Formation: Formed many years ago by a group of twelve people and their followers. These twelve people formed the orginal Assembly, and were thus the leaders of Snake Eaters'. They named themselves Snake Eaters' simply because the snake was the most abundant form of life on their new planet, and thus was the easiest source of food.
Over the years, Snake Eaters' has expanded into the galactic civilisation once more and now roams the void encountering many new peoples and rediscovering it's roots on Terra.
As a result of many hostile actions in the nation's early life, they have become a guarded people, suspicious of many on first sight, but also willing to make the first move towards peace. It has been noted that they are a hardy nation, very militaristic in their outlook on life, and their soliders are possessed by a fierce will that drives them onwards when the time is right, and makes them reluctant to back down even in the face of overwhelming odds.
Over the years Snake Eaters has had many contacts with a race known as the Helghast, and as a result has a deep-rooted hatred of them, and the same is true in reverse
