News-Speak News Agency reporting

After several years of drafts and redrafts, the Administrator of the new Republic of City 451 has declared the unwritten constitution finished and has disbanded the interim government.

In his inaugural address broadcast across the city-state, The Administrator dismissed claims that an undefined constitution and a distinct lack of statute law or legal system would have any effect on civil or political freedoms. “If a government is behaves in a fair and just manner than it will be a fair and just government with or without unnecessary and arbitrary restraints on their power.”

The political staff here at News-Speak would like to thank the government for their guidance in our struggle. The most recent announcement has freed the government from the wastage common to the older, more decrepit nation states.

City 451 overview

The recently founded Republic of City 451, ruled over solely by the Administrator, has a population of some five million and a multitech level modulating between modern, post-modern and future technologies. However, most post-modern and future technologies are reserved for Law and Order and Government, the massive capitol-esque Spire built from smart reactive materials at the heart of the city and the armoured police patrolling the streets with neuro-shock truncheons are an obvious indication of this. The civilian population and the disconcertingly weak standing army commonly use technology familiar from the mid 20th Century, the advancements only usually interfering with their daily lives when spy drones peak through their windows.

It is also rumoured that City 451 is seeking alliances for trade and support, rumours that may well soon be confirmed.

OCC: Did any of that make any kind of sense?
