So, after a bit of thinking, I've finally decided to host another RP. Like the ones I've been doing so far, this one is going to be invite only (after the OOC thread), and character based. For those of you who clicked to check this out, its pretty obvious by the thread's title that its going to be some sort of heist. The setting is fairly simple. An Imitoran mueseum is hosting a showing of a very nice diamond (wow...how original, lol), and an unamed buisness person will be hiring a team of profesional theifs to work together to steal said diamond.

I only need four other RPers. Basically, I need every type of character you would think nessacery, except for a driver. Yeah suprise suprise, Imitora is playing another car loving character/bad ass wheel man. Big change in that game plan. Anyways, this thread is mostly for interest, and I'll be posting up a sample bio soon for those who wish to participate. Any questions-feel free to contact me. Hope this goes over well, and start showing interest.

I haven't roleplayed much on these forums; most of the interesting and worthwhile threads are on the Nationstates forums and remain closed for the most part. However, I hope you'd give me the courtesy of participating in this particular story. It sounds very promising, and I'd definitely be interested in playing a role in it.

Heres the general outline for a character bio (note, character pic=not nessacery, I just like them). Also, your character does not need to be Imitoran, and acualy I'd prefere if they weren't

Breif Bio: Dane Resoir, formaly LtCol. Dane Resoir, Imitora Naval Air Force, was born and raised in Imitora. His mother and father, both French, raised him well, puting an emphasis on physical fitness but more importantly his grades. He did well in school, and was accepted into the prestigous Imitoran Naval University. He was further accepted into the flight program, and soon was flying for the VF-122, The Black Knights. After an incident regarding a shoot down of four aircraft of another nationality involved in war games, Resoir was honorably discharged, and given a full pention. His skill as a fighter pilot was translated into driving, and he now makes a living doing odd jobs as a driver for hire. He currently lives in Monaco, but often returns to Imitora to visit friends and family. His hobbies include motoring, boxing, and swimming.

Brief Bio: Born in Marigot, Haiti, under the rule of the conservative Sunshine Republic, Guifford grew up with a natural disdain for the white Floridian soldiers that patrolled his home's streets, policing the region for a government that was a hundred miles away. They would beat and rape the natives, pillaging what they could from a region the Republic hardly considered important. They were just another landmass for the white man to breed on, and the native women were merely a bonus. Guifford's mother was actually killed and raped, which only helped to contribute the feelings of hatred Guifford harbored towards Floridians. Because of this he took to crime at a very young age, at first robbing conveniance stores and strip malls until he was eventually caught and thrown in prison to serve a ten year term. During his time in imprisonment Levesque made dozens of valuable contacts and friends, and upon his release at twenty-seven-years-old, he would take up armed robbery for a second time, this time gifted with more knowledge and experience than previously. Though Guifford Levesque pulled off several bank jobs in his home region, Cuba, and even on mainland Florida, he was never apprehended. His reputation for secrecy and efficiency preceded him, and soon he was getting jobs in Europe. His most famous job involved the murder of a former Soviet who was transferring drug money from Paris to Madrid. Levesque made millions.

Not only does Levesque bring experience and subsequent success to the table, but he also brings a whole multitude of various talents. In addition to speaking Creole, Guifford can speak fluent English, French, and Spanish, all of which he learned from in jail, and he is currently trying to learn Dutch. He owns a small and humble home in Algiers, Algeria where he still resides to this day, though despite his outward humbleness he is as dangerous as the day he left prison and ten times wealthier than he lets on. He is extremely familiar with all manner of handguns, machine guns, shotguns, and even to a certain extent explosives like grenades and remote bombs, and he knows Europe like the back of his hand. Levesque of course doesn't deal in the trivial details of robbery; vault cracking, communications, diamond theft, and art theft he leaves to the professionals. Levesque is strictly a security guy, just in case any trouble happens by, but he's a damn good one at that.

I'd like to put this man forward as a candidate. What degree of the supernatural is allowed?

Name: Tsy the Disgraced.
Age: 112 (He is elven, who often live four to five hundred years.)
Height: 5'4
Weight: 140 lb
Specialties: fighting, break and entry, stealth.

Bio: Tsy is a Nathi, one of Mahria's major ethnic groups. They are nomadic, and most live in the jungle. His habit of stealing for kicks gained his second name, the Disgraced. He left his home tribe to go to the big city and make it big.

His fast reflexes, negociable morals, and a lack of money drove him to crime. Tsy moved through several gangs, even taking a few assignments with Mahrian Intelligence before being let go for unprofessional conduct. This experience has taught him to be an impressive knife fighter, decent with handguns, and a master of climbing and stealth.

Gambling, alchohol, and other vices have left him with a terrible debt... to unpleasant kinds of men. He's ready to do nearly anything for money.

Bio: Sierra had been a petty theif from a young age. In her early teenage years, she had learned the finer points of lock-picking which proved a great annoyance to her general community. Her parents enrolled her in several sports, hoping that a focus for her energies would curb criminal tendencies. However sports and gymnastics only added agility to her repitoire.

In college, she grew more careful with her actions, "working" her way through school, and elevating herself to the status of cat-burglar. It was a challege in which she reveled. In the years since graduation she had been caught a few times, but usually managed to wile herself out of the situation before blame was laid.

Nice bio Gaeltach. Short, to the point, and well-written. I thought I'd let you guys know I did some finishing touches on my bio, nothing major. Get those apps up folks, so we can get this show on the road!

Name: Toma Reiser
Age: 16
Height: 5' 9"
Weight: 173
Specialty: explosives, sniping, stealth, and interrogation

Breif Bio: Went through the Nation of Fortune school system (not going into details, but think USMC Boot camp for little kids). Worked for the mercenary army since he was about eight, and has been sent to just about every godforsaken hole on the planet. Is cool and under control in just about every situation he has been imersed in.

He has, as is custom by NoF mercs, an animal that he takes everywhere with him. The animal varies by soldier, but Toma happens to have a cougar. Rince, his cougar was, raised by Toma and will kill anyone who even makes a threatening move towards Toma.

Toma's weapon of choice, besides Rince, is an M40A3 sniper rifle, with a Browning BDM sidearm. Barring situations where he gets to use his rifle, he chooses An FNP-90, with a BDM, and a black KA-BAR witha tanto tip for getting down and dirty.

Still one spot open, and the RP is going tostart sometime early next week, as from tommorow to next Monday, I'll be wandering around New Orleans in a druken haze...Also, I'm gonna toss in a little twist, which I'll explian later.
