"You're one insane Kraut, you know that?" Sergeant Bela Szabo, nicknamed Dracula, pointed towards the sea. "Sure, I killed some pirates when they blew the Monitor to hell, but come on... you think you'll just waltz right up to them and join their crew?"
Tatania Skorenzy just looked at him, then smiled in that way that made you want to follow the woman to the ends of the earth, even if it meant certain death. It wasn't even sexual, it was just her overwealming presence and personality, "Of course I can. After all, I made sure they were short a man, so they'll need a new cook."
Dracula wondered what she did to the cook they had, but decided he shouldn't ask. Not only would he look stupid, you didn't ask the Imperial Inquisition questions like that. Besides, they had to know where the base for the pirates was at. If Varchak hadn't culled all the non-humans he could, the rest wouldn't want to kill Imperial Marines. he thought, but again... no matter how preety she was, Skorenzy was a bad person to talk to about such things with, especially when the Inquisition did a lot of the dirty work. "All right, go. You get on and out to sea and I'll follow ten minutes later."
--------
Three hours later, Dracula was cruising out of the harbor, his high tuned one man Coastal patrol boat nearly idling. He checked his guns, making sure the four heavy machineguns were going to work. Seeing the boat said they were fine, he pushed the throttle up and his Coastal lept over the waves as it was meant to.
A few minutes later and he found his target, but went and stopped another boat first, asked a few stock questions, then headed for it. No need to be obvious, after all. Coming up beside the fishing trauler, he signaled for them to come to a stop. He spotted the Inquisitor coming on deck with a pot, but gave nothing away.
He questioned the captain and got evasive not-answers, so he insisted on boarding the boat to look around. The captain did not like the idea and just as the ship moved behind a small island away from any other boats, Skorenzy set down the pot, pulled a gun and fired twice. Szabo yelled out and fell backwards into the seat of his Coastal, unmoving. Skorenzy ran to the edge and fired a third time, then looked at the captain. "I'm not going back to prison." she said, flatly. The crew started to smile and slapped her on the back(one chose to slap lower and his shin regretted it greatly), then went back to work.
After the boat pulled away, the Sergeant sat up and chuckled. "Crazy Kraut..." He was lucky she was a good shot. If she had winged his arm or, worse, his head, he wasn't going anywhere fast. But she had shot the bullet-proof vest instead, so he merely sealed and submerged the Coastal, then headed for the Naval base. After that, he had a sub trip to the Baltic and started helping the Panterans build ships.
[OOC: I will post again some time tommorow(today, really... 2am here), but I am in the last stages of moving in and DSL service doesn't get switched on for a day or so. So don't expect me to jump if you post.
Also, if you want to be the nation where the base is at, so be it. TG me and we'll talk. If not, comment OOC and enjoy.]
