea for help, but mainly a warning of danger.

Within the Vicegral Palace, Seat of the Monarchy and Palace of the Kings
Lepold II shuffled his feet wearily as he leafed through the reports. Two years of leadership after the removal of the Prince Regent had made him a bit more housebroken, a bit softer, a bit more patient, --but it had not made him learn to like government reports and the mind-breaking officialese in which they were written.
"How many ships did they get?" asked Leaj, his Minister of War.
"Four trapped on the ground. Two unreported. All others accounted for and safe." Lepold grunted, "We should have done better, but it's just a scratch."
"Has there been any attempted contact from the invaders?" The hope in Leaj's voice was badly hidden.
"No attempted contact on their end," Lepold's face fell, "and all our messengers have been returned without certain body parts necessary for continued life."
"Do we have a reliable approximation of their military might?"
"No, nothing beyond the vaguest descriptions of masses of ships all decorated with strange and violent images." If possible, the expression on the Kings face fell even further as he continued, "And we have no information on their origin or intention. We're wandering in the dark."
"There's nothing worse than fighting blind," began Leaj, "and a damn many things better. We need to find out something about these bastards if we want to form even a remotely successful counter-attack."
"I know, but we need to wait for them to show their faces again. Until then all we can do is wait."

Okay, try and kill me!
I'd like somebody to RP as the invaders, trying to conquer Anacreon (Or just some part of Anacreon, or something on the other side of Anacreaon that we're in the way of, etc.) and being fought by the Anacreon Royal Navy.
Anybody interested?
