The Kingdom of Themacia, known as "Temos" in the language of the people who live within its boundries, is perhaps the most curious nation on the planet. It retains essences of classical Greek and Roman thought, whilst simultaneously being a major center of technological progress. It is one of the oldest remaining monarchies, now almost 1150 years old. The volcanic island chain was settled by Roman colonists around 912AD, and still retains one of the highest density of Roman ruins of any country.
