I've had this RP idea floating around in my head for a while now, and figured I'd post it up and see who's interested in joining in or not. It's a fantasy RP by the way, but fantasy adventure style...

It place in this land called Azura. Azura had been in a time of peace for years, but evil is rising in the shadows of the land. In the times of growing darkness, many are too afraid to walk the streets at night, others have succumbed to evil and joined it as thugs and thieves, while others seek shelter in the stories of heroes past told by elders around a fire. The people of Azura have need of their heroes once more, like the ones they are told of in their stories, to see What Legends Are Made Of....

Cheap catchy intro, but the limits are basic. No lame characters (we all know how to make a good character, I hope), only one character, and keep the RP to RP goodness. I'll make a character if I see some others are interested...

Background: Aidyn's past is rather unknown, even to himself. Suffering from a case of what seems to be amnesia, Aidyn wonders Azura usually alone, seeking the answers to his past. The only skill he has that he knows of is his use of the sword. There are certain unique things about him that hint towards his past. For instance, tied around the hilt of his sword his a crimson sash with ancient, dark-colored runes painted upon it. Sometimes it feels as if there is an inner war in himself, however, and certain things said his sleep some find disturbing...

Background: bounty hunter. though most do not know his name, they do know of his exploits.

OOC: what is the time period for this RP? is it like final fantasy style with swords AND guns, or just like midevial fantasy with swords and bows?

Oh, era....This is a fantasy RP as said, and it takes place in a fantasy land, as said, but to make it a bit more surreal, the world's a bit industrialized. An example of the tech level I guess could be found in FFXI or FFXII (I hate having to use final fantasy games as examples in these, don't know why though...) So the airships and other Da Vinci-style kinda machines are around as are strange kinds of musket-like guns, but swords and bows and all that good stuff are still around, as are other forms of attack and defense...

Has an enourmous amount of jewelry which is also magically silenced. Has both his sword and his dagger on his sides at all time. The sword has a lightening enchantment, and the dagger a fire enchantment.

Clothing: Plate armour, mostly, when out of armour a longish tunic (midthighs) with the forarms bound with blue cloth, his sword is always belted to his side, but out of armour he doesn't use his shield

She has the ability to heal almost any ailment on herself and others. She is beyond beautiful. Many men have asked to marry her, but she refuses. She is very inteligent and witty. She has a very big sense of humor. She is also very mean to people she doesn't know or doesn't like. Highly confident in herself.
Clothing: She wears a loose fitting purple tunic with a canvas jacket over it. Military-style pants come up to below the knee, military style boots meet them there, pants tucked into boots. Longsword attached to belt on left-side of her body, denoting preference for her left-hand. She wears a blue thread tied to her right wrist, it is a protection charm from her brother, who is a wizard. She wears a silver pendant around her neck, inscribed with the words, "Fear Not", the motto of her patron goddess, Ainne.

Race: Kitsune ( since she is in 'mortal' guise, I will be limiting some of the Kitsune's traditional magical/innate abilities )- a one tailed Kitusne, she has the three traditional forms, and has a black pelt in fox form.

Age:? lets just say very old, but certainly doesn't look it

Hair: Black, thick and very long - worn up in a 'warriors topknot' style pony tail.

Eyes: black 'with a thousand stars in their depths'

Build: slender, but with more muscles than one might guess. Though she is no stronger than any woman with her build, she has reaction times and speed far faster than a humans.

Weapons: Naginata( staff with sword ), Tanto ( knife/ dagger ), Yumi ( Bow ), Yari ( spear ), Jo & Bo ( Staff & paired sticks ), shuriken/shaken ( Assorted throwing spikes, discs, moons, stars, darts ), Katana (Japanese sword )- though seldom, far prefering the more elegant Naginata.

Kaminari was sent forth from her home lands by an Emperor who wanted reports on the 'barbarians' of the outer world. He's been died many centuries, but because he forgot to recall her before he died, she can not return home ( the following emperors did not know she was out there and so never recalled her either - and she is not allowed to ask for this herself ) So she travels the lands observing, and helping those she deems worthy.

Her name is taken from her kami associations with lightening - she can call lightning from a nearby storm, cast lightning from her finger tips, shock/stun/kill by touch, and can send small globes of it bobing about to provide light. All useage is energy draining to one degree or another and is seldom her first choice of actions.

She wears kimonos - men's and womens styles, and hakama when working outof doors, or travelling. Usually in bronzy gold hues accented with back and jewel toned blues and greens. She wears no jewelry save for a large black pearl on a necklace of fine gold chain.

Name: Gorgar

Race: Human barbarian

Age: 25

Height: 7'5

Size: 300lbs, mostly muscle but a good sized belly too

Hair: A good sized, wild orange mane that only loses length when Gorgar is quite literally stabbed in the back. At the moment the tangle reaches to his shoulders. He also has an equally fiery orange beard that rests on his belly.

Preferred weapon: Bare hands; throwing his enemies into each other. If he is in a battle, not a random brawl, he wields a massive, round, one-handed mace and both forearms are covered in heavy iron bracers to deflect bladed weapons.

Favorite activity: Bar fights are enjoyable but large battles are better. Leaping from roof tops and crushing people is always good for a laugh.

Background: Gorgar grew up in a nomadic barbarian tribe. He has always, like the rest of his kin, enjoyed fighting, and an almost childish grin fills his face during those times in battle when he is not sending lion-like roars to his God, Trelmarr. Gorgar suffers from the results of too many club wielding ogres sneaking up behind him. Multiple heavy blows to his head have removed most of his ability to reason, or even speak coherently. However, lack of intelligence does keep him from being incredibly loyal to the select few whom he has befriended. Gorgar holds people who will not shy away from a fight in the highest respect: even if they do not win the fight, an attempt is better than surrender.

Clothing: A heavy leather belt with a huge loop in it meant for holding a mace holds up Gorgar’s tanned hide pants. He wears no shoes and has a dark brown shirt that is covered with blood and dirt stains, as well as stains from every food and drink he has consumed in the past few years.

Sorry, not addressed at you but Druidic Clans.

Heh, hasn't left, just taking some alone time and work from there.

Question of how to help hasten recovery -

1) I note that Sofia has healing ability - that would help

2) find a nice thunderstorm and lay Nari out in it - the lightening would reenergize her.

3) food, a variety of foods to replace the various nutirents burned up.

4) lets not talk about Kitsune vampirism, as it's, on the whole, very misunderstood.
