Omni-Tek Rubi-Ka

"Hey, this thing's locked."
"OK, I'll do it..."
A man in a desert Omni-Pol armor breaks the lock by shooting it with his pistol, after which he proceeds to kick the door open. The group of five enters something that looks like a hall. The ground was full of rubble, but it didn't really matter, they could scan for targets anyway, and they'd know when the last one's down. Wonders of technology.
A few shots here and there, accompanied with terrified, but short lived screaming. After a few minutes of searching, one of them hit the proverbial jackpot.
"Found them!"
The others turned and saw them too. The targets were trying to flee.
Sounds of gunfire.
Silence. No more signs of "live" cyborgs in the building.
As they looked at the disfigured corpses of the cyborgs they had just taken care of, they noticed something rather... Odd.
"Funny. Didn't know they could have children."
"Don't care. Let's go."
It was yet another one of the rather frequent Omni-Pol cyborg hunts in the still mostly untamed western Rubi-Ka. Just that they did not seem to be working as well as they should. When ever they crushed one enclave, two seemed to pop up in its place. Extincting the cyborgs had always been rather high on the priority list, but it had never happened. No matter how many of them had fallen, new ones just seemed to come out of nowhere.
