The Star Forge from KOTOR is basicly an extremely large factory that can make large fleets in a small amount of time. If you want to know more about it just do a search on google.

Plot outline
My nation will be invaded by a force of Shivans(controlled by me) after the shivans are defeated my fleet is almost completely destroyed. While going throught the archives of a captured shivan ship a file with the location of the star forge is found. My Empire has no idea what the star forge is so a small battle group is sent to see what it is. I eventually use it to rebuild my fleet and then begin to expandf my empire through military force. The star forge and much of the fleet i build with it will most likely be destroyed in the end.

So is using it gomodding or not, my nation has a 3.2 bill pop just so you know.

Godmodding is all relative. It depends on who you're RPing with. Hell...some people ignore all future tech...so I guess there are people out there who think I'm godmodding!

For me at least it seems like a quick solution. Quick solutions are neither interesting or well-written by default. Conflict is what we want.

Keep in mind the fleet still needs to be crewed, and the crew will need to be trained. So, you could easily have part of the war be about using your remnant assets to defend yourself as the new fleet gets a skeleton crew.

And those using Death Stars overtly tend to be ignored. Personally, the Forge is a godmode, simply because it can be used in war time to create an endless fleet of robot fighters or such.

I use massive fleet yards in my rps to justify my massive fleets in my Rps, so a Star Forge wouldn't be considered godmodding to moi.

Course I'm flat out liberal minded when rping, as having fun's more important than worrying about statistics. If ya want to use it, I have little qualms.
