Driver One Name: Eric Montoya
Driver One Speciality: Fast Circuits
Background: Eric is the new young hotshot driver for NRS. He started off racing in ISBC on the NRS Aprilia, and quickly moved to car racing. He is best suited to running on fast tracks, a pass over from his motorcycle racing days. This is Eric's first International F1 Championship race, and third over all. He took first in the 2004 IF1R Serries and third in the 2003 IF1R Serries. While racing with ISBC, he went undefeated after his third season, which accounts for the 1998 on season. He strives in all events for a first place finish, and has been called reckless by some, and strategic by others.

Driver Two Name: Dawn Ortiz
Driver Two Speciality: Urban
Background: Dawn was born and raised in Southern Imitora, and currently holds the title of only female driver in IF1R. She is the lead blocker for Eric, and this is here first International F1 Championship. She hasn't been racing long, only three years, but quickly moved up in the ranks of driving. In 2004 she took second behind team mate Eric Stratos, and first in 2003. She strives for first place at most events, yet if for the betterment of the team, she will accept a blocking position.

The Car:
This year, as in the past, NRS has gone to BMW/Willams F1 in order to provide a champ winning car. Taking power to a next step, NRS has had BMW/Williams provide their vehicles with a new 3000cc Turbocharged V10. Producing just under 1,800hp at the wheels (approx. 1,650rwhp), this new Titanium Aluminum Cast motor weighs 25% lighter than those used in the past, while being well over 75% stronger and capable of handling heavier loads, while reving up to 18,000RPM. The car itself is made of CarbonFiber/Carbon Kevlar mix, making it a full 10% lighter than last years model (not including driver). In order to handle the higher velocities, the brakes have been upgradded slightly, using a larger caliper and piston made from carbon fiber. The suspension is the standard F1 car suspension, but uses an even stiffer damper, allowing much quicker turning. Power is put to the ground through a 7 speed SMG gear box, cappable of .02 second shifts.

DRIVERS

Bransu Likweed: Picked up by the newly formed Nedalia F-1 Racing Association, he was scouted on the streets of Aanjar, blowing away all opponents away on the long highway just outside the desert city. His training in the F-1 circuit has gone exceptionally well, and during a training run, he impressed all those watching. Definitely one to watch. He is 25 years old. His speciality is Urban, Fast Circuits.

Fred Quantaran: Hailing from the capital city of Kafra, he is the son of a rich businessman who has made his money from his own electronic company. Disappointed with his son’s passion, he saw an opportunity to make him something he could be proud of, signing him up with the Nedalia F-1 Racing Association. It took just one trial run for the association to snap him up. His speciality is Medium Circuits.

Trusinado: This mysterious racer calls the city of Woodston his home. His story is almost the opposite of his partner, Quantaran. He made his living racing, and that was his means of survival. His speciality is Urban Circuits.

OOC:

Wow! Good response!

I would firstly like to limit it to 24 drivers, otherwise the workload is ammense. each team and driver needs to be calculated for each race.

I usually delegate pictures, as otherwise you would get a lot of 1980's/1990's car's, when this is based on the 2005 season. However, if you want a particular team picture, just ask! Otherwise, it will eb the same colors as last year.

Also, pictures make numbers difficult, as it is unlikely you will ever see an F1 car bearing the number 66.

Also, Imitora, you are unlikely to ever get an F1 car with 1,800 bhp. Hell, they are just about 900 bhp now. Oh and gearboxes generally shift at around 0.08/0.07 seconds.

I will write up the teams now. Only two spaces left!

Even a high compressions turboed V10? Well, I'll tone it down a notch, and if its not obvious, I'd like to use BMW/Williams F1 pics for cars.

They don't like to make sense over there, it's more of a cool kids crowd where you have to be in already to ever have a chance of competing.

But alas, since we are one of the cool kids, our trio shall return to defend their title:D

And regarding car numbers 1 & 2, it's perfectly fine, we'll take 14 & 15 with the big ole cats again :D

14 - Gary Shultis Jr.
15 - Jurgen Ramzi
Alt - River Suzgar

more to follow...

Imitora:

A) Theres a maximum rule of compression in F1.

B) NO turbo's.

24 cars try, 24 qualify.

As for color requests, I'll see what I can do.
Fmjphoenix
17-05-2005, 20:53
well, color is not a big factor, more if we could have numbers 5 for Buck and 24 for Dannoz, it would be really cool.
Vilita
17-05-2005, 21:00
that would probably be pretty illogical as no team will have had both of those numbers in the past :D
