OOC: this is going to be a individual RP about one nations (yours) scientist going in to A) a new environement B) meeting new people and C) inevitably going into the chambers and Debating. So what is this think tank for? Well, read on, I promise it will be revealed quite quickly :P

IC:

*On a quiet afternoon, Prime Councilate Gregor Midelsk, elected as such for the month, gets up on the podium in the Jahovian Capitol Berbansk's main square, T.V, newspaper, and Internet news bloggers can be seen in the audience, all looking at him as he takes out his prepared speech*

"People of Jahov, and people of the world! I propose with great exuberance that the council of our great allied states have two things to announce. One, is we are now officially open to the international world!"

*a great round of polite applause follows this*

"Yes yes, now that we have gathered our nations together under one banner, we can announce our founding to the world in a fashion that can help those around the world. The council has bestowed in me to tell you that we are announcing the official need for a think tank on the subject of all of the multiverses current problems, issueing our answers through the council to the international world. Now now, I'm sure most of you are thinking precisely how we plan to solve ALL of the multiverses problems."

"Now, I can't say that it is possible, only that we wish to attempt the previously unattempted through some of the greatest minds in science, philosophy and psychiatry. So we issue to you, members of the international community, an open invitation. Come to Jahov with your finest minds, and we shall work for you, and for all nations to start to make this world a better place. We will allow the media to watch the procedings closely, for the benefit of the outside world, and we may think of founding of an international communal council to officially announce the answers to the worlds. Thank you all for listening, and may good luck and peace be brought to your nations."

As the six member delegation from the Commonwealth of Druids and Wizards comes through customs in Berbansk (the focus of many stares), one of the women and two of the men are politely informed of the local "modesty" laws. These three pull simple robes from their luggage and proceed to cover themselves.

After showing their paperwork, the six Commonwealth scientists exit the customs building and await their guide to the conferrence.

*The senator steps out again to great the new scientists*

"I am indeed quite shocked by the response, we were about to guess that no one was interested in solving the worlds issues. We thank you for your attendence my friends and collegues, and as soon as a few more nations recognize the need to solve their problems instead of deny them, we will start this think tank. Come though, in the meantime you will be staying in the Berbansk Hotel..."

*He leads the scientists up to the top floor of a pretty large and closeby hotel, showing many different rooms. Opening them up you find the suites to be rich in furnishings and simple in design, something that a practical scientist would find more then comfortable, but less then divine.*

OOC: *bump*We need at least one more nation, but I'll set a deadline. if there isn't any new applicants by next Monday (July 18,2005) then we'll start actually roleplaying. Oh, and you may of course add to the list of things to address if you think I missed something (and I have a feeling that I missed something big.)

IC:
*The Senator looked into the scientists rooms via some of the security screens idly, just checking up on them before heading offto get his own batch*

"Reskuva, take to monitoring our scientist friends, we'll be calling into an introductional meeting soon, and where's the list of our scientists?" Gregor said.

"Here sir."

"Thank you."

*Gregor looked over the list*

Tera Gregorisk- Psychiatrist
Dan Gregorisk- Astronomer
Ishmael Ellens- Microbiologist
Rachel Udensky- Sociologist, Theologist
Eren Ubensk - Geologist

Problems to address:
Crime
War
Hunger
Global Warming
Depression
Literacy
Poverty
Racism

*Short list, thought Gregor, but its good enough with other countries joining.*

"Rescuva, ready the documentarians, we're going to have to tell them they can film only when the scientists are outside, and a few minutes in the lab each, I don't want the entire media crowding up the thinking space of some of the best minds in the universe."

"Yes sir."
