Hello all,
Just wanted to announce the founding of Drumeria, named after the Royal Family of Drum (makers of fine tobbacco).
The governing principle of Drumeria is that of the "Enlightened Despot" who profoundly cares for the needs of his people, exercising a strong hold on power in order to better provide for them and guard their personal rights (freedom of religion, financial freedom, freedom of the press and the arts) as long as they don't dabble in politics. :D
We are open to establish friendly relations with other countries in order to develop diplomatic and trade agreements.

The medium-sized, corrupt government juggles the competing demands of Law & Order, Education, and Healthcare. The average income tax rate is 17%. A robust private sector is led by the Automobile Manufacturing, Book Publishing, and Arms Manufacturing industries.
Elections have been outlawed. Crime -- especially youth-related -- is relatively low, thanks to a well-funded police force. Drumeria's national animal is the royal snake and its currency is the gold brick.
Drumeria is ranked 4102nd in the region and 62,427th in the world for Most Rebellious Youth.
