Parliamentary Announcement
The Ministers and people of Welsh-Cymru have reached a decision to help the international community.
We as a nation have started an Emergency relief fund that will be available to nations that have suffered economic, natural or man-made disasters. Currently the fund totals 1.2 million Welsh Pounds, annually we aim to contribute 55 million Welsh Pounds towards the disaster relief fund.
In light of the uncertainty of disasters we urge other nations to follow suit and contribute to our disaster relief fund so that we may distribute these funds to the nations that so urgently need it.
Along with the disaster relief fund we have established a small training academy to train a specialist team to aid in disaster relief. Our disaster relief team aims to be fully operational within 6 months and will be ready for international deployment in disaster areas.
I hope that our contribution to the international community helps make a difference, we are not rich and we are a small nation, but we will do our best to help those in need should they call.
