Ohhhhh, iggy list! Someone please help me! The comments I can say without your knowledge of them (proof there is knowledge in there). My hosting obviously prevented your participation in this cup with minimal RPs. When 32nd in the world and hardly any RPs, you shouldn't expect to go far. Spruitland is a great example of a newb RPing. Participating more than just about anyone, Spruitland (gender yet to be determined) deserved to make it as far as he/she did. I know you are not the only one for LE has been in your neighbourhood (only he hasn't complained and whined as much). :eek:

I am confused as to why LE and Oliverry would want to do a joint bid? Not that I have any say in the matter now but with the small amout of teams that compete (compared to NSWC) it would seem one host nation would be alright.

Of course, i never get why Vilita uses a co-host for BoF or why there are dual hosts for the CoH so maybe that's just me.

LEAHL and OHL would like to pull a joint bid for Cherry Cup XIV. Here are the main parts of it.

Formats:

Firstly, something that will not change: the way to form the groups in preliminary phase:

They will be drawn using the way the World Championship uses, which means that we will use the ordr of last cup to place the teams in groups. For example, in the case there are 8 groups of 4 teams each:
1st, 9th, 17th and 25th are in Group A
2nd, 10th, 18th, 26th are in Group B
3rd, 11th, 19th, 27th are in Group C
4th, 12th, 20th, 28th are in Group D and so on

In case there are 30 teams:
- The 2 hosts are getting a bye.
- 2 parts: Preliminary and Playoffs
- Preliminary:
- 7 groups of 4 teams each
- Each team plays twice against each team of his group
- The first 2 teams go to the playoff round
- Playoffs:
- 4 rounds: Round of 16, Quarter-finals, semi-finals, final.

In case there are 32 teams:
The same format as used in the World Cup of Soccer, excepted that the teams will play twice each teams of his group.

I think the OLE bid looks lovely and goregous and full of pictures but I still don't get the need for dual hosts. But good luck to OLE anyways!

And if I recall correctly, LE uses a calc for scoring and Oli uses a spreadsheet. Will you two be merging them together or something? And are you still planning the Best of Whichever for the finals, since that's always been my complain (against the Best of Series for the finals, but I ain't voting this time. Just curious).
