Everyone might know me better from the name "Reformed Velmora" or "Kain Shentavo" so I am hardly a new player as my post count might suggest. This nation however, is new, and I want to get some form of introduction into the world. I hardly want to go down the lines of "Hello everyone, this is Raridon telling everyone we exist!". I want something slightly different, but still cliched. But hey, what are you going to do.
Here is the idea. My nation is mostly dead. It is a desert nation, a nation which until now has been completely irradiated. But the fallout is now over, due to the nature of the devices used and various methods to reduce the damage by the populance.
Flares have been going up from Raridon, a nation which previously was considered utterly useless but for avid sand collectors and outlaws who might try and join the various raider factions. Strange flares which seem to suggest that the nation requires assistance, weak flares coming from a specific point. The point that is most prone to sand storms, and within a deep grand canyon. It is more like some God has gotten a great sythe and torn up the land to a specific point.
So, the tech is post modern, but not too far. Laser weapons will exist, but I want a "Fallout" style (as in the roleplaying game Fallout) of roleplay. For those of you not familar, sort of Mad Max style, or Gorkamorka. So this calls for recovered technology and such. Of course, your nations will hardly have this kind of equipment, but I certainly do not want high tech drop ships unleashing laser equiped stormtroopers. Balistic weapons are your freinds here.
I would suggest that you bring down a squad or a character to investigate or something, and then you can meet my nation members...along with meet something else entirely. :)
