OOC: I'm doing this to polish up. I'm not quite as used to sports RPs as I am war and diplomacy RPs, but after reading some the WC23 threads, I get the general gist of it. Also note that I'd prefer people who've got experience, just to help me along the way. Thanks to anyone who participates.

Golden Eagles begin training extensively for Baptism of Fire & World Cups
Foreign competitors are invited to compete against Geisenfried national team
After a recent release announcing that the Geisenfried national football team, the Golden Eagles, would enter football’s most prestigious competition, the World Cup, much has been abuzz in Geisenfried sports world. Multiple players from the elite teams of the Geisenfried Premier Football League, have been chosen to represent the nation at the World Cup. Wilhelm Romm, manager of Shinden United, current league champions, was selected to be the manager for the team.
“It’s exciting to know that we’re going to World Cup 24. While it’s our first time at it, and we’ll be facing some of the best in the world, we won’t flop and die so easily. We’re hoping for a strong performance at the Baptism of Fire Cup, maybe even a win.”
To try and achieve these goals, the Geisenfried national team has announced an extensive training schedule. They'll be training at the home of Club Royal, the RF Dome in the capital of Arcadie. King Alexander I, the monarch of Geisenfried, has wished the Golden Eagles luck, as well as providing them with accommodations like no other team in Geisenfried’s history has received. It is also set to include inviting a group of international teams, to compete against, as a test of how they’re doing. The schedule concerning the matches against these teams has yet to be released, but they’re expected to come soon, and be played at the RF Dome.
