In an orbit high above the frozen wastelands of Relative 21 was the Nemesis station. It was Relative Liberty's most secret reasearch facility, headed by one of the Dictator's most trusted generals and the centre of all research in the field of biological weaponry. A few months ago the scientists onboard experienced a major breakthrough, no longer would biological weaponry mean tubes containing small bacteria and virus but something larger, bred only for killing. The perfect predator it measured almost three mertres long, having four legs and two arm sporting five large razorsharp claws on each and having a tail that could strike with enough force to demolish a tank, it was clad in an exosceleton strong enough to deflect bullets at a point blank range and being able to fall nearly thirty metres without being injured, its two eyes sees almost 270* and are senssitive to heat. It can clong on to walls using its sharp claws and can run at an amazing speed even while climbing upside down. The genetic experiment was called Operation Omega, with the products being called Omegas.
Dr. White-mane looked at the panel one more time and made a quick calculation. The results were the same.
''Red-Eyes, I think we might have a power leak somewhere here, the stasis fields are losing power and they seem to be malfunctioning in the same way as yesterday. I thought you fixed that?''
No response. White-mane turned around.
''Red-Eyes... Oh dear gods..''
That was the last words that White-Mane uttered before his chest was torn open and his lungs shredded before his eyes by the very creatures he had created, sharing the fate of Dr. Red-Eyes and the rest of the scientists in the west wing that now laid splattered on the walls and floor with entrails hanging from the lamps in the roof and around the computers. The stasis fields had malfunctioned but not at all in the same way as before, this time they had completely shut down and the Omegas had escaped. As he lay in a pool of his own blood with an Omega eating his entrails, Dr. White-Mane saw one of his creations smash the cold fusion reactor, destryoing it and causing it to detonate in a fireball that would consume the entire west wing.
An explosion rocked the station and the lights went dim. The explosion was probably in the west wing, the labratory, and the air flowed out into the cold void outside before the doors automatically closed. Chaos reigned supreme as the security personell tried to determine what had happened and why, was it a rebel attack or simply an accident? Whatever it was it had caused the death of twenty-five scientists and the destruction of the latest Omegas.
The HailSys operators tried to send an SOS message back to Liberty One, they needed engineers and technicians to re-stabilize the station after the explosion, medics to take care of any wounded and soldiers and shrinks to help calm the crew, but the HailSys had been shut down due to the loss of the fusion reactor in the west wing. The crew could only hope that a shuttle would be sent to investigate.
Half an hour later a shuttle emerged from hyperpsace, leaving the trademark tube-like extension of reality that identified it as a Libertarian craft. It was a small civilian shuttle carrying ten people, physicians, soldiers, psychotherapists and technicians. They docked in the northern wing and hastily made their way towards the corridor to the west wing.
Remnants of lions lay alongside the walls and the over the floor, even the ceiling was red of blood and the entrails laid two inches deep in some places.
''What was that?!'' a soldier cried.
''I didn't hear anything sir!''
''There it is!'' another shouted, pointing towards a dark silhouette in the far end of the corridor, climbing the wall and running towards them at an incredible speed.
''Fire!'' the sergeant elled and the soldiers aimed their weapons and let loose a thundering barrage of fire, but to no use. The creature continued running, not minding the amount of firepower trying to put it down, and in five minutes they were all dead, adding some extra inches to the already thick layers of blood, entrails and extremites on the floor. Only the sergenat and two riflemen escaped, using the technicians as cover and let them be slaughtered by the creature.
''Sir, upon reaching the western main corrisor we were attacked by an unidentified object, being tiger-like in shape but much more ferocious and capable of deflecting our fire. We have been separated from the scientists and are currently hiding in a secondary powerplant, we have blocked the doors and whatever attacked us is unlikely to be able to penetrate our defences and... Agghh!'' was the last words of the sergeant as he reported to his superiors.
One of his soldiers grabbed a grenade and made it ready, if he was going to die he would at least kill that beast that had slaughtered the people onboard.
A second explosion, much more powerful that the first one, knocked the station out of orbit and into the vast void. Dr. Long-Claws led fifteen of the remaining scientists and security personell to the cafeteria and barricaded themselves there. The cafeteria was the most easily defended area, having only two entrys and containing one of the Master Control Terminals, the one called ANDY. They put all the tables and chairs up against one of the doors and welded it shut, while welding the other and rigging it with mines and grenades.
''ANDY, you must shut down all non-essential systems except the satasis fields.''
''ERROR NEED ORDER FROM EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR FOR SUCH TERMINATION'' was ANDY's mechanical reply.
''We're experiencing a power shortage and if you do not shut down the systems, the Omegas will escape and kill all of us.''
''WERE IS THE EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR'' ANDY asked, as curious as a machine can be.
''He's dead, ANDY, as will we all be if you do not shut the systems down!'' shouted the professor.
''DEAD?''
''He is... uh, deleted.'' Long-Claws explained, hoping the computer would understand the concept of deletion better.
''I WILL MISS HIM''
''ANDY, if you do not shut down the systems we will all be deleted. Your primary directories says that you must prevent the death of a lion at all costs right?
''THAT IS CORRECT I WILL SHUT DOWN ALL NON-ESSENTIAL SYSTEMS AND SHIFT THE EXCESS POWER TO THE STASIS FIELDS AND LIFE-SUPPORTING SYSTEMS''
''Thank you, ANDY.''
''YOU'RE WELCOME''
Half an hour later ANDY had been able to repair the secondary HailSys and, on Dr. Long-Claws' order, sent a nonencrypted message for help to Liberty One. Ten minutes after that the Libertarian governement sent a message asking for help from other governements and prepared to send a team of highly trained specialsists from the Marine Corps and an officer form SODOIA.

The small shuttle slowly approached the dark research station, the spotlights illuminating the cold steel that formed the hull. In several places gping holes had been formed by the explosions that had sent the station out of orbit.
Number One looked at the port where he and his team would dock. A flahsback of the briefing played before his eyes.
''A few hours ago we lost contact with the Nemesis, our foremost biological weapons research facility. We have confirmed reports that several of the latest experiments, called the Omegas, have escaped from their stasis cells.'' the captain said while the screen showed a picture of the creature, displaying all available information about it.
''Apparently, fifteen people of the crew survived and have barricaded themselves in the cafetria..'' he continued, but was interrupted by the corporal.
''Fifteen of two hundred?''
''Correct. Now your mission is to activate the station's main thrusters and to push it back into orbit and rescue the surviving personell. You will be escorted by an officer from the SODOIA.''
The shuttle docked and the hatches opened. The dim light tried its best to illuminate the narrow pentagonal corridor but failed miserably, and the corridor remained mostly pitchblack.
''Flashlights on. Number Four, you take point, Five and Three you cover him, the rest of you stay near me and Zero.''
The stepped inside...
The small gray shuttle moved quickly through the void of space. It had just exited hyperspace a few minutes ago. The shuttle was a military vessel from Techon. Not very big in size, about forty feet long, and not at all interesting. But it got the job done. It had one destination to go to at the moment: the Nemesis Station. Techon had received the distress call, and sent troops in order to aid. Not only could benefits mean a new ally, but possibly new weaponry as well.
The ship had eight men on board total, two scientists, four soldiers, and two pilots. The commander was Colonel Dirk Benton. Next in rank was Seargeant Erik Reiger, then Privates James Thonner, and Scott Dail. The two scientists were Keith Manton, a biologist; and Bruce Trecker; a weapons engineer. As the shuttle got closer and closer to the station, Colonel Benton spoke to his team.
"Alright men, we're to go in, try to bring order back to this station, bring it back to RL, and get out of here."
"Sir, what exactly happened on that station?" Private Dail asked.
"A new biological weapon, of their own creation, it got lose I guess. Apparantly its the perfect killer. These things are dangerous, they took over the station in no time at all. We'll be on our guard at all times." He looked at the scientists. "You two are here in order to pick up some information on them as we are here."
There was a click and then a hiss as their shuttle hooked onto the air lock. They all got up, all the soldiers were wearing the reinforced Techon armor. The scientists wore basic combat jumpsuits. All the soldiers had X-17 Pulse Rifles. But Thonner and Dail carried around four boxes as well, in one box was a mini-gun portable turret. In the other was a spider-sentry unit. In a third was a rocket launcher with six rockets, and in the fourth was explosives. On Thonner's back was another suit-fitting box that kept all the equipment he needed to open locked doors, drill through doors, or even if needed; drill through walls. And there was still more equipment on the shuttle.
They walked down the hallway slowly, Benton and Reiger in the front, with their motion sensing visors on. Then the scientists were in the middle, equiped with Pulse Pistols, then Thonner and Dail were in the back. As Dail walked out the ship he heard the pilot tell the co-pilot to prepare to break away.
"You're not staying docked?" Private Dail asked.
"No," The pilot said. "Too dangerous, we're going to hang around the station though. If you need a quick get-away, just let us know."
And with that the pilot closed the door to the cockpit, and Private Dail was forced to follow the others. They got out of the airlock hallway, and were in a little room with two doors, one leading to the air lock, the other leading deeper into the stations. Benton and Reiger checked the room, it was clear.
"Alright boys," Benton said. "Thonner, start setting up the turrets and sentry. Reiger, stay here with Thonner, Dail, follow me back to the ship so we can get the rest of the equipment."
"What about us?" Bruce Trecker, the youngest of them all, asked.
"Do whatever you do, explore around," Benton said before he and Dail went back to the ship.
Trecker looked at Manton, and the two went and asked Thonner if there was anything they could help set up. Meanwhile Dail and Benton unloaded all the equipment off the shuttle, and it soon broke away from the station. After a little bit they had the entire camp set up, flood-light stands blaring on the only entry into the room, two mini-gun turrets set up, and a sentry-unit.
"Alright men, this room is now the safe room," Benton said. "If anything gets out of hand, you are to return to this room. Anything else that comes through that door is going to be blown away. Got it?"
"Got it," The rest replied.
"I've got a bad feeling about this.." Thonner said as he looked around.

They slowly made their way inwards, towards the cafeteria. The floor was full of blood and gore, up to three inches thick, and Number Six leaned against the wall to throw up. The Marine Corps' standard breakfast joined the maimed corpses on the floor, adding to the stench.
The corridor here was even more narrow that the one at the docking bay, forcing the troopers to stand in a line only one man broad.
''Number Four, you take point. Number Five, you stay behind him, Zero to me. The rest of you cover our backs.''
''Got that sarge'' said Number Four and moved up the line, checking that his flamethrower was loaded and ready to fire.
The corrdior up ahead was the north main corridor with several smaller ones leading to the storage rooms and cafeteria.
''Which one?'' asked Number Four.
''I don't know, we haven't got any map on this place.'' replied Number One.
''Try the first one on the right.'' he continued.

The Colonial Marines were huddled in the belly of the dropship, their faulty dropship, creaking under the ever-so-minor strain of the normal impulse engines. Powered by hydrogen fuel cells and warp plasma, this ship was completley destroyed on the inside.
The battle had been fought viciously, between the Snake Eaters and Helghast forces on Gravis, an ice world distant from the capital, but still of great strategic advantage to either side. This ship had been damaged during an assent, the damage to the warp core killing almost all the platoon onboard. Only three men had survived. The ship was drifting through the void, alone, the power and heat rapidly dwindling. They huddled round the single glow-lamp, but even that was flickering after almost thirty-six hours of non-stop usage. Their weapons were fully charged, and they hadn't slept much. The omnious creaking was scary to anyone, especially humans trapped alone on it.
There was a shuddering impact, as the ship crunched into the side of the station. It's sheer bulk allowed it to pentrate the hull, and the Marines emergeed slowly. Using only hand movements, they began to move into the station...
They had left the room, they had turned the turrets onto automatic. So if anything that was classified as unfriendly opened that door, they would receive a barage of armor-peircing bullets, as well as pulse shots from the sentry. The squad moved slowly down the hallway, Dail. and Benton in front, the scientists in the middle, and Thonner and Reiger covering their backs. Dail, along with his pulse rifle, had a small mini-gun turret on his shoulder and strapped to his back. He had on the special helmet with the aiming visor, where his eyes went, the gun barrel looked. The trigger was pulled mentally through an implant into his cerebrum, he'd think about firing it, and it'd fire.
The rest of them had lights mounted on their backs, along with the motion sensing visors. They could see better than they hoped. As they passed along one wall, there were two benches up against it, and sitting in one of the benches was a dead human, the torso was sliced open, and the head was missing. They stopped and examined it.
"Oh my God.." Manton said as he looked at the body. "What could have done this?"
"Their new weapons obviously," Thonner said, he then glanced above the body, and above the blood on the wall. There was a poster hanging up. "'Nemesis Weaponry: Making a Safer Galaxy.' Wow, they're doing a good job."
"Shush," Benton said. "Keep moving. There's another squad heading up for the cafeteria, from RL. They're heading for the survivors. There is also another squad, it just boarded."
"Are we going to meet up with any of them?" Reiger asked.
"RL's squad, they'll be with the survivors soon, and once we find the survivors, they can tell us what to do next." Benton said, and the squad picked up the pace, moving quickly up the steps and making way for the cafeteria.
(OOC: Are the Omegas under your command only RL? Or are we aloud to use them as well to kill our guys?)

"Sarg..."
"I saw it, Trooper"
The Marines were looking at another body. This one had his head left, but no limbs. It was if they had been torn away... but by what?
"Hows that system sweep coming along?"
They had found a room with a few computer terminals, most of them smashed and inoperable, but one was left functioning. Trooper Beaumont was even now trying to break through the system lockouts, his weapon laid on the bench in front of him,"It's impressive system coding... but I can break it"
"Anyway to access internal sensors?"
"None, I can't access them at the moment"
Sergeant Bacon sighed,"Carry on, Trooper"
He scanned around the room, using his night-vision capacity in his helmet over the visible light attached to his rifle. It was large, but unmarked... weapons had been fired in here at some stage, the bullet casings were enough to make that clear. There was blood everywhere... and he couldn't help but mutter to himself,"What happened here"
"I can tell you one thing, the name of the project. It was called Omega... a project to create the ultimate in biological weaponry. The files are corrupted... but I can clean it up some"
"Do so. We'll stand guard"
"Sounds like The Leviathan Project to me"
"Maybe... but that used humans as subjects, to create the ultimate solider"
"Either way, this doesn't sound good"
"Agreed... make your weapons ready men"
Khal was in her ship, a fifty meter heavily modified personal transport, the Hunt-ship. She was examining one of her trophies, a Kaiser blade from a full grown Ultralisk, when she got the transmission saying about a station that had been developing the 'ulitmate' in killing machine. She smiled a predatory grin, "These should make an interesting prey." Khal thought, as she set the ship to head toward the station.
Once the Hunt-ship arrived in system, she began preparing for the hunt, at least in terms of gear, she was always phyicially and mentally prepared. Once fully prepared she docked and headed into the station.
She saw the blood, and butchered flesh and smiled under her suit's helmet. She went hunting.
ooc: She has a shift-suit, which makes visible sight very difficult, though detecable by IR, sonic, radar, and UV. Doesn't mute sound either.
The squad moved down another long dark hallway. This one showed signs of struggle, clips, guns, and bodies were scattered all about. There were marks on the walls from bullets, blood stains, and from something else, as if something was clawing into it. The soldiers cept moving, but stopped at an odd sight. Reiger bent down and picked up a gun, that was completely bent in the middle. He tried to bend it, but he couldn't get it to move.
"Sir, do you know how much force it'd take to bend something like this?" He asked Benton.
"It'd take a damn lot," The Colonel replied. "Thonner, do you know what caused this?"
Thonner overlooked the weapon, but shook his head. "I don't know any tools that would do this. Think it was one of those ultimate biological weapons?"
"If it was, they are a lot more dangerous than we presumed," The Colonel said. "Be on guard men, if you see anything move, shoot it."
Almost right on cue, Dail saw something move in the shadows behind them through his motion senser, it can from the duct. It was silent as hell, before he could see what it was he raised his gun and fired. As the shot flew and hit the target, everyone turned around with their guns raised ready to fire if needed. But it was not needed, there was no harm from what moved. They were now looking at an arm, the flesh seared from Dail's shot. Whoever the arm belonged to was obviously already dead.
"Let me restate," The Colonel said. "Shoot anything that is a threat and moving."
"Sorry sir, I didn't think before I-"
"Its ok soldier, we're all a little jumpy. Just don't do that again, you might have already given away our position. Keep moving."
The squad kept walking down the hallway, and as they did, the arm was quietly pulled back up. And bones were quietly crunched.
Khal heard the sound of gun-fire. "So, other people are here for the Hunt." She commented to herself as she headed in the direction of the shooter. She stepped in a puddle of blood, looked down and giggled as she continued the Hunt.
The others kept moving on. Slowly but surely, stopping now and then to look at the damage that the creatures had caused. The two scientists in the middle were getting extremely nervous, especially Trecker. This was one of his first "field" jobs. He'd always been in the lab till this. And now here he was, looking at the dead bodies of dozens of others. He also had a distinct feeling something was behind them, following them, but he could never see anything when he turned around. He didn't know why he bothered to turn around, there was Thonner and Reiger covering their backs the entire time. If they saw anything, he'd know.

OOC: Oh wtf, I can't sleep.
Techon: You are free to start attacks by Omegas as long as they interact with your group, and you can control them during the attack. Otherwise, I'm in charge of the bloodthristy little monsters.

The squad made their way through the corridor.
''Looks like we made the right choice, corporal'' said Number Four, pointing at a sign saying that the cafeteria was about four hundred metres away.
''OK squad, let's hurry up, third degree of speed.''
After only a few metres gunfire echoed throughout the station, ripping through the silence previously only disturbed by the thumping of the marines' boots against the floor.
''What was that, corporal?!'' number Four asked.
''It seems as if we're not alone out here, the help requested must have arrived at last.''
''They must not obtain any specimen, corporal. Prevent it with your lives if you must.'' said Number Zero.
''Sir, yes sir!'' replied the corporal automatically.
''Squad, let's move out. That gunfire must have caught the attention of the Omegas.''
The squadmembers started joggingdown the corridor, not minding the blood that was everywhere, though they couldn't get rid of the feeling that someone, or something, was stalking them.
The squad was getting closer and closer to the cafeteria. They were almost there, but then they heard a noise. Many footsteps, like that of other soldiers. The squad took cover and waited for the other group to come by, ready whether they were freindly, or hostile.

''Hold it!'' commanded Number One, his IR had shown the Techons.
''Number Five and Six, you check it out. Three will cover you.'' he said quietly and raised his SMG, pointing it towards the nearest heat signal.
''Hold it right there! Identify yourselves!'' shouted Five to the Techon squad.
In another corridor, just a few hundred metres away, a creature awoke....
"Sir..." Reiger said.
"I am Colonel Benton, of the Techon military!" Benton shouted out. "With me is my squad, Seargeant Reiger, and Privates Thonner, and Dail! We also have two scientists with us, a biologist; Manton, and a weapons engineer; Trecker! We received a distress call from here and we were sent to help in any way possible! We have a decent amount of weapons with us as well, and a base set up if you need any protection!"
Khal froze when she heard voices, voices occasionally meant either huntables, or those who tried to hunt the hunters. She began advancing but at a much slower speed, being carefull to stick to the shadows to improve the concealment offered by the shift-suit.
As she listened to the two groups of sometimes prey, she could smell and sense something, something Huntable. She decided to see what she could learn about the Huntable from the sometimes prey, though she wouldn't step in just yet.

Bacon's grip tightened on his weapon a littler more, and he brought it up, pointing it at the door. At his hip, the .45 USP Tactical felt like a lead weight, his powerpacks for the weapon were in their pouches. He could feel everything, his senses attuned,"Trooper, how long before that download is complete?"
"Two minutes," came the response, as Trooper Beaumopnt downloaded all the data he could find. Even if he couldn't decrypt it, he was sure that if it was taken back to Snake Eaters, and fed into S.I.O.N (Snake Intelligence Optical Network), then the mighty parallel processing super-computers that made up the system core, buried five hundred feet under the Adminstrium, capable of breaking a 256-bit encryption code in less than an hour, could almost certainley decrpyt it, and tell them what the hell had been going on. After two minutes, he plucked the memory solid from the access port, and slid it back into his belt kit,"All done, Sarg"
"Right, let's go. Johnstone, take point, Beaumont, watch our rear"
As a single fluid unit, the Marines left the room, and started moving in the direction of the gunfire, their boots making next to no noise on the floor, slick as it was with blood. Inside their helmets, the vision enhancments and built-in sensors were working overtime to produce not only a picture in front of them, but also a usable 2 and 3D map(s) for this station. Their weapons were in their shoudlers, and the only light came from when they moved through a patch of flickering lamps, as the overhead lighting struggled to maintain it's power. They kept moving...

''Sir, they claim to be our backup and they come from a nation called Techon.'' yelled Number Five.
''Very well, I am a corporal of the Libertarian Marine Corps, with me is my squad and an officer of the Special Operations Departement Of Internal Affairs. We happily accept whatever aid you may lend us, but for now we should take cover within the cafeteria.'' Number One said to the Techon colonel, lowering his weapon but keeping it ready.
''We beleive that there might be survivors that can tell us what happened here... What's that?!''
Tip tap tip tap
The Omegas crept closer, about twenty of them and just fifty metres away. They were invisible to IR and it was too dark to see anything, even with NV goggles.
The dorr to the cafeteria might still be within reach, only twenty-five metres away.
The squad raised their weapons and tried to find anything to take aim at.
''Number Four, fire your flamethrower. Let's see if these things can burn.
The Techon marines all got up and took positions in the Libertarian marine lines. Dail readied the mini-gun on his shoulder and all of them readied their pulse rifles. Manton and Trecker stood behind them just a little bit.
"What should we do?" Manton asked.
"Uhh...sir?" Thonner asked Benton.
"Run for the cafeteria, if you see anything, kill it, we'll cover this way," Benton said. "Reiger, go with them."
Reiger lowered his weapon and turned around and led the two scientists towards the cafeteria in a dash while all the other soldiers stood their grounds and waited.
Khal had managed to get near to the sometimes prey, primarily by moving in the shadows and taking her time, and decided to follow them. She continued after them, speeding up a bit and because of the lighting systems being forced out of the shadows, with the result being she would appear as an transparent humanoid, primarily an indistinct outline.

The Omegas had tried to sneak up on them, but somehow the prey had heard them.
A burst of burning gas ignited the lead Omega, causing the others to charge headlong into battle.
''Run!'' cried Number One to his troops, bringing his submachinegun to bear and firing on full auto.
''Number Three and Four, you cover us! Retreat slowly but you better make it to those doors before we're forced to leave you.''
''Yes sir!'' they answered as Four fired his flamethrower again, setting another Omega ablaze and Three crouched to fire his light machinegun. The Omegas shrugged of the laser bolts that hit them in the pelvis and tail, but the head seemed more vulnerable.
The others in the group dashed for the door to the cafeteria, unfortunately welded shut by the survivors hiding in there, it would take some time to open it.
The blood and gore that covered the floor made it slippery and it was hard to run at full pace, let alone escape the Omegas. Suddenly the lights went out and all became dark, except a small point in the far end of the corridor. A crack in the door let some of the light in the cafeteria out, acting as a beacon for the groups.

A group of twenty Omegas stalked the Snake Eater group and as they left the computer room, the Omegas entered. The lead one looked cursiously at the computer terminal which they had accessed, and with one blow destroyed it far beyond the point of repair.
The lights went out and it all became pitchblack in the entire sector of the station.
Techon retreated with the others, leaving Dail to provide backup as well. They dashed down the hallway to the welded cafeteria door. Thonner crouched down beside it, quickly pulling out encro-dusted steel cutter. He turned it on, and started sawing through the door.

''If you saw through the door, we won't be able to close when the Omegas come, just cut the welding open with laser or something.''
Number Three and Four fell back and joined their comrades at the door, still firing at the Omegas, who had now learned their lesson and stayed out of range from the flamethrower, beacause although the flames didn't injure them very much it still dealt them a great deal of pain.
Thonner immediately stops and looks up. "How are we gonna get in then?"
Dail comes catching up with everyone else, his mini-gun still blaring down the hallway. He walks up next to Benton while still firing at the enemies.
"I dont even know if I've taken one of them down yet sir."
"These are quite the weapons then, aren't they?" Benton said. "Reiger, why aren't you firing?!"
Reiger was currently in a state of shock, but he snapped out of it, and started firing down the hallway. Their blue pulse shots lighting up the darkness as they flew.

Thonner reached quickly into his pack again, and pulled out a laser drill, He aimed it at the welding and started torching through it.
Meanwhile the two scientists threw themselves on the ground, leaning against the wall they put their arms over their heads and closed their eyes. The other three soldiers continued to fire down the hallway.

A noise, coupled with the sudden dissappearance of all lights within the sector was enough to make all three of the Marines freeze on the spot. Resisting the urge to flick on his torch beam, Trooper Beaumont backed up until he came into contact with Sergeant Bacon,"Sarg... what the hell is going on here?"
"I don't know Trooper... I don't know... but I guess we'd best not stay here... there's an area up ahead that still has power, and the sensors show lifesigns... humanoid... we'll move there. Keep your weapons hot from now on"
They began to move again, albeit slightly faster than they had been going orginally

Someone on the inside had appearantly thought that it might be a good idea to get a laser torch to open the doors later, and started cutting open the door from the inside and after about twenty second the doors opened and a scientist yelled at them to hurry up so that they could close the doors again.
Thonner, being right in front of the door dashed inside. Then Reiger went in. Benton grabbed onto Manton and Trecker and pushed them inside as well. The last to get in was Dail.
They all gathered around the door, waiting, and helping, the rest as they came in through the doorway.

The lead Omega sniffed, catching the smell of the small group of Snake Eaters. It turned and sneaked out into the narrow corridor, there hadn't been as many crewmen here as in the other places and so the floor was easily traversable, and saw the humans with its IR-like vision.
It hissed, and the pack attacked.

IC: "What the f**k is that!"
"Who gives a damn, shoot the f**kers!"
Crass language to be sure, but effective. The sudden attack has stunned them all, to say the least. Their weapons were hot, fully charged, fully automatic. With little recoil, they could squeeze the trigger and hold on until the barrel melted, and still hit the target. Still, they didn't do that. They laid down a fusilade of firepowers, a hell of a lot for a group of three people. Bacon grabbed a grenade from his belt, throwing it in the direction from which the attack was coming from. It was a standard fragmentation grenade, specifcially altered so that it didn't pierce starship hulls when used in combat. Still, the damage to the surroundings from both the shrapnel and the explosion was immense. In such close quaters, the Marines were lucky not to be hit by anything

''Is everyone here?'' asked Number One as he stepped through the doorway.
''I'm here.'' said Zero and the other soon followed, all but one. As they looked out into the corridor, they saw that Number Five had slipped on something, a liver or similar, and now struggled to get up before the Omegas caught him.
''Hurry, Number Five!'' they all yelled.
But it was too late, the scientist were already closing the door. But wait, Five managed to get up! He was sprinting towards the closing doors with an Omega just behind him, he could still make it! And then the doors closed, a jet of blood penetrated the small gap where the lasers had cut the welding open. The screams lasted for five entire minutes...
"Jesus Christ..." Manton said.
"Better start saving our asses again quickly," Dail continued.
"Everyone here?" Benton asked looking around, already knowing the answer. His squad sat or stood around, in one peice but battle beaten. Trecker was staring blindly into the distance, completely absorbed in shock. Manton was a little better than him, but breathing heavily, his eyes looking all around. Reiger was out of breath, but fine other than that. Thonner seemed to be fine, putting away his tools as he sat on the ground. Dail was blowing smoke away from the barrel of his gun, slightly out of breath, but other than that; perfectly fine. Benton himself was a little shaken, he had never seen anything like those take the kind of fire they had put up with.
He shook his head, and looked around. He looked at the corporal from RL. "We never had a proper introduction, as I said, my name is Colonel Benton. I'm sorry about your losses, they must have been honorable and brave men to stand their guard as long as they did."

The gunfire didn't hurt the Omegas, thogh it slowed them down considerably and made it hard to see the prey.
The packleader was considering a stealthier approach when one of the humans threw some kind of canister at him. He looked curiously at it, wondering why they would throw such harmless shiny object at him. The grenade ripped through the exosceleton, the only thing so far to manage it, and the shrapnel teared through the organs and transformed the creature into a heap of blood and gore, similar to that which covered the floor in the other places. The rest of the shrapnel bounced harmlessly off the armour of the rest of the Omegas, although one took a hit in the eye and died almost instantly.
The acid blood of the Omegas started eating through the floor, fortunately the inner hull was protected by a force field that would prevent the hull from being penetrated.
There was something strange about this one, it emitted heat radiation like all the others but it didn't smell like anything else and it moved almost completely silent, sneaking in the shadows. But to the Omega stalking Khal, this didn't matter, food was food no matter what it smelled like.
The Omega halted, only twenty metres away, and down below was the strange creature that would soon be food. Letting go off the ceiling the Omega fell down on the floor, accidentaly hitting a trashcan...

The rest of the squad was uneasy to say the least, but not as bad as Six. The acid blood of the Omegas started eating through the floor, fortunately the inner hull was protected by a force field that would prevent the hull from being penetrated.
Bacon glanced over the desk which he was hidden behind, firing off another twenty 'rounds' of pulse fire, and taking in what he could see. Blood, gore... it was everywhere. His armour, already blackened in the fights before, the impact and otherwise, was dented in many places. He looked at the floor as he fired, and saw the acid begin to eat away at the floor plating. It was that made him stop. His mistake. As he stopped to look, he was taken out. Torn limb from limb, his blood spilling across the walls, merging with the stuff that was already there. The smell of copper in the air was intense.
Troopers Beaumont and Johnstone saw their Sergeant get dismembered in real time, right before their eyes. Some of his blood sprayed across their battle armour, and they silently thanked Leviathan for the filters that prevented them from smelling when encased in here. They had no other choice, priming another two grenades, and then running for their lives, firing over their shoulders as they went. As they ran, the grenades exploded, the shockwave punching them in the back, sending both flying through the air. Beaumont crashed into a wall with a sickening crunch, but he staggered to his feet, regardless of his injuries. Johnstone was lucky in some respects... he landed in some corpses. He too pulled himself to his feet, and they ran for the bulkhead, trying to force the door open...

That didn't phase the Marines, trying desperatley to force the door open. Beaumont had a panel open, trying to figure out how to wire the door so it would open. Johnstone stood over him, watching the creatures,"Would you just hurry the fuck up!"
"Shut it. I'd like to see you do this... this one here... that connects to that spot... this should be it"
The door slid open for them, just enough for them to squeeze through. Beaumont went first, followed by Johnstone, who then jammed the door closed again, priming up some plastic explosive with a proximity fuse, and slapping it onto the door frame. Anything came through that door, it was getting vaporised. The two men collapsed, panting hard, on the far side. Both allowed the faces of their helmets to slide apart, getting a good look at each other,"What just happened, Tom?"
"Good question, Rob... a good question"
"What the fuck were those things?"

"Ah, fucking perfect. Sarg's dead, ship's bust, and we're stuck here with these bloody creatures that are designed as the ultimate in bio weapons... not what I signed up for, Tom"

The seven Omegas hissed and roared at each other, then two of the larger ones clashed. The pack needed a new leader, this was the election. Claws ripped through artificially hardened exosceleton, jaws sank into the relatively soft belly and a tail pierced a brain, and then it was over. The winner cried out in victory and the rest of the pack rythmically slammed their tailes to show that they recognized him as their leader.

Johnstone tapped softly on the door,"Anyone in there"

''We're not really sure but it seems as if the stasis fields in the laboratory malfunctioned again, I never did like those, ghastly things really if you want my opinion. If they are intelligent, then they will not want to be used as you plan on doing so. Everything thats enslaved wants to be free, and this is these creatures ways of doing so; killing."
''The station can be repaired and we have quite enough citizens, the families of those killed will of course receive a generous sum of money to compensate for their loss of income.
The Omegas merely do what they are programmed to do, the only difference between this and a successful mission is that they're doing it to us. They are not intelligent as we are, more like pets...''
''Enough!'' interrupted Number Zero.
''I will not perish just because you two are too busy arguing that you wouldn't notice if someone yanked that door open and let the creatures inside. What we really need is a stratagem, a plan.''
Khal had been watching the interplay between scientist and soldier with amusment. She began flexing her wrist causing a 13" blade to slid in and out.
"Fine, a plan," Thonner said. "What plans do you have?"
Benton walked up behind Thonner and spoke quietly to him. "Thonner, I do not wish you to speak like that to them again. We may still benefit from this somehow, and remember, our team is still alive."
"I am sorry sir," Thonner said and backed away.
Benton then spoke to everyone else. "We have a base we set up when we arrived, it is heavily protected and we have many weapons in storage there. Including grenades, rocket launchers, and a few sentry-units. One of which is standing guard, along with auto-matic mini-gun turrets."

''Very well, we'll try to get there. We should be able to fend off the Omegas if we march together.''
''I'm not going, I'm staying right here where it's safe.'' said Number Zero.
''It will be safer at their encampment, sir.''
''No, I'm staying here. You all go out and be slaughtered by those things, I don't care, but I am not going anywhere.''
''Well sir, me and my squad is going. Let's move out!''
"Are we all fine with heading back to our base camp?" Benton asked his squad. They all seemed semi-willing. Trecker was the hardest to get an answer out of, but he eventually shook his head up and down. They all eventually got up, recharged, and Dail put the mini-gun back on his shoulder.
"We're ready."

OOC: this is definitely my last post for tonight.
IC:
The squad picked up their weapons, they were clearly not eager to go out there again but the idea of finding somewhere safe to sleep and forget the horrors were impossible to resist. Only Number Six openly showed his fear by repeating the phrase ''We're all gonna die!'' very quickly and very quietly, almost whispering.
Khal turned to the guy who claimed to be the head scientist, "Do you have a map of the station?"

''Oh dear gods no! Don't kill them, your mission was to activate the main thrusters to push this station back into orbit so that we can pick up the research where we left.''
"Listen pal, get fucked. I'm only here because our ship went tits-up. I am gonna kill anything that tries to eat me. Barriers... you're delusional."
Johnstone turned in disgust, and started to follow the other squads. It was better to keep in a group than try and fight it out alone.

Khal turned to the guy who claimed to be the head scientist, "Do you have a map of the station?"
''We do, we managed to download it into a datapad before the computer was destroyed.'' he said and gave her a small silver-like dish with a small round hole on the top. Upon activation it would display a 3D map of the station, complete with airvents and elevator shafts.

Beaumont paused to look at the map, and then indicated with his finger at a point on the far side of the station,"That's where our ship impacted with the station. The entire compartment is depressurised, just thought I'd warn you."
He paused, then continued,"Sorry about my companion... he and the Sergeant were very close friends... they'd seen almost everything. When Charlie got caught... it was horrific. But he does have a point. We can't try and tame these creatures anymore, we have to eliminate them. Or, at the very least, not give them the means to escape this station"

''Don't worry, we're all shaken by the situation.
You're right, we can't allow them to escape, that would be a significant threat to the safety of the galaxy and the end of my research. The Omegas must be captured and put in a stasis field until we can make sure that they do not attack us again, some sort of mental prohibitor would work I guess. But the station will have drifted beyond the borders of Relative Liberty in a few hours and my governement refuses to deploy troops outside the nation, we must activate the main thrusters and fly the station back into orbit.'' Long-Claws said while he was putting on a spacesuit.
The badly wounded were left in the room but the others were wither carried or walked by themselves. The marines picked up their weapons, reloaded them and made sure to have their grenades ready.

In the other side of the station, in a storage area for food and other supplies, something was stirring. Larger and more inteligent than the other Omegas, more vicious and bloodthirsty and with even finer senses than the standard Omega. It had but one thing on its mind, one singe goal: to live, eat and kill. To reign supreme in the universe. But something had disturbed the peace in her kingdom, intruders from far away had dared to challenge her, this had to be avenged. Death was the only possible outcome.
"So where are the thrusters and such? Also are there any other creatures on the station that you created?" Khal asked

"Fly into orbit... that's going to be difficult. A station of this size would prove difficult to move"

''As soon as the main thrusters are activated the autopilot should activate, so we don't have to worry about actually flying it. The journey to Realtive 21 should take about two or three hours, so there is plenty of time to leave once the thrusters are engaged.
But now we must hurry if we are to escape to that encampment.'' Long-Claws said and opened the door.
''Are you sure you're not coming, sir?'' asked Number One as he stepped out into the narrow, pentagonal corridor.
''I'm staying right here.'' answered Zero.
The constant tapping of the Omegas moving was very unnerving and the marines kept their guns ready all the time.
There were something else to, a roar of hatred and defiance that chilled them to the bone, and although they couldn't see anything in the darkness they made sure to stay together. The beasts wouldn't pick them off one at a time, that's for sure.
The Techon marines made their way silently through the hallways towards their camp along with the others. Benton was up in front, and Dail and Reiger were in the back. Thonner was keeping his eyes on the two scientists, who were in the middle. They seemed un-edged, he didnt want them doing anything stupid to give away their position. Manton constantly looked back behind them, and up at the ceiling. Trecker just had his hands on opposite shoulders, mumbling quietly to himself.
Thonner knew something bad was gonna happen before the first attack, and he was holding down the urge to say 'This is a bad idea' as they walked in one massive group. One massive herd that he knew the lions were stalking.

The Snake Eater Marines stuck with the main group, weapons at the ready, their vision enhancements helping to penetrate the inky blackness within the station. They also flinched at the roaring sound, and started to think about what it might be.
