... but not, alas, her birthplace.

OOC: Two nations with which my puppet Findhorn was heavily intertwined, Zamundaland and Telidia, disappeared earlier this year (to the deep regret of many, particularly those who had followed the career of the NS UN diplomat Lydia from Telidia).

For the sake of consistency, I'm RPing that they suffered a devastating earthquake and that their people are too busy with recovery to be involved in international activity.

However, I feel justified in appropriating Zamunda's Madame Gazunda's, since I suggested its slogan. What's more, it's useful for any nation with a bent for secret diplomacy, as its security systems have never been cracked and it's soon to acquire two new installations that will protect it even from psychic infiltration (if the nations involved agree). But we're still keeping to the incomparable standards of our founder. Verillia of Ardchoille and her associates, who include some of Terli's original staff, will wine, dine and entertain you in the manner to which you wish to become accustomed. Drop in anytime -- we're now on the same block as the UN, just round the corner from the Strangers' Bar.

OOC: This thread isn't a roleplay, but you're welcome to mention the establishment in passing. Just remember it's very high class and very secure from eavesdropping. (The staff, however, are very intelligent, have excellent memories and hope to retire rich ...). Oh, and Verillia's a witch; the human-size Ardchoille Cat who accompanies her is Meraut; and you should use them only as non-speaking characters. (For newcomers, that means you can write, "At one end of the room he could see the renowned courtesan Verillia chatting with the Ambassador," but you can't write, "Verillia moved towards him. 'Here's your drink, Ambassador,' she said sweetly, pouring it over his medals.")
