Huh?
Translation:
I am new to NationStates and am not familiar with the basic diplomacy of war. Explain proper war etiquitte to me in one month's time or I will bug Rotten Bacon with attacks that have poor grammar and are most likely godmodded.
AMF had a guide to war ettiquite somewhere in II. If I can't dig it up, I'll give you this advice:
Explain your reason to go to war ahead of time, and make it one that isn't stupid or immoral.
Make sure the other person knows (OOC, at least) you intend to go to war with them. This is especially important since you may wind up attacking while they are on a different area of the continent IRL.
Use proper grammar. This makes it easier to avoid miscommunication and miscalculation of numbers. For example, saying you want to send eight bombers at a military base, but don't double check your grammar and accidentally send eighty, cutting out of your primary attack force and overworking the bombers' escorts. This could happen whether you are typing the words out or using numbers (ten versus 10), so don't think it can be avoided.
Never godmod. This includes having a bigger military force than you can fund, more troops than 5% of your total population, saying how many casualties the enemy forces suffer, saying you suffer casualties much lower than what is to be expected from an attack (the nuke hits and kills a puppy), and similiar unfair advantages that don't have concrete foundation. Outnumbering your enemy ten to one because you deployed ten times as many troops to the location as they did, however, is perfectly fair.
I know I'm forgetting some stuff, but I'm sure someone else will come along to fill the gaps.
